Depositing question.

So as we know its almost impossible to use credit cards to make a deposit into a casino. We use other sources such as click2pay moneybookers instadebit ewallet and so on. My question is this so when you win at these casinos they deposit the funds back into the means of deposit, but now the prob comes when you want to use this money to deposit into another casino why is it they still charge back to you bank account. So what does someone do next this person had a nice sum of money into one of those deposit features and during this had planned on changing their bank account from saving to checking account so when they went to deposit they charged the bank the money rather then taking it from the money they had in their account such as c2pay instadebit and so on.
I havent had to deal with this issue for them so thought i would ask here to see what she should do. She is now dealing with 40 dollar charge for nsf from bank plus the charge that one of c2pay instadebit will charge her instead of them using the money she had in her account with them, if you cant load up the account and depend on them using that what else do you do.

1) Do not have it linked to a bank account.

2) If a link is needed, deregister the account with the eWallet BEFORE you ask the bank to make any changes.

3) Provided the funds are in the eWallet, they should have been used to fund a new deposit, the linked bank account is only for the purpose of funding deposits where insufficient funds exist within the eWallet to cover the request.

It would seem that the eWallet made a mistake in this instance, and should therefore compensate the customer for the consequences of this mistake. Enforcing it is a different matter though, they are not usually regulated in the same country as the player, although if they are regulated elsewhere, a complaint might be possible.

Click2Pay seems questionable, they are a German company, but when I had cause to complain I was contacted by their then CEO - from CYPRUS! I had a Cyprus address for their "offices", and was assured this was the GREEK part, and not the Turkish part - important, because only the Greek part is in the EU, and regulated as such.

Moneybookers and Neteller are regulated here in the UK, and also the IOM for Neteller (it is rather light regulation though, more a licence that excuses them from many of the provisions required of proper banks).

She is process of moving and what happened was simply this she won had 400 sent to instadebit left in instadebit did not ask to move it back to bank left it there so while she moved had money to play and her bank account wouldnt be touched.
For others that dont have instadebit how we fund it is easy it comes right out of
our bank account to instadebit then on to the casino. So she i guess had maxed out her bank account with all the extra fees out there that goes with moving and didnt think twice about using the 400 from instadebit to fund a rtg casino figuring that they would use that as the funding. Instead they put it through her bank account that bounced. Now her instadebit account is locked she cant even view it. Thanks for any help she is to shy to post here and join and afraid relatives would find out. She had got the 400 on monday last week and put 30 into a rtg on thurs.

I do not understand instadebit, but if the 400 was still available in instadebit, a 30 deposit should have been covered by this, leaving 370. There should have been no request made to the linked account, so it being emptied by moving fees should never have been an issue.

There might be some peculiar way that instadebit works that caused it to attempt to remove fresh money from the bank, rather than use part of the 400.

Perhaps taking it up with the bank might help, just say that there was 400 already in instadebit, and the 30 "purchase" should have been covered without the need for a further request from the bank account. Now, your friend can claim that not only was this 30 taken from the wrong place, but the original 400 has "become unavailable".

The worst that can happen is that the old bank finds out this has to do with online gambling, but relatives need not know. As your friend is moving anyway, it is going to be a different bank from now on. The old bank could keep the account open until this is resolved, and then forward the money.
This kind of thing is a pain in the a** here, so I don't expect it to be a smooth ride for your friend either.

I once merely changed bank BRANCH, and they managed to "lose" a month's pay in the process. It turned out they credited it to the OLD account, but started taking payments from the new branch held account. I did at least get it sorted by going there in person and firing the proverbial rocket up their a***s.
 
Sadly she got found out her hubby did. And yes this is real strange as she had the 400 and used 50 for a mg casino so amount went down to 350 she says she had been playing at rtg and the rj had been high and i think she is on the lines of my playing low depositor. So on this thurs she dropped 30 in figuring it would of come out of instadebit. I thought maybe it got caught up if she asked instadebit to move it back to her bank account but she said no she didnt have that done she had left it in her instadebit account to use for playing. So i take it as the weekend went on and her moving she wasnt keeping track figuring instadebit would tell her when balance hit 0 and then she would have to have the bank fund instadebit. If we dont read about this huge fight heading her way via newspapers ill post you how it goes for her. thks vw for you help she is at her wits end with all this.
