Daily Offers Thread

We currently have the free spins thread which is informative but I feel we're lacking a thread highlighting the best offers for depositing customers on a daily basis. I always find it a bit of a chore checking through emails and sites to see which is the best place to make my deposit (i.e. the place i'm going to get the best/biggest bang for my buck).

Thinking it might be wise to kick off a thread where we can contribute the best offers we're aware of at any given point in time. Not sure if this has been done before or has any issue with the rules (don't think so).

Assuming people support this then i'd suggest that anyone can post (including casinos) but that the offers should relate to accredited casinos only. Ideally the information posted would include:

  • Name of the casino
  • A description of the offer (x% Bonus, etc)
  • Any qualification criteria (i.e. x deposited in y period)
  • Wagering requirements
  • Any other terms that people might need to know
  • Limitations (such as first x customers)
  • Duation (i.e. when the offer will expire)

What do you guys think?

On that note, not seen many exciting offers for Easter yet...

...anyone else?

Bingostars - good selection of Microgaming, WMS, IGT etc

Daily 100% match on £10 deposit, code C10. Wagering is x25 as well!

Fast payouts and good CS, I find myself playing there almost daily because of this excellent reload

Generally not a bad idea to open a thread like this, but offers differ due to countrys, VIP-level, deposit-sizes, activity etc. So only a fragment of the players might be able to claim them.

More important you attract all those anonymous lurkers, multi-account fraudsters and even worse scum to start a raid and leave nothing behind but burnt ground and solitude.

Promotions like bonuses, cashbacks and freespins should be for (regular) depositing players only and not be posted in a (public) forum. The free-spin thread is somewhat okay I think but a thread where you discuss daily/regular bonuses makes it even more easy for people to abuse. This will only result in further deterioration of bonus quality. If we would have something like a "experienced member" only forum, or "invitation only" it might be okay but this is not CM's philosophy.

Great offer; but only for users from the U.K. :(

...and they are not accredited either.

I agree totally with hedgehok. This is not what this forum is about, and I think it's bad enough with the free spin thread were people are posting free offers for casinos they know nothing about.
Like he said, if just experienced members could read then why not maybe but...well I guess it's up to Bryan to decide.
Ask him please.

Bryan is on the road at the moment, his response here may be delayed.

There are sites tracking the daily offers, our own Rainmaker's blog is one of the best and the casinos featured are mostly accredited here as well.

Generally, I don't think it should be a problem keeping this thread live, as long as we stick with our casinos. After all, posting deposit offers for non accredited sites is technically spam.

I personally think the whole idea cheapens this forum.

People will come on here telling us about their latest email offer that may be tailored just for them, or players that share their level of qualification. Then other players at that casino will come bitching that they haven't had the same offer and moaning to the poor reps.

Hedgehok hits the nail on the head when he mentions the danger to our bonus offers that could result if we had a free-for-all thread.

Then there's the question of indirect linking to offers which may be only available through a certain affiliate link outside CM.

If there is a new casino offer and the new site joins CM and gets a rep then the offer can made available to us all through the proper approved CM links.

Then what happens if an offer is posted which causes the player issues or has NCD status here? More work for Max and more nonsense.

The OP mentions 'accredited only' in which case the whole thing is pointless as we have a CM list of accredited sites anyway to check the latest offers through.

I believe we should keep our offers private as often they are directed at us personally. Exposing them can create a pitchfork mob when other players at the site(s) demand the same, ignoring their lack of expenditure for example. People will just post the hooks and not mention the smallprint.

Turning the site into a whorehouse for free spins and other 'offers' will just attract the wrong people and detract from the forum in my opinion.

I for one won't have anything to do with it.:(

I do agree with most part here. Maybe best just to keep the exclusive Promotions here as all the posting of general offers at Casinomeister is not really my taste. I have myself tried started posting promotions and best offers every day at my own site but it's hard work and as correctly stated offers are very different even for each player. Especially Thrills and similar casinos use different offers for different players. And then you have different countries. I know Betsson use totally different offers for each country and the same for ComeOn Casino.

But I think the Free Spin thread is great as it keeps us up to date when someone finds something and we can give it a try but again might not be a good thing either

I feel Casinomeister is the best discussion forum out there and should keep that way. Not turn into posting of offers every day still a good suggestion though but I think that is for other places IMHO. :)

Yeah actually after reading this I've changed my mind and totally agree with the above, does make a lot of sense :)

Please pretend post #3 isn't there:D

I agree with the majority. There is no need for a daily offers thread or even a free spin thread on CM for that matter. If you are a member of the casino that is giving out either an offer or free spins they mostly email you (I say mostly because got Videoslots and Guts forgot my email address:p).

Casino Reps post CM exclusive offers and free spins all the time and I think that is the only way that advertising offers and such is acceptable. These casinos are usually accredited or in the BBF section.

Having a daily offers thread leaves us open to members unknowingly posting codes for rogue or borderline rogue casinos which as stated before leads to a whole lot of headaches and more work for Max.

CM should always be known for a site that puts player advocacy first. It should attract new members because it is such an awesome site:thumbsup: and not because of daily deals or free spins threads. That is my 4cents (went up from 2 due to inflation).

Cheers:thumbsup:
