Totalbet and UK Betting have been refusing to pay out any winnings and banning players after doing the 500 WR for the monthly bonus this month.

Has anyone done the 50 at Littlewoods this month?

Are they doing the same?

I think its a grand of wagers at Littlewoods...i received mine :)

This is apparently an escalating problem right now. The casino name would have been handy in the title, antibes.

It happened to me earlier this year. Didn't make any mention of it as I wasn't too concerned about 25 quid, but it's definately becoming an issue and I've heard of many, many complaints now.

Totalbet are extremely out of order here: they advertise a monthly bonus as for "all players"; as one of "all", I deposit and play; then, I am then told - after the fact - that I am apparently not one of "all players", as I am to be denied the promo.

This represents fake advertising, and I'm sure that the licensing jurisdiction would have to take a dim view of the practice; however, I'm not sure who Crypto answer to - is it Alderney, Isle Of Man or something else?

Also, involvement from the license issuer would only come on the back of a player complaint, and I have a feeling that noone is going to bother for £25.

Ukbetting sent me an e-mail last week that I am not eligible for further bonuses, but I got the totalbet monthly bonus. Littlewoods stopped giving me monthly bonuses in 2004 if I remember correctly. The right thing is clearly to inform people up front rather than letting them wager and then telling them that their playing style is undesirable (like Omni).

We all know that Omni and CarSands have outrageous WR's. This was done late in 2005 because of bonus abusers. Also, you cannot get the $100 bonus until the day after you met the WR.

Can you tell us how you betting? Did you deposit, the w/d and only risk the bonus. They see this as abuse.

Can you tell us how this would be possible?

Exactly how do you deposit, wager, and withdraw without risking the bonus, when said bonus has not even been credited?

Would that they extend this courtesy to anyone else.

Ive never had any problems with any Crypto casino and dont see why this is a Crypto problem. Just like the many RTG issues, you cant really blame the software provider if over time a casino or business in general goes down the rogue route. The issue is with the casinos in question and one would assume if they were located anywhere in the UK (Alderney, isle of man etc are part of the UK right?) they would be subject to regulations both for fair gaming and advertising.

ok, I see. I was thinking about Intercasino - where they give you the $100 right away. You are correct - Omni and CarSands credit after the fact.

I am in the USA so I cannot play Betfair ...

I am assuming the pulled that BS when the WR was still small (I think it was $2500) and BJ/Pontoon counted as 1 for 1.

My mistake.

INTERCASINO

I got an email from INTERCASINO, that I too, am not one of all players. I will not recieve a match bonus, because I did not deposit enough of "my"money. Even though I always deposited at least 100 per mo, and have never cashed out!!

That just sounds odd. I hope you questioned them in a response email. I would find your deposits (hopefully on neteller) and email them all the accounting. Then state your case.

I would also inform them that you are posting your unjust banning on this forum and any forum that you can find.

I would explain that, although you enjoy playing at sites with bonuses, you have never (not once as you say) w/d any money nor abused the bonus.

I would send a copy to support as well as Ryan.

Next step would be to call them directly.

As long as you have not abused their bonus with Interpoker/Casino or at a sister Cryptologic site, you have a chance.

Yeah it is worth a shot. But I don't think they wil be impressed just because someone deposited the minimum amount each month to receive the bonus and let their balance grow.

As long as you received this email BEFORE depositing, this is acceptable. It sounds like you did.

If you deposited, didn't get the bonus and THEN got the email, this is a bit out of line, but not as bad as Total Bet given that Inter's bonuses are upfront and not post-wager. The most the latter scenario would cost you is the $1 transaction fee, whereas the TotalBet cost is the value of the negative expectation on your wagering for the bonus.

Still, lesser of the two evils notwithstanding, if you were advised post-deposit and not pre-deposit I would expect Inter to pay you this month, one last time.

If you were advised pre-deposit, they don't owe you anything.

Player Bonuses at InterCasino

Hi,

At InterCasino we are continuously monitoring our players' behaviour on accounts and always wary of any potential bonus abuse that may occur.
At times we may be contacting a player who would have rectified their behaviour by the time they were notified and will be more than willing to re-assess their account status.

sophiesmom, please will you contact me via email with your account number and I will personally look into your account.

We are appreciative of our loyal players and ensure that they are rewarded for their support.

See - I really don't agree. This is purely my opinion, but this picking and choosing about who get's the bonus, and who's a bonus abuser and who isn't etc is entirely out of order.

I'm not specifically getting at Intercasino at all, they're just the latest in a long line of casino's to take this stance -- more this whole issue in general and the general opinion/actions of casinos.

This is how I see it... Either offer a bonus, with terms and conditions, or don't. Don't decide based on play who gets it and who doesn't... Just do your homework in advance and if, overall, the bonus benefits the casino from a promotional perspective - keep it. If it doesn't, overall, don't offer it to anyone - or offer it by invitation only to specific, valued players.

It seriously pisses me off that casino's emblazen offers all over their websites and in promotional material, then pick and choose which players are allowed to take advantage at their discretion. It's like they expect to win all ends up, it's poor long term business practice and it's wrong.

If someone meets all the 'terms and conditions' of the bonus offer, regardless of if this is by 1p or a million quid - they've met the conditions. Don't go through them branding people bonus abusers if they don't go onto tilt and pour it all back in again.

I should point out, I've NEVER been refused a bonus at any casino - and always burst well through any requirements before cashing out... That's just how I play. Someone who's a little more controlled and decides to play a little more cautiously (whilst fulfilling all requirements) should never be penalised.

Intercasino and Totalbet, despite their excellent reputation and many plus points in other areas, are un-installed and off my list of places to play permanently. I just think it's wrong to patronise a casino that clearly thinks it's ok to only allow people to take advantage of a well publicised, supposed "for all" bonus - if they meet their required "style of play". Nonsense.

Style of Play

If we are to be classed as "bonus abusers", due not to "taking the piss", but simply by playing the games to the best of our ability while meeting T & C, then we deserve to be told up front IN THOSE T & C, what "style of play" will get us kicked off the bonusing list. It is certainly not clear!
I have been kicked off of bonus lists from the rogues, where "style of play" that gets a ban is simply having won! Others, I have just not lost enough.

While many will not believe this, the most extreme "kick off" from regular bonuses was meted out to me by Ruby Fortune. While it was explained as an "administrative error", I find it painfull that it has taken more than a month to correct this "administrative error", yet they requested, processed, and validated all my documents in a record breaking 12 hours!!!!!!! (The actual mailing and confirmation of valid receipt was done in 4 hours, the rest was the finance dept validating them). At the time, I was 4000 down on deposits of 9000, hardly abusive play!!!!! I had also made a number of deposits beyond the minimum for the bonuses, and this is quite dificult as only 2 days of 7 do not qualify as deposit bonus days.

This week though, I received an E-mail stating that the investigation was complete, and they had corrected this error. If so, the next mailer should go out Friday, and I should be Gold, having earned that for play in February. I will keep an open mind till tomorrow before I cry "liar!", as the fix may only have been made on Wednesday, and I had not played since the debacle over the check and cannot know if the bonuses started working soon after and the problem was only the mailer.

Littlewoods, (earlier in thread), are STILL INVESTIGATING the issue I raised on 13th December 2005. I have phoned support at least once a week through December and early January, but all they could do was E-mail managers (they cannot phone). I have never had a response, but the 50 reward still works on my account.

Clearly, if only depositing the min for the bonus gets you flagged, well, overdeposit, wager for the bonus, and make a bigger withdrawal!!! Silly, but it shows that you have made money available should you go "on tilt" one day, and they can hardly say that you are banned for gambling responsibly with your deposit and withdrawing when you felt you had used up your luck!

Depositing at Intercasino and then regularly withdrawing before playing, that would be "bonus abuse", even though within the terms, it is playing in "bad faith", as the withdraw at any time rule is not meant to allow this as routine, but is there to allow a player to get "cold feet" about playing if they feel out of their depth and at least quit with something. After doing this a few times, you are a customer with no possible value to them as they have no chance of winning, just as players would not like a game where you could either lose, or win back your original stake, but could never get ahead.

I'm still not clear that the poster received the bonus exclusion BEFORE he deposited. If he did, Inter is not at fault. The poster has failed to clarify this, so I'm assuming Inter DID inform him first, and haven't behaved improperly.

Other than that, this was a good post, Slotster.

The behaviour by TotalBet is absolutely out of order, and whichever licensing jurisdiction they answer to should be informed.

<forgive me - my spell check is down>

I 100% agree that picking and choosing who gets a bonus - when the bonus is open to all - and who does not, is not a good idea for a online casino. I do not work at an online casino nor a live casino, but I know that live casinos ban players. Is it fair to ban card counters? I do not think so, but I am sure that the gaming industry does. I would never argue that with anyone about that. And you have every right to voice your disapproval of casinos abusing thier bonus offers.

I hope you understand why I was thanking Ryan and why I thought it was a class act on his part to answer. (1) He actually answered. (2) He had enough smarts to answer in a way that offered help.

I do know that Intercasino has (in the past) a poor reputation of not answering emails for days if at all, etc.

i survived littlewoods this month

...and they paid my neteller in less than 24 hours

not really a "bonus", rather a "reward" where 50 GBP are added to your account when your bet total for the month hits 1000 GBP. it's nice that it's an automatic reward as soon as you hit 1000 so no hassles

i began flatbetting bj.....then soon got bored and mixed in some other games and nearly busted twice before making the reward.....of course I suppose one can make additional deposits in order to chase down that reward

First post on this excellent board. Please allow me to bother you in following matter.

UKbetting denied me the reward of 25 after I wagered 500+ and on top of that I had deposit 110 and lost all of it...

I joined 1st of February 2006 and I have got the reward for February and March and since I have not got an email saying that I am not eligable for this month I decided to play.

PLEASE NOTE:
This reward is available to all players for 2 consecutive months after which the casino management will review eligibility and notify any players who will no longer qualify to receive the reward. Only play at the ukbetting download casino will count toward your wagering requirement. Wagering on any version of baccarat, craps, roulette will not count towards the 500 wagering requirement.

I did not receive any notification and until you get it they should honor their T&C. Additionally I don't understand their math barring a player who spends 110 and have overall negative balance. If it were my casino I would want to keep myself as a player but hey that's just me.

It's only 25 but I think they should pay their customers. I have complained to Customer support and they say my account has been reviewed by casino manager and it's final. Is there anything more I can do?
