I thought BJ was supposed to be a low house edge game, and slots high house edge games.

Well someone must have turned this Crypto house upside down last night!

Played 3 Rapid Fire Slots, got bonus feature & small but nice wins on all.
Then played Blackjack @ $2 per hand, doubling stake once after a win. I have never seen such diabolical dealer 'luck'.
Wagered $190, lost $70 = house edge of 36.8%! Is that a record???
:(

Hey KK - that's called a "payback" figure, not "house edge", without meaning to detract from your point which is funny. A few more posts like this and I might turn into a slot player :)

If you want to know what really happened in your 62 hands, send them to me and I'll tell you.

And please try to double when you are supposed to - that's killing me

Oh, no. I hope that they didn't do away with this bonus. Maybe since it's just Dec. 1st they haven't posted on their page yet.

I think that SD BJ game at Crypto is probably the best game out there. Wish I had found it sooner. But a word of caution to others who may want to play it - make sure you do get the right BS because there are over a dozen changes to the normal multi-deck strategy.
And using the composition-dependent plays is a plus too.
Were you playing $500/hand on $500 bankrolls or just finishing one unit down before you stopped?
Anyway - here's an easy way to get all your money back and then some - just take the Steelers next time we play the Eagles :)

I've tried 'perfect strategy' but I just lose quicker! I'm happier WAGing it!

Jeeeeeze! You lost more in one night than I have in 3 years! :(

Mind you, you bet more on one hand than I do in an entire evening! :D

Strange about Sands, because they were definitely offering a bonus yesterday evening (9pm GMT). Might be worth double-checking that.

Good luck next time (if you've got any money left!)

meh... it happens, okay rarely... but losing streaks happen, i experienced them in poker... just harder to take b/c blackjack is supposed to be almost 1 to 1 on odds no matter how badly you play (assuming you still play a sound strategy, for single-deck i use wizardofodds blackjack calculator with deck=1, soft17=hit, surrender=late)

i also went off on a streak that same night and made 2,500$ by playing blackjack and baccarat 300$ per hand at casino-on-net, plus some solid ups in Igm and playtech casinos last night means i still have around 12k to gamble with

okay... 10k to gamble with and 2k to get superbowl seats to watch eagles beat pittsburg
