A 1 / 50000 chance of death, compared to the vax which several silenced experts say is a 1 / 5 or worse chance of death within 5 years.
Given the choice of receiving a covid vax, or being infected with covid, I would choose covid all day long.
A 1 / 50000 chance of death, compared to the vax which several silenced experts say is a 1 / 5 or worse chance of death within 5 years.
Each to their own, and any vax passports, bring them on, us Brits will burn down places that require them, whether vaxxed or not.
The US is always behind the curve, and looks to us Brits to save the world time and time again.
I'll take that bet too, @dealer wins put your money where your mouth is, if you're right, 5 years from today I will donate £5000 to a charity of your choice. If you're wrong, then you donate the same amount to a charity of my choice. Deal?if 60% of the population of the UK have had the vaccine , that is around 35 million people.
So you are saying they 20% of that will die in 5 years because of the vaccine?
that is over 7 million people….
so you are obviously a gambler, as you are on a casino forum , so how about a wager on that number ?
I call BS on that number,, absolutely no chance .
How much do you want to bet ??????
I so wish it was possible to get banned from this forum for talking complete and utter bollox in each and every post.
You make no valid arguments, never back anything you post up with facts and just talk complete shite.
You must be doing well for the dick of the year award

You might want to go back through the thread then and see why he got suspended for a while, the only person on this thread who has been suspended for anything that has been posted on it.In the end tho take Dealer for example.
He has his views that are probably totally wrong. Pretty sure he believes what he posts but all facts would probably prove otherwise. But i have never saw him make any post against another member or to insult or attack any member.
Do not need to. I have read the thread since it started. You might want to go back through the thread then and see why he got suspended for a while, the only person on this thread who has been suspended for anything that has been posted on it.

Yes he has totally out of it beliefs. Still nothing to get banned for.
In fact since you quoted me you have actually called him things several times that other members in other threads would have been banned for.
Clearly you haven't read the thread, certainly not the posts he got suspended for, which were far worse than anything anyone else has said, presumably why he got suspended for those comments and no one else has for theirs.
What have a I called him that anyone else would have been banned for? Feel free to report them if you haven't already.
no, you clearly said bannedSorry i forgot you always need to think you are correct.
I also never said you should have been banned merely in other threads calling members names normally leads to a warning.
But that is also the big difference. I never have and never will be the one that needlessly reports posts. Why would i want to report someone. Even if a member insulted me and called me for everything i would not report it. Guess i am just the sort of person that could not care what i am called.
Whereas there are a few in here that would report everything. Also members that look to get a reaction then report it. Also members that correctly would attack casinos for wrong doing. But when other casinos do the same they don't even blink an eye as no vendetta against them.
But guess that is the way of a forum and human nature.
no, you clearly said banned

I don't think I've reported a single post in this thread, possibly did when dealer was telling everyone to 'fuck off' who disagreed with him (you know, dealer who does no wrong) cant remember 100%, and certainly haven't for anything he has said to me or the lies he has constantly posted.
Anyway we will see how much he believes his comments when he either does or does not take anyone up on putting his cash up if he is right or wrong.
But Paul, this isn’t some disagreement over football tactics in the Euros, this is serious discourse over a serious viral infection.Maybe he would not have been telling people to fuck off if the usual clique at the time were not all joining in and mocking him and calling him an idiot to put it nicely.
But again i have saw him called plenty whenever he posts. So because someone has totally wrong views and believes stuff he reads that makes it fair game for several to all join in ridicule and name call. Like the sort of thing that i expect to see in primary one at school.
Maybe what you post is true. But Paul, this isn’t some disagreement over football tactics in the Euros, this is serious discourse over a serious viral infection.
Someone comes out with some crock about the vaccine killing 20% of those who have it and then before you know it this piece of false information is spread high and wide. Even if 1 person is then dissuaded to have the jab, that’s one more potential death or one more person with a 50% higher chance of spreading it to a vulnerable person.
Everybody is free to choose whether they have the jab or not…that’s basic freedom of choice and autonomy. I fully support that.Had a school letter saying cases are up 240% since last month in our tiny area of almost 200,000 people.
Agree that Dealer spouts some shit but disagree that anybody speaking outside the narrative in this thread seems to be shut down.
I've chosen not to have the jab so does that make me a menace to society?
Sorry, but the politicians and scientists you all put your faith in spout more crap than Dealer.
Wasted billions and still pumping the pharmas with more, oh, what a new strain, let's place an order for 15 million boosters please.
Heard an interesting debate the other day about our patriarchal political systems being completely out of date. True democracy is a touch away in modern society, you could literally get a majority vote within minutes using an app or the means of communication we have now.
Sorry we lied on several occasions and wasted lots of money but here, take this injection, well be back with another just before Christmas.

There is a massive difference in posting something you genuinely believe to be true, and posting bare faced lies as if they are fact, which is something he has done for around a year now. Thats what I have a problem with, On top of that, when he posts something that isn't true, but he might believe to be true, when anyone posts the correct figures, or links to anything that debunks what he says, then he just completely ignores it.Maybe he would not have been telling people to fuck off if the usual clique at the time were not all joining in and mocking him and calling him an idiot to put it nicely.

Where I do draw the line is people choosing not to have the jab but then on top of that spouting unsubstantiated claims on a public forum. Fair enough choose not to have the jab but don’t then pluck statistics out of thin air to justify it publicly.
I'm fully against mandatory vaccinations in most cases, but do think there are certain settings where they should certainly be strongly encouraged, if not mandatory, like in care homes, care providers, and healthcare. One of the problems is, and it may spark people to adopt extremer views, that there are influential voices disagreeing with that approach, the leader article in the times yesterday called for mandatory vaccination of all adults and the same stick approach france is now rolling out.
[e.g. 6 months in jail for not having a pass within specified areas previously accessible and part and parcel of daily life]
No doubt there are uk senior govt figures and civil service/ big pharma funded scientists who also agree, it's just under the surface now waiting to rear it's ugly head. [my opinion]
I know it is a subject (covid and it's surrounding issues) that either way can get people's blood boiling, but I don't think setting a precedent of censorship is good for society, once you adopt that approach in a democracy where does it end in principle. We need to safeguard freedom of thought and speech as much as possible for future generations, that's a birth right we've had for years unlike countries such as NK or china.
Edit--- Seen you was quoting Bamber.@bamberfishcake
"I've chosen not to have the jab so does that make me a menace to society?"
Post that on one of the comment sections on Zuckerberg's platform, and you'll get your answer

Lets be honest, however much you are against them being mandatory, I think most people would be a bit nervous about their 90 year old grandmother being in a care home staffed by mainly under 30 year old girls who are out clubbing every weekend, who all refused the vaccination.
On the other hand, I don't think many people would care if a load of factory workers decided not to get vaccinated.

Thats the thing though Gaz, the bed is being made for me, I don't get much of a choice really. But your making your own bed, so please don't complain if it's very uncomfortable

It wont make you a menace to society.
But as Jono said you will certainly become an outcast, with normal life becoming harder and harder.
You wont be allowed in pubs, restaurants, hotels, planes, other countries. the list is endless.
I would expect anyone applying for a job in the future will have to prove they are fully vaccinated and contracts re-written to terminate your employment if you refuse.
Getting benefits will be an issue if you cant get job because you refuse to be jabbed.
Life insurance, Getting a Mortgage, i could go on and on.
Anyone self employed will need to be jabbed up, as i certainly would want proof before having any work done around me or my family.
Everyone will need to carry a passport style id to prove they are fully jabbed, probably will need to show it to enter a shopping centre, bus, train, life will just become impossible without one.
My Son is only 23 and works as a carpet fitter and was not sure weather to get the jab or not. He soon changed his mind when he could not go to fit a number of carpets, as customers were requesting, only fully vaccinated fitters. His company said to him unless you get fully jabbed, we will have no choice but to terminate your employment. It's not personal, but they cant pay someone who can only do some jobs and i expect more people will insist on only fully jabbed workers in the future.
Also he has had to delay his holiday to Prague by 2 weeks, as he could not get the second jab in time and he would not be allowed on the flight, so in hindsight it's worked out well for him.
He also has to take proof he has been fully vaccinated along with taking a test 2 days before leaving and a test before returning.
So yes it's your prerogative to not have the jabs.
But your making your own bed, so please don't complain if it's very uncomfortable.
P.S In regards to Dealer wins my biggest issue with him is scaremongering, not backing anything up with facts when called out and proven wrong.
And as Colin has said, he is just trolling this thread with lies.
This is not a game we are playing, it's a worldwide Pandemic and i have no issue with debating.
But i do have a major issue with a clown who has brought sweet FA to the table and has been posting crap in this thread for the last 16 months, like this whole Covid is just a big joke to him and we are all thick, Yet wont post a single fact.

Being honest I wasn't thinking of food prep. More along the lines ofI don't think the owner of the chicken factory would agree.
And i think it will be in the terms of any factory in the future.

Thats the thing though Gaz, the bed is being made for me, I don't get much of a choice really.
Didnt even think about what it would be like if my kids were adults and being forced to take it like us.
Im not convinced the jab is harmful, nor am I convinced it is beneficial either. I still wear a mask in public and avoid people like the plague almost.
As for Dealer, I agree with Mack that censorship is not helpful. I get the impression the posts are for reaction more than anything and self-satisfying when reading the replies. Best ignored, but once excluded another nutter tends to take their place and before you know it, your the next one, or, the only one left![]()
If you are employing people or hiring people you might prefer people that have less chance ending up in the hospital if they catch covid.Being honest I wasn't thinking of food prep. More along the lines of
A friend works in a factory that makes ball bearings for Nissan. That is all they do, and that is their only customer. From making one, it is around 3-6 months before it will be in a car on a forecourt. Then probably 5-10 years minimum before a wheel bearing, strut top mount etc has to be changed, so don't really think anyone buying the car would care if the person making them had had the vaccination.
Obviously, if you are making sandwiches for Tesco then it would likely be a different story![]()
Some fair points. I respect others opinions... but then that's got to be a two way thing for me to keep giving a shit in contiuniung to do so.
Though many of the points I and many predicted from day one and got laughed at for, you're standinb by now. But thats upto you, I woukdnt work for you now anyway. But I only made that specific reply due to logging into virtue signalling book recently, and seeing the absolute retardation from people who are already blaming the unvaxxed for deaths.
I Only keep facebook to keep hold of old friends since i moved. The virtue signalling drives me insane, even from people I've known since a child, so i rarely log in. I just happened to do so a few times recently and noticed thr absokute state of the fucktards that use it.
Ok, Bamber may have used the word "menace", which isn't the same as the word "outcast" but whatever word floats your boat, the first ultumately turns into the second. And just reading random comments on facebook was just a reminder of jow the population is being conditioned in regards to outcasting those that don't agree with them.
Whatever, I don't give much of a shit in all fairness. I saw it coming, I got laughed at, and tnis is only the beginning.
But, I'll wish you good day with your business, and I'll go back to my San Miguel now
edit. excuse the spelling. i had a pc once. tablets ars shit for fast typers, especially fast typers who have had a few beers![]()

again though, I'm talking about the public, not the owners/bosses. Obviously what you say is true for them, but ultimately, unless it's mandated by law, then if you are currently working somewhere, you can't get sacked for refusing to have it. I'm sure some company will at some point but I'm fully confident the employee would win at tribunal as the law stands today. As Kroffe pointed out.
If you are the boss of a company employing numerous people regardless of what you make.
If you can choose between fully vaccinated staff and ones that refuse.
I know who i would be choosing.
Why risk the chance of half your staff being wiped out.
Its looking like the vaccine is doing a good job of keeping people out of hospitals
The vaccines were sold on the premise that they significantly reduce the chance of severe disease and death. They are 90+% effective at this, even with a rampant Delta variant. If you don’t believe me, go back and look at how many hospitalisations and deaths there were in December with similar case figuresI hope your right about this. Has it worked well in Sweden?
I would reconsider my stance if I had witnessed some kind of evidence or felt this was a majority train of thought because im in the dark over it all really and only pick up snippets here and there or chat about it now and again.
I don't feel I can rely on any UK government source of info and have not got the impression that vaccines are working that efficiently.

Im really not updated on how the numbers looked before&after.I hope your right about this. Has it worked well in Sweden?

Thread doesnt appear in search for me so here goes my one and only...I would just like to point out that below in the 'similar threads' section there is a thread called 'Yo Momma' that contains a very impressive list of Yo Momma jokes.
Neat.

Obviously when employing new staff it can be a contract term.
They are the way out, we aren't in lockdown, we don't have (many) restrictions in place. Thats due to 47 million people being vaccinated. It boggles the mind that we've done everything asked of us in the UK, got double jabbed, wore a mask, and cases are soaring even with restrictions still in place. We were told vaccines were our way out of this mess - I'm not anti vax, just disappointed and wondering why I bothered.
Just to add my thoughts to this, I think it's down to ignorance more than anything when people do this. The vaccine doesn't stop transmission, it reduces it yes, but if someone fully vaccinated has it, you still have a fair chance of catching it from them.My Son is only 23 and works as a carpet fitter and was not sure weather to get the jab or not.
