Only good thing from all this lockdown is if that **** Richard Branson is sent to the dust. One of the most repulsive billionaires in the world.

Wants a hand out whilst he has over 3 billion in cash/assets, yes very sad for those who lose jobs but frankly thats not enough reason to give that repulsive snake 500m, I read virgin australia was several billionaire in debt anyway, if any of us had a business that deep in debt we be told to feck off by the banks. That company was screwed way before the coronavirus.

Given how stupid our government are making everyone bankrupt and jobless do they not realise when the shit hits the fan they won't have enough police to stop thousands lynching them and every other parasite rich person that has drained and milked the system way more than any poor people have with the benefit system.

I work for one of the biggest, richest companies in the world (although the new owners are still billionaires) and we had a meeting today and they were going to try and get government aid as they think they will lose like $35 million which is like .35 cents to us peasants, They are also taking away our "danger pay" after this week.

I’ve never once reported a member Dino, nor will I.
I was accused of racism numerous times with zero evidence.
I’ll happily post all me and harrys PM’s.
What I’ve been accused of multiple times is a disgrace and not once did I go crying to cm or the mods. Well let’s be honest, certain things and certain people have more sway than others.

With not many people out and about nature is looking beautiful

I'm lucky in that I live in a beautiful part of Australia (north coast of NSW) where pollution has never been a problem, as there is no heavy industry. Just beaches, blue skies and sunshine.

But the clarity of the air is even more striking that it was before - admittedly this is partly due to the cooler Autumn effect (my favourite month in any country I have ever lived in) refreshing and cleansing the air, but I guess we are also not getting any fumes drifting northwards/southwards from our polluted neighbours.

Just the clean, fresh ocean air.

People in the UK are saying they are hearing more birdsong than ever before as there is little to no traffic to drown them out; the Himalayas are visible from parts of Punjab; there is a decrease in pollution over China; levels of nitrogen dioxide have decreased in Italy, etc. etc. etc.

And this - a very interesting read:

The holiday money refunded to us companies acting disgracefuly would it be worth doing a charge back? Have all the proof from them promising the rest of the refund in cash and now they’ve back tracked saying we will get a voucher. Fuming.
