Corona virus - Covid 19 discussion

Woah, alot happened since i last checked this thread.

Also @mariafbb hope you start feeling better soon.

 oh I didn't know that, hopefully we can find out why so many people esp the young seem to be getting it. I still feel mobile phones could be causing the brain tumours, as it is beaming out microwaves. If the wifi signal from my router can get through two solid doors in my house, to my bedroom tv how does that happen, there's hardly much gaps  it's quite worrying when I think about it

Edit: missed maria's post above while typing this

I was watching Anatomy of a Murder the other day and was reading the trivia on IMDB -
" Part of the controversy surrounding this movie was because it included use of the words "bitch", "contraceptive", "panties", "penetration", "rape", "slut" and "sperm". "

in 50 years other people will laugh or we will , about the stupidity we had back in the day about one thing or another.
it's called progress. good or bad.

My guess is that what you say is true but I don't think the agenda with the virus was restricted to just effecting China. The World is too open for that. We have China exporting endless thousands of kids to Schools and youth to Universities around the World and those kids could have spread it around the world after visiting home over Christmas.
Just a theory

I have another one. Some guy called Falwell said on Faux that the virus is the promised Christmas present for Mr T from the North-Koreans. :D

I mean, we could have 1,000s of conspiracy theories.

Which Countries of the World are not controlled by the World Banking System?
Which Countries in recent years have been taken over via wars and overthrows that WHERE NOT controlled by the world banking system?

Yeah, Iran is not and they've tried for decades to get them. There are less than a handful left.

But then Italy is part and why would they then need to have the worst outbreak in Europe?

The deciding factor is the wavelength.

A good example is your microwave. Why is your plastic or ceramic pot not heating up as quickly as the food?

We can send signals millions of miles into space and they do not damage human tissue.
G5 was developed and has been used as weapon of war. It can be used to send folk crazy, effect sleep and/or effect mental health and lathargy. In short it has the capacity to effect mental health. It does not travel as well as 4g due to the diffrent wavelength. This means that the will see trees chopped down and the signal posts have to be much closer together to ensure coverage. This means the masts will be on every street sending out these potentially controlling waves.
It is scary

I don't know Harry. But if it is an ethnic and aged based virus then maybe they fucked up?

I don't want to derail this thread further, but this is a worrying article from 2018 in the guardian

"On 28 March this year, the scientific peer review of a landmark United States government study concluded that there is “clear evidence” that radiation from mobile phones causes cancer, specifically, a heart tissue cancer in rats that is too rare to be explained as random occurrence."

"Not one major news organisation in the US or Europe reported this scientific news. But then, news coverage of mobile phone safety has long reflected the outlook of the wireless industry. For a quarter of a century now, the industry has been orchestrating a global PR campaign aimed at misleading not only journalists, but also consumers and policymakers about the actual science concerning mobile phone radiation. Indeed, big wireless has borrowed the very same strategy and tactics big tobacco and big oil pioneered to deceive the public about the risks of smoking and climate change, respectively. And like their tobacco and oil counterparts, wireless industry CEOs lied to the public even after their own scientists privately warned that their products could be dangerous, especially to children. "

I'll read the whole article when I get a chance.

Edit: Just scan reading it, I feel this topic deserves a thread of it's own, but there's enough to worry about in life atm

The main problem with Covid-19 is that it is transmissible while a carrier is still asymptomatic. SARS, for example, became contagious only when symptoms were obvious.

And since in many cases it is no different from a "normal" flu, you can have 1,000s of so-called super-spreaders before anything is detected. Wuhan itself and the Hubei province are no small places, 11 million and 58 million respectively, plus probably a few million visitors every year. That is roughly the size of the UK.

Oh, I have no doubt that mobile phones have an impact. The question is only how much. I would think that it is well below the "damage" threshold, however, just like with smoking.... if you do 5 packs a day it is worse than just a few with a beer on a weekend.

Then we have the fact that 5G was developed in and has began being rolled out in where? Wuhan!

Is there a connection?

Gadaffi was overthrown and suffered a horrific death despite his Country keeping the stability of the region. What was his crime? Refusing to bow down to the banking system but instead he intended to move the regions currancy to gold. Given all that oil money not going into the world banking system would have had massive effect on the Dollar so he was offed

Weren't you talking about the Kama Sutra in the Bonanza thread a second ago?

No sir, that was the Karma Sutra, totally different thing and all about what goes around goes around, comes around defo not a typo either  :p

A good article about the uk govt's 'herd immunity' idea and why it's misguided, by Dr William Hanage who is a professor of the evolution and epidemiology of infectious disease at Harvard.

[ from today's guardian ]

"About that second wave: let me be clear. Second waves are real things, and we have seen them in flu pandemics. This is not a flu pandemic. Flu rules do not apply. There might well be a second wave, I honestly don’t know. But vulnerable people should not be exposed to a virus right now in the service of a hypothetical future. "

Also the:

The UK should not be trying to create herd immunity, that will take care of itself. Policy should be directed at slowing the outbreak to a (more) manageable rate. What this looks like is strong social distancing. Anyone who can work from home, should. People who do not yet work from home should be encouraged to do so. Employers should guarantee sick pay, including for contacts of known cases, and do everything they can to discourage the practice of “presenteeism”. You should not shake hands. Not with anyone. You should wash your hands for 20 seconds several times a day and whenever you enter your home (or someone else’s home). Call a halt to large gatherings. Educate people about masks and how they should be reserved for the medical professionals who need them

^
common sense

And:

Don’t panic, but do prepare. If your government won’t help you, do it yourself.

^ Also common sense. Can't expect the Government to babysit individuals. Though their handling of detecting it and overall 'Containment' phase was just laughably inept

Cant be having all these conspiricy theories, peeps will be saying the twin towers and dianas death
were put up jobs next.
The one thing i would not dismiss is the mobile signal theories, we are absolutely being bombarded by
radio signals of all types from inside and outside our homes like never before ,it could just be possible
that some alteration or mutation of harmless viruses has been triggered by them.No way would any government admit it as we are totally dependant on using these signals and the infrastructure of the whole world would collapse without them.

Humanity'd be just fine using 20th century technology, but everything is geared towards Faster, Have, More. Or whatever Harry abbreviated that time. I'm sure FHM is a lad's mag, but you get the gist

erm, as much as I'm no mountain of knowledge, I'm pretty sure the world got along just fine before mobiles, microwaves, satellites, infra red, wifi etc etc etc
What few realize is that before all this tech uber-wank, people just sat indoors and made origami animals using scraps of paper, or sing songs round the fire.

People didn't party, didn't have fun, and certainly didn't have sex

I think you may be mistaken.
I found this picture from before the time of uber-tech, and i think its pretty clear what is going on.

How does that work? Join a Union and Employment Law protections are deemed null and void?

U.K. wise the only Union that carries any clout is IMO the Teachers Unions. Seem to grant more concessions to them in negotiations.

Yes, we want the teachers union where I work as they seem to get everything here as well, lol. Here if you're under a Union the labor board nor any lawyers will help you or even respond if you have a case or something "illegal" happen and the Union does not want to do anything which happened to me.
So if you have a useless Union (like me) who does not want to help when something happens (like what happened to me) you're out of luck as if you're under a Union you can't file a claim as it all has to be done under and with the Union. So you lose all rights to file a claim with the labor board and or take legal action yourself.

The main Union rep who I had the problem with quit last week so that is some good news, bad news they pulled the guy before him out of retirement and he is not much better.

Man am I missing those days, I was just looking at Mountain/Road bikes as use to ride them all the time and want to do it again in a new life.

Iv had a history of being on both sides of Union disputes and if they’re ‘bad’, boy you’re screwed. Seen people walking in for what should be no more than a wrist slap and walking out without a job

My Dad was a big Union man and then a more militant version of them came along. He quit and went full Thatcher:eek2:

Yeah mate, as much as I use technology and would miss you lot awfully, I sometimes (often??) wish things were as they were during my childhood.

They've take over everything, getting kids to put tabs down is like climbing Everest and don't even get me started on today's auto phone switchboards, they take me from zero to rage in milliseconds :o

believe me, kids playing outdoors is still well alive and kicking
there's a zillion on my block and I hear them weekends and summer

both neighbours have hoops and it's all I hear all day....bang bang bang bounce bounce crash, scream, bang bang bounce *enter parent yelling* bang bang crash scream

now, with all the schools closed, I get the extra three weeks of it
hurrah

yeah, gotta love the logic of it
to avoid having to shop, im gonna jump on the mania and wait in a supermarket line with 300 other people for several hours

We could hark back to a time when there was a huge worry about living next to electrical pylons and how it effected us.
Ahh. Such simple times :(
