Sending a PM: in any one of my posts you'll see my avatar in the upper left (the Frankenstein guy). Beside that is my user name. Click on my user name and you'll get a pop-up context menu. One of the items on that menu is "Send a private message to maxd". Select that and you'll be sent directly to the PM edit page. It should be pretty obvious from there.

No. I'll let you know when I hear something, but please keep in mind that the Ombudsman does state that it will take some time for them to process these issues.

Ok, quick update:

I have heard back from the Ombudsman. They apologize for the delay -- apparently some information given was in error -- and assure me that they have their "best man on the job" and will report back "once we receive word from that investigation".

Fair enough, thanks to them for that, and let's hope for the best.

Ok, I've heard back from the Ombudsman. They don't say much but they do say that your account was closed about six months ago due to collusion.

Is this true? Note that I'm not asking "did you collude?", I'm asking "is that the reason they gave?".

hi can anybody help me? i have had an account blocked by check n raise poker and redkings,they have said i am in a gang of chip dumpers this is untrue and i have tried to get a response from them or to get them to say it in writing so ican take it further but have only had 1 email from them saying that my account has been blocked because of a breach of terms and coditions or a security/breach. i have managed to get them on the phone on 1 occasion and that was when they told me iwas in a gang of chip dumpers and that the game was up pmsl.i have only been playing poker since april this year and was just surfing looking for sites to make my full time site and downloaded both these sites played a handfull of games and then this happened.i dont know what to do now as i can get no response from them but have just heard that they are merging with chan poker.what do i do next? they have stolen my money falsely accused me of cheating and are just blanking me.any ideas or advice would be appreciated thanks.:notworthy

hi max, this is my original post and as you can see i have said that when i finally did get to talk to someone about this they said i was in a group of chip dumpers,(whatever that means?)i think i also got an email prior to this conversation saying that my account was blocked due to a breach of terms and conditions. i dont have any of the original emails from them because as i told you i am only a beginner with a computer and i deleted all of my emails accidently one day . i can assure you that i am not in a gang of chip dumpers and would not waste your time and effort on this matter max.these people blocked my accounts and would not give me an accurate reason as to why, i must have sent them a dozen emails verifying my account and another dozen asking for a more accurate reason as to why my accounts had been blocked and it took another half a dozen phone calls before i was accused of being a chip dumper,is there anyway that we can get the hand history for my games from them? and also find out who these others people are who i have been accused of chip dumping with?
i would also like to point out that i do not wish for my accounts to be re-opened i just want my funds returned from them,i have no interest in ever playing on these sites again.

just 1 other thing,i recently made an account up with a firm called jackpot joy,i deposited 500 and lost it and the next day i was asked for documents to verify this account,is this the norm with these sites?and if so why is it done this way around?surely it would be sensible to have people verify there accounts before they can play rather than have them lose 500 and then ask them to verify their account,(to be honest this really did give me the hump)

Also primepoker is mentioned.
Seems like a multiple accounts mess, since checkn raise has been bougth by chanpoker.

Did you had an account on chanpoker before they bougth checkn raise?
If so, this could be some explanation if they have not kept track of the bougth accounts correctly, thereby blaiming you for creating a second account.

Ok, current status: not much change really. They've gone over your case twice now and the Ombudsman is firm on their "collusion" charge. Unless you've got something new to add I don't see that there's really anywhere to go with this.

Given the age of the case, the fact that they've changed hands, the "collusion" ruling and then the confirmation of that ruling from the Ombudsman I'd say it's a closed case: time to move on.

hey vinyl,yes as i say about 6 months ago i was looking to play poker online full time ,i didnt have any informaton about which sites were any good so i just started by downloading about a dozen or so sites and playing a few games on each to see if i liked them. i (as you know) i downloaded all 3 of these sites and set up accounts without knowing that i had in fact already broken the terms and conditions of these sites without actually playing a single game.why is it then even possible to set up 3 accounts from the SAME email addy, surely this is something that should not be allowed in the first place? surely they should be blocking me from opening another account on the same skin.to let somebody open 3 accounts and then to tell me i have broken the terms and conditions is just mindboggling

you could always give up poker not only would you save money you would save all the hassle.
