CLICK2PAY LOCKING ACCOUNTS? NEED YOUR INPUT

Clickstupid

Surely Click2Pay MUST know that the modus operandi of recent bailouts has been lock first, and explain later. By locking accounts while being unable to handle any support requests is plain stupid. Surely they would have realised that the sudden loss of Neteller, and casinos shouting from the rooftops "use Click2Pay" - would lead to a sudden increase in account openings. Would a reassuring announcement on the website have been such a problem. Time will tell, but by the time they address this issue the damage will have been done - the seeds of doubt sown.

My account doesn't seem to be locked (I can log in to my account at c2p's site). I am in california, not a "forbidden state".

If you've had your account blocked, where are you?

Everyone, don't rush to open up another ewallet account to replace Neteller. Be patient to see where everything lands.

IMO this is probably the best advice for now, however frustrating this is.

I believe this crisis has pretty much caught everyone off guard (regardless of what public face is being put on it to placate investors) and to say the situation is *fluid* is an understatement - it's changing almost by the hour and I get the impression it's a scramble everywhere, exacerbated by the swamping of resources by worried customers.

The companies involved are not handling communications and arrangements as well as we would all like in this dynamic situation, but I doubt that player funds are seriously at risk with Neteller. That's my personal opinion, with which you may disagree.

Near panic, unconfirmed speculation and angry recommendations to try to damage companies involved in this mess are not going to improve matters, however tempting this may be in the understandable climate of frustration, concern and anger that exists at present.

I believe that by next week things will have started to settle down at all levels and there will be a clearer picture of what options and obstacles are in sight for US players.

The grit of US players is showing here - there are clearly many of our US friends who are determined to continue to pursue their pastime of choice, and that demand will be serviced. Care will be necessary because this sort of situation always attracts the bad bastards, but solutions will be presented.

Neteller processed over $7 billion in transactions in 2005 and $5.1 billion in the first half of 2006, mostly from U.S. clients to and from online betting sites.

That's too attractive a market to be left fallow.

Still open . I made a deposit a few minutes ago ..I am going to cashout . This casino pays out overnight so I will post back before I leave for work in the morning to let you all know if it goes through okay .

also locked

I am in AZ, I only use C2P to deposit, so I have no funds tied up, but I too am locked out. Had account for months... after Firepay bailed.
Well I really needed to quit anyway.... is this is what it is like to stop smoking????

The C2P sign up portion of their website was really bogged down yesterday afternoon and last night. I couldn't get past the first page of registration. They must be quite overwhelmed with new accounts right now. I'll wait and see what's up with these lock outs first. Hope you hear something soon. (And I am not encouraged by the lack of customer support.... )

I feel old, tired, angry, and wildly frustrated with this entire situation.
:axeman:

Morning ,
My cashout was there and in my C2P account . It was working smoother too so maybe yesterdays lock outs were some sort of an overload ? I will check again when I get home as I have another one ready to hit my account .

For anyone who signed up and successfully used this service during the last 24-48 hours, how did it go?

Did they call you? Did you fund it with your bank account? or credit card?

The faq's say that they will call you minutes after signing up to verify and assign you 'stars' and set your limits. I never got called. There is also no deposit into my bank account for the funding verification. I'm totally in the dark.

I tried to withdraw from one site to C2P last night but it was denied because I had never deposited with that method before

I assume your C2Pay balance is zero.
You don't have to pre-fund your account, if you would like to deposit, and you have a credit card. Just register the card at C2pay first, then go to the casino cashier, and make a deposit via C2Pay. C2Pay will charge your debit card immediately, and will transfer the amount immediately to the merchant's account (i.e. your casino balance). So pre-funding is not a must, but an opportunity. You have made your first deposit via C2Pay, so you can withdraw your money via C2pay. This way you will have positive Click2Pay balance when you receive the money to your C2Pay account, and this balance might be used in the future for depositing (i.e. without further credit card charge) or can be withdrawn.

With other words, when you deposit via C2Pay, first your Click2Pay balance is used (if there's any), and if it's zero, or less than the amount you wish to deposit, they charge your card. Hope it helps.

I signed up with them yesterday and have yet to hear anything.

I just tried calling the US 1-888 number and got a message stating "This party is not accepting calls at this time".

Wow...that instills a lot of confidence!

This is weird! I just closed my C2P account 3 days ago and they wrote back asking me if I would reconsider and keep my account with them before they closed it. Didn't they see this coming??

Unfortunately I specified my bank account as the default funding option instead of credit card. So I can't do anything until that is verified (haven't seen the token deposit show up yet, it should have shown up by now if they did it when I signed up).

The casinos won't let me withdraw to C2P since I never deposited, otherwise I would have a funded account by now. I don't know why they haven't loosened that rule considering the current situation.

I don't think C2P will be a viable option for US much longer anyways.

Okay my other cashout was deposited to my C2P and then I was able to withdraw to my bank with success . It should hit my bank in a couple days . All seems to be working more normal today.

IM on hold

CLub World depoited my $200 in my C2p account but it's locked!!! Hopefully ll get some help. It took me a long time just to be on hold

still can't get through no email response either

I guess I was lucky I was able to get Jackpot Factory to reverse the payment sent to click2pay.

Good Luck Babs.

That was what I was afraid of. Once my $700 was sent to them I knew I would have no way to access it.

Everyone be careful. This company just locks account on a whim. With no explantation and know way to contact them.

Bad way to run a business

calling them

If you're really having a hard time getting through, then consider using their international phone number. That's what worked for me.

what lying scammers

Oy, they are claiming that I have a returned $20 which is BS because my checking account is linked to my savings acct in which i have overdraft protection and have NEVER bounced anything. I also have a $200 deosit from club world which would cover it but he was very rude and said to check back early next week!! Im peeved. They are scamming me for some reason and refused to let me talk to the supervisor

I am also in a similar situation with another casino and c2p...I'm curious how many other people are experiencing snags like this...my very first deposit with c2p yesterday didnt go right...not a good first impression!

Geez, with so many threads running on this Neteller and payment processors crisis it's difficult to know where to put this, so I've plumped for right here.

I'm getting reports that Moneybookers has backed out of the US market too - can anyone confirm that???

I opened up an MB account yesterday and after the final screen a notice popped up that basically said

"It is our policy that US residents cannot transfer money to/from online casinos, etc. If this is not your intention, you can disregard this notice"

So yes...they don't seem to want any part of the US either.

Did Clikck2Pay used to be good? Because they are terrible right now. I don't know if they are just overwhelmed right now or if they just suck all the time.

Every casino has sent me an email recommending c2p, and there are some juicy bonuses available. If only I could deposit.....

MB hasn't allowed gambling transactions from USA players in months...

Soflat ...they are usually good when you talk to them on the phone . Not so good about answering emails . I have been using them for over a year and the support has always been pretty good until now . I think they are overwhelmed ..it must have been as sudden for them as anyone else .
