So playing slots for a looong time, i changed my strategy heavily if i compare to how i played when i started... Back in the days, i was chasing slots, so that means i invested more and more until i hit the bonus feature (which then often pays crap), these days i feel that changing the slots faster is more rewarding...

I do only a few spins on a slot and if it's cold and doesn't pay anything i switch.... So basically 10-20 spins if nothing great, switch!

I feel (although this could only be psychologically) that this works better, many times i can hit the feature during a few spins, on the other hand how many times have i tried 100-200+ spins on a slot without giving me the feature...

How do you guys play? What is your strategy?

PS: Of course i know in the end it's all random.... :)

Depends on what games i am playing for example..

Dead or alive - chase
reel steal - chase
break the bank again - chase

I used to chase every game when i first started but now i do a quick 10-30 spins at varying bet sizes to see what mood its in.

What has helped me is only allowing myself one deposit a day(50 pound max) at one casino if i double my money my original deposit is withdrawn this way i dont end up losing most days apart from i think it was june where i could not get over my starting balance all month no matter what game i tried.

It was a very long and painful month and by the end of it i had lost the urge to play anymore but i had a good july and this month has been better.

Random

I usually stick with the game I deposited to play unless I win big enough to either move on or make a withdrawal. But if I do hit big on say a netent game then decide to play another slot I will always avoid other netent games at that casino.

It is of course tempting to try to chase a loss something, but most times my sense tells me there are no logical reason to do it as the change of loosing on the next spin is the same even there has been a 1000 consecutive losses. And I get bored of the same slot pretty fast aswell.

Depends on the game indeed and also the provider...

I tend to stay longer on a Netent game because normally they are pretty spot on in FS trigger frequency as where Novomatic and MGS for example can easy take 500-1000 spins at a certain time to trigger a FS round.
WMS can be a biatch too. 2 scatters over and over and over again.

So yeah on Netent I chase,on most other software I try not to do that!
