Casinos With US Player Restrictions

 I not only "wished" they would close it... I DID have them close it..permenantly, and without remorse. Just as I have done with every RTG and Playtech. I consider my online play over if I can't play the software of my choice... which is definitely not either of these two. By the way, I'm in New York.. one of the 11 evil states that even the Devil himself dare not set foot in. Edit: Except for that Devil Hillary Clinton.
Tim, are you a blackjack player?

I've been running stats for the last two weeks at Bodog and am astonished at the crooked play of the RTG software. I've had several sessions (40-100 hands per) at 70% dealer wins, with a blackjack ratio of 5-3 in favor of the house. I'm absolutely stunned. I knew casino software was rigged, but Jesus Christ!

I also pulled out my money after this weekend and will not be back. And I'm loathe to try any other RTGs after this one.

OK I'm unsticking this thread now the accredited list is back up.

NB: Entropay (prepaid Visa) has stopped taking US residents (thanks Cynthia)

Simmo!

You're welcome, Simmo!

Just wanted to add.. Global Player is not taking U.S. players any longer. I was able to sign in, and recently made a deposit (before the official announcement), but for some reason had to check their website today and saw the message about U.S. players. I sent an email to confirm and got this response:

Dear Cynthia,

Firstly, we sincerely apologise for the delay in advising you of the
turn of events concerning U.S. players. An email is being sent out
today to all U.S. players. The website was updated yesterday with this
latest information.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any further deposits from you.
As your account balance is zero your account will be closed.

The Act does NOT make it illegal for US citizens to play online; however
it drastically affects your ability to wager online by making it
difficult to send and receive your deposits and winnings.

As a result of this Act all accounts with US based addresses will no
longer be able to play in the casino. However, ALL other accounts with
NON-US based addresses will remain unaffected.

Currently it is unclear as to the longer term ramnifications of these
events and should the position change, we will notify you immediately.

In the meantime, we continue to maintain that it is your individual
right to be allowed to play online responsibly in another form you see
fit. We therefore invite you to contact your Congressman (or woman) to
express your concerns.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and hope
that the situation will be resolved to allow you to resume playing with
us and continue to enjoy the high levels of service and promotions
offered by Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) .

We take this opportunity to thank you for your custom and we certainly
hope to welcome you back to our casino if and when circumstances change
in the future. Good Luck to you.

Yours sincerely,
Suzanne

Also...the Playtech changes are well underway (just downloaded their new software today). A little confusing since some of their casinos are combining (looks like there won't be a new RTG for Diamond Deal or Twin Aces) as they are joining a couple of the other sister casinos (Slots.com, Sun Palace, Vegas Casino Online, Las Vegas USA, and Festive Bingo will remain, converting to RTG), but their live support is prompt and informative (I had a slew of questions for them). The agent did state that some things may not be fully active yet, but looks like it will be complete by end of day (he said within 5 hrs or so)
