Casinomeister Advent Tournament 2018: 1st week

Yeah. id worked out pelican straight away.. and a book author.. first thing that came to my mind was pelican brief (did a quick search for its author and found i was right)..

I did search oil, drilling, swampland, etc before finally hitting on louisiana. :laugh: Was starting to bug me because i knew the clue but couldn't quite find the correct page.

not sure how 22 letters ties in though
 
I think thats a seperate xmas image to find. I found the b).. theres still a) to find.

all i know is its a bust of some form, but no idea where the 22 letters ties in with the bust. unless my head stops hurting tonight i may leave that one! :laugh:
 
its phoenition casino review. googling 22 letters in an alphabet brings up the 'phoenition' alphabet.

excuse my spelling .. 'phoenician' i meant. lol Had the post typed for the last half hour, but got caught on the phone needing to take a shot of the page pmsl I got to thinking it must have been an alphabet - google search brought it up straight away after searching for 22 letter alphabets of the world, and i recalled seeing a phoenician review yesterday while looking for a clue from yesterday. lol

Bit baffled what the eye is in image 1.. finding that one extemely difficult to find.

Spent hours last night trying to find it - searched for everything from turtle, lizard, reptile, eye - to e.t (for a moment, i thought it was e.t!) but i still can't work it out. It looks like one of those mentioned.. but i can't find it. Ive gone through
the last years worth of pages under online casinos section (being that the other 2 pics were under that section).. but i can't find it. lol driving me mad now wanting to know what it is :laugh:

I thought it was a monster truck wheel and have hunted everywhere for monster trucks lol
 
Haha yknow when i first looked at it, i thought it was a wheel too! :laugh: I saved the image out and loaded it up in photo viewer, rotated it and thought.. oh, its an eye! (the file name actually giving it away).. but then I
couldnt work out what it was!.. it looks like something reptile ,lizard like.. but ive searched the forum for anything related and while i get some results, i check them out but dont find that image.

Ill keep looking but with the site having 10s of thousands of pages, not an easy task unless you work out what it is and its useful as a search term lol

Im guessing each hunt will be mentioned if its site based, or forum based, or both? So, is todays just on the .com .us and .au sites (possibly) ? Or will you say if its completely site-wide (including forum) ? :D

worked out the 2 pictures clues - just need to find them. :D
 
I worked out el dorado for the movie , but searching it on the site isnt bringing much up - the casino review doesnt have the xmas image on it anywhere. (although i went back to it 2 or 3 times incase i missed it :laugh:)

I wonder if its referencing something else like, gold, or city of gold or something.. hmm! :laugh:
 
haha. i think they are all pictures of the santa with 'ho ho ho' on it, with 'merry xmas!' underneath :D (well, apart from those smaller 'snippets' of pics, where you have to find the larger version and url)

I seem to be getting the clues fairly easily - but its finding the link to the page on the site where i struggle or it takes me hours to find it. lol

Ive worked the second image out - but again i can't find anything related to it.. but ill keep looking. :laugh:

Explanation about 312... 'simple' there is a Baccarat type called 'Chemin de Fer' played with 312 Cards :P

I did actually get halfway through the cm/slot related carol task.. but was really busy yesterday with other things and noticed the end time for it was yesterday!. Oh well. lol
