CasinoBlasters (Playtech) not paying winnings

In another thread, I was complaining about three casinos and one poker room in the CasinoBlasters chain not paying around $7000 they owe me. The casinos are FlamingoClub, GrandOnline, MerlinsMagic and the poker room is GoldenPalacePoker.

Someone suggested I start a new thread about this group as I was kinda hijacking another thread with my concerns.

After I won big on a couple of them, they locked all my accounts. After a couple of weeks, they refunded my initial deposits only. I emailed them many times but all emails were ignored.

I just spent 45min on the phone to the US (I live in Australia) and spoke to their security department. The guy was spoke to was really nice but he seemed to think I was part of "a fradulent group operating in my area" (his words). I assured him I wasn't part of any such group and had no intention of defrauding his casinos, explaining that I wasn't really understanding how that could even be possible, with all the security measures and technological advancements. I am certainly borderline computer illiterate and certainly didn't hack into their casinos or anything. I just got lucky and won a few thousand dollars at a few of them.

He ended the conversation by telling me they would continue the investigation and if they find a link between me and this fraudulent group, I would not get paid. I was extremely happy to hear this, as I am certainly not linked with any criminal group of any kind out to rip them off. I just thought all their casinos were offering amazing deals so I deposited in them trying to get lucky (fully expecting to lose my deposit at most, if not each one). Instead, I got lucky at three and was really happy! I have to ring him back in a week and take it from there.

So there is hope! My biggest concern is that this fraudulent team is going to cost me my winnings which I won fair and square. I'm not sure if he means that Australian players have all been blacklisted - but Australia is a pretty big "area" (20 million people). It would be devastatingly unfair if I don't get paid because there is some criminal team out there trying to rip casinos off. I'm still not really sure how anyone can "defraud" them and the security dude wouldn't tell me when I asked.

I will be the first to admit I played at all the casinos because of the amazing deals they were offering. I never did anything illegal and I followed all the terms and conditions. I have done nothing wrong so to lose out on this money which I thought I'd won would devastate me obviously.

I followed Bryan's advice and filed a complaint with Playtech but the security dude said they don't answer to Playtech so there was no point really in doing that.

I'll keep everyone updated on how this turns out. If I lose all this money, I might never gamble online again.

I sure hope you didn't cancel the complaint with Playtech just on the word of one "security dude." If you did, refile it ... let Playtech be the one to tell you the casino doesn't answer to them.

I used to work for a bank and would understand in any situation that they would want to check a few things due to you winning on 3 casinos. I would go nuts if it took so long and would most probably take it as a personal insult only because I know I did not do anything wrong.

Should the situation call for an investigation I would agree with you about the 'technological advances' which should get this resolved quickly in order to stay sane. Especially where there is a 'quite' a few bucks on the line...

I agree with Macgyver when he says you should keep Playtech in the loop.

Best of luck with this... ;)

Bullshit. What you need to do is to file a complaint with Playtech, to include that comment.

Rule #1: Get everything that they say to you in writing. Never ever ever ever make agreements over the phone, or even chat sessions. You should also ask this security dude to make this statement via email and forward it to me. I'll be meeting with some of the Playtech people next week in Montreal and I'd like to present this to them. I'd like to see what they have to say about that. :D

oh my god!!!!, what JHV was told, was what i was just told about 20 mins ago by the guy at the golden palace group.

now i'm fuming, because when i was told there was a fraudulent gang operating in my area, i thought maybe there was and i was unlucky in getting caught up in it, and that it was just a case of proving my innocence. but it seems like everyone is getting this excuse. because i live in the UK and this guy lives in australia, so it must one very big gang golden palace are investigating

Bwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

:D :D :D :D :D

It gets no better than that.

Golden Palace have spent so much on sabotaging sporting events and abusing babies, they're running out of money

Oh, poetic justice.

Unfortunately, it seems that stupid stunts generate more publicity and hence profit than treating the players fairly. If we could get enough money together we could have a baby named "Golden Palace screws players". :)

It looks like it's just another shady group of casinos trying to rewrite the English language:

"Bonus abuse" (for them) = playing by the terms of a promotion at one of their casinos - and winning
"Fraud" = playing in the same way at all of the casinos in a group - oh, and winning

Let's hope they do the right thing and pay out all the money owed. If they want to change their promotions or ban players from future play they're welcome. Pocketing the deposits of those who lost and not paying winnings to those who won is fraud.

This just seems odd. I know a lot of you hate the GP group because of their advertising methods, but they seem to be pretty reliable to me on payouts.....
I was never really bothered with the advertising, but they took 3-4 weeks to pay out by cheque (if you used GBP) and usually didn't respond to e-mails, so I'd put them in the borderline rogue category anyway. That said, they always did pay in the end.

Hallo

I have the same problem with this group! They owe me 3616 usd . I won at some of the casinos in the group 29-05-2005 but have still not received my deposits or winnings. They have received my scanned information but still no money! I talked to the support and they think there is a gang in germany that cheats them. I have fulfilled the t&c 100 %. They do not answer mails anymore. Mabye I also have to file a complaint at playtech..??

Same problem here. I have been contacted by a player who signed up through my affiliate link. He told me golden palace is the only casino of the blasters group he has an account with. His account has been locked after he made a withdrawal.

I would be cautious with casino blasters at the moment. As mentioned before they have never had any issues with non-payments but the current situation is a bit worrying.

This group has a history of shady behavoir with cashins and advertising. As a player at these casinos I was the victim of delayed payments and absurd claims. This thread as well as many others should be a warning to all players to stay far away from these casinos. I have provided a list of them below:

grand online
golden palace
24k gold
flamingo club
staronline
Aspinalls
Bugsy Online
Golden Dragon Casino
Casino Depot
Online Vegas Casino
Grand Riviera
Triple Win
Merlins Magic
the Six Shooter
Top Card
Go Casino

My advice is to stay away from these casinos for past rogue acts and current ones.

The conduct by this chain is even more disgraceful than it appears. Not only are they not paying players the winnings on the grounds that someone else in the same country has won, but the other casinos in the same chain where the player lost, keep the money also. A player who plays all 13 in the chain might lose $100 in 12 casinos and win $ 800 in the 13th. This last club will refund his deposit only while the other 12 keep the $100. Casinoblasters then alleges fraud and makes a $1200 profit by doing so. The chain as a group are therefore keeping over 90% of the deposits. This casino group is NOT returning the initial deposits, only the initial deposits on accounts that won. I think it might be time for casinoblasters be to pay up immediately or be rogued.
I would guess that every single person not paid in one of the casinos lost in others in the chain, hence every single person has made an outright loss to this chain

I understand people had some problems in the past, but has anyone not been paid, except for this person, recently? I have been getting cashouts in about 3 days like clockwork recently. Knock on wood, of course, since I have some large withdraws pending, but only from the last few days. I have had good experiences at the group all around.

Re: CasinoBlasters group

The following is a repetition from a post before a few days as it is more appropriate here:

Dear JHV,
I agree with Vesuvio unfortunately. I have heard most negative comments around about this group. Personally I opened an account at Golden Palace just to have fun with the bonus and play all at slots (no primary game for me but the bonus is huge with neteller and thought to join just to have fun), but before I deposit, I sent them my documents so that my account is verified beforehand.
They never responded! Even after I re-wrote them, no voice! Amazing! They are probably "afraid" of cautious players!?!
I cant even imagine that they would answer in the rare case of me winning something out of progressive slots. If they dont need new players 1 time, I dont need them 100 times.
7000 is a lot. Just dont get disappointed from the many horror stories you will receive, try to find some constructive advise.
Place also a customer complaint at the playtech.com site itself. (it has helped me once indirectly). Good luck.

there should be something wrong

as you can see all the decent casinos change their bonus and terms every day makes hard for players to cash out but this group and oyster gaming stays same with 4x wagering and 8x and also increases bonus but they dont pay which one is better this will what happen if they offer %300 bonus with 4x wagering one cheats other doesnt pays its that easy

If the above is true. I would quit playing there full stop. There are enough reputable casinos around that pay out your winnings within a week if not shorter. Make sure you get your winnings and then close your account.

Casino Blasters Update

I spent half an hour on the phone with their security department today. The lady I spoke to admitted they should have done more research before locking my accounts and said she'll have a final answer on whether they'll pay me my winnings by the end of today. So fingers crossed!!!

I actually believe they are trying to be ethical, but are going about it ALL the wrong way. I don't believe any casino should ever withhold winnings from customers who follow all their terms and conditions. If they believe that their promotion is so generous that they leave themselves open to "advantage players", surely they have two options:
1. Make the promotion less generous.
2. Prevent existing customers from opening new accounts within their group (i.e. one Casino Blasters account per customer).

Offering a promotion with terms and conditions - and then withholding winnings from players who follow those terms and conditions is just not right, in my opinion. This should simply NOT be an option for them to consider.

I wouldn't have considered myself an "advantage player" before all this started (I first heard of the term on this site) - however if I see an online casino offering a 200% bonus with 4x playthrough requirement, its pretty hard to not have a crack at it.

I'll let everyone know how this turns out tomorrow. I will be very surprised and disappointed if they refuse to pay. My hopes will then hang on our good Meister, Playtech, and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and hope that sanity prevails.

AxelB, they just tell me a different story every time I call them.

Everytime I ring up, I have to speak to a different security agent, and each time I finish the long conversation with a different impression. The last guy I spoke to on Thursday gave me the impression that everything was going to be fine. He also said he would send me an email that day with a final decision so I wouldn't have to keep ringing up over and over again.

It is now Monday and he hasn't sent me anything and I've received no payment of winnings.

I'm calling them up again today but to tell you the truth, I am finding it very hard to remain calm when dealing with these guys - as they just tell you one thing, and then do another. I've been lied to over and over by various agents.

Hopefully my lack of research won't come back and haunt me. I wish I had found this thread sooner. I've played many of the casinos discussed in this thread and I'm currently waiting on cashouts from a number of them. It's been 2.5 week for 24kgold, flamingo and Go and a week and a half for about four others. I played the non-cashable bonus at each place. I finished up a little bit at each. I have one big win of about $700 at one but otherwise my cashouts are around $200.

How long should I wait to call or email them? They seem to be up to stalling but it sounds like in the end they pay.

It's also worth noting that many of these places no longer off ther non-cashable 200% bonus.
