Casino Rewards dubious practice?

I am quite concerned by a situation that has just occurred having deposited at Lucky Emperor Casino.

Having received an offer of a free #10 and 100% match bonus, which I assumed I received due to be registered with you from opening an account with Yukon Gold, I duly deposited #100. I then telephoned customer support to confirm the deposit and later received an e-mail confirming my entitlement to #10 and #100 which was now at Casino Rewards. At no time throughout this time was I told anything other than my eligability for the promotions.

However when I accessed Casino Rewards and pressed the link to transfer the funds to Lucky Emperor, a message appeared stating that I was not to receive the promised funds as I had previously not risked my own money?!?!

I checked and saw that I had previously played on Yukon Gold and won, but was not aware of doing anything restricted or dubious.

As far as I can see it looks like I have been enticed into depositing and then denied a bonus on the basis of winning at another casino.

''Thank you for contacting Casino Rewards Support.

Please be advised that under the casino promotional Terms & Conditions you are currently not eligible to redeem any further VIP points. Whilst you may see VIP points available for redemption in your Casino Rewards account, these points will not be released until you demonstrate a serious intention to play, deposit & wager at the casino in accordance with the Casino?s promotional Terms & Conditions:

In the event that the casino deems a player to have misused a casino account for the exploitation of promotional offers, without ever demonstrating any degree of risk with personal funds or serious intention to play, the redemption of all such promotional offers, including but not limited to sign-up bonuses, will be suspended until until such times as the player demonstrates a playing history whereby a risk of personal funds is periodically demonstrated at the casino.

In the event that your account reflects a true desire to play, wager and risk personal funds, not solely in accordance with promotional offers, but over a period of time, the casino may, at its discretion, review your account and reverse this decision.

Please note, neither the Casino nor the Casino Support team is able to provide you with specific guidance with regard to the steps necessary to lift the suspension of points redemption.

Kind Regards,

Dugald''

Hmmmm...so send me the promise of a bonus then only tell after I've deposited that I'm not going to get because I've played and won at another of their casinos.

Now if I could use false promises in the advertising for my business I'm sure I could make alot of money before I was shut down!

Now I'm just praying that they pay back my winnings that I won wiith risk to my own money. Although I thought that I WAS risking my own money when I deposited for a bonus at Yukon Gold?!?!?!

Sorry to hear

This group has problems periodically. If you want to pursue the bonus, I would pitch a bitch. If you just want your money back, please do other players a favor and post this at all the varous player forums. I think you will get your winnings.

You never know when a newbie will show up so your postings can help. I only recommend this casino to bonus hunters and sophisticated players. This is no place for recreational gamblers. Even sophisticated players should sign up through a watchdog site.

They are not a member of eCOGRA so there is no committment to their standards, as with other MG casinos who are seal holders.

imho,
Stanford.

If you play for a bit with your money that is deposited, they will then let you take advantage of the bonus. 2-3 k in wr should suffice. I don't think it's such a bad system that they have in place to prevent bonus whoring. It's better than them banning players for taking advantage of bonuses and moving on.

I'm sure I'll get my legitimate winnings, and there is no way to force a casino to give you a bonus, but if this type of advertising was in any other type of business it would not be allowed.

The good news is that the UK government is keen to get internet casino business registered here, so there should be some good incentives in the future, but companies like this one may well be shooting themselves in the foot now.

Start the echo today. Post your experience at Winners On Line and the new Players Union. It is always good to add to the rap sheet. Reneging on a bonus is not a good thing.

I am not sure of other forums. Maybe some posters here might have suggestions. Might wait and get paid first.

Casino Rewards

I have had my account likewise locked. Basically in the fine print they will mention that bonus is only entitled at one CR casino though they give you the credit on your CR account and the minute you take it you will be locked.

I had my account locked and the pending bonus is on "comps".

They will pay and you need to move on.

Plenty of other sites without the hassle.

Is this true?

I've got about $120 locked up at CR. I assumed it was just dross.

But if there's some way I could get at it, I'd love to try.

The weird thing they keep soliciting me, even though they have no intention of honoring their offers.

By the way, it looks like CR installs spyware, as well. (Googe "casinorewards")
