I am throwing myself on the mercy of all you PC wunderbar whizz kids out there as I am <thisfar> from throwing this wretched PC out of the window.

The PC is running on Windows 7 64-bit, and all the software and drivers are up-to-date, including Flash Player, Java, Graphics card, Shock Player, etc, as Windows automatically updated everything for me about two days ago. Thanks Windows! :(

HOWEVER, since the update, when I access Gala Casino, although the games are fine, there are grey spaces instead of text on the banking page where obviously there is meant to be a radio button, or something. There cursor doesn't show there is a button either, just remaining as an arrow.

I have to access the flash casino to add funds to my account, so it is just something in the download casino.

And when I try to download Dash, on the Getting Started icon, there is no text at all, just the big red button in the centre, which from memory is meant to have the text 'Install' in it.

And yet, when I click on the Dash Flash Casino, all the text and radio buttons are there, and usable.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening? This Fruit is losing its Juice very quickly indeed.

If a clean re-install fails try turning off all addons in your default browser. There has been a recent flash player update try rolling back, also your security suite could be blocking something.

Again, thanks very much for the suggestions, but unfortunately nothing works, and it has got even worse. Iplayer is now telling me I need Javascript enabled, when it already is,and YouTube is a black hole of nothingness.

I think it could be back to the default factory backups tomorrow and reload the entire system.

Yw, could be a corrupted flash player update install, I have created a thread showing how to do a thorough Java cleanse and re-install,

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/51222/

Have you tried a system restore?.

Before such drastic action, try a removal and reinstall of Flash, JAVA, and whatever browser you are using. After uninstalling, but before you begin the reinstall, use something like ccleaner or the free version of Advanced System Care.

An important thing to do BEFORE uninstalling the browser is to download the latest version so that you can reinstall it. You won't be able to navigate to the download site without a browser installed. I have done this a couple of times. Having done this, reinstall the casinos.

The recent Flash update corrected a duff update that they pushed out that caused problems for some users on some sites.

Resolved - ish!

Wow - brilliant link. I learned things about Java I never knew before.

BUT...no go.

So in desperation I went back to my factory default backups. No real biggie in the end as I didn't have much on the PC other than my casinos and a few personal files.

Hours later, after the restore finished, I uploaded Avast and Online Amor from my USB stick. I then checked the version of Flash Player my PC had come with - 10.3.181.34. And that is the version I am sticking with - if I go near v11 then you have my permission to shoot me (with apologies to Sir Steven Redgrave for nicking his quote!). I am convinced that was the root of all this evil.

However, the minute I logged onto the Internet, along came Microsoft with thousands of updates it wanted me to install, included v11 for FlashPlayer...not in this lifetime, Microsoft.

Microsoft now has to ask me before installing anything, so the hijacking that took place and destroyed my system won't happen again.

So everything is working....Gala, Dash, YouTube, BBC Iplayer (none of this ..... you need Javascript enabled malarkey) so I am one happy little Juicy Fruit.

Thanks very much everyone for all your help.

And to show my appreciation, I give to you one Wally De Backer, aka Gotye. This is one of the best songs EVER! IMHO of course. :D

I don't think it is good to ignore MS updates for windows.. They release the updates because their system is faulty.. Just remove the flash player from the update but update microsoft stuff other wise your computer is like stealing candy from a baby when it comes to spyware and virus.

Just don't update your flash version of that corrupts the games.

If you get spyware they can empty your accounts and I would say that that is worse than not being able to play :)
