Casimba - Withdrawl Sent To Discontinued Account

7.3 • All withdrawals will be paid back to the same payment method used to make a deposit on the account.

Ask them why they are in breach of their T&C's
Maybe it's the old school to where they can push monies back to any card used over the account, a little pointless if the card has expired though.
Op did you send over copy of card, you maybe able to find this, then know which it is ?????

Sent this, part of the copied chat....

" All withdrawals will be paid back to the same payment method used to make a deposit on the account."

and i had not used that credit card in years....

so they need to get my money to the deposit method i had used for the last months card 8750

i have no access to this other credit card and dont even know which bank it is"

But they arent interested, just the usual....

"We request that you kindly refer and respond to the email sent to you on 25/01/2021 19:26:45. You would need to speak to your bank in this regard."

Keep telling them to help identify it but they wont...

Another point at looked at my transactions, I have used my card ending 8750 for at least the last 12 months, depositing most weeks with that and nothing else....last time I withdrew it went straight to card 8750...

28/10/2020 11:56£478.9718121660844

No problem, so why months later when I have still been depositing with 8750 and make this withdrawl

18/01/2021 10:53£1,045.0019493577625

This is for some reason sent to a card 1763 which I haven't used in years! and I 100% pressed withdraw to card 8750 as Casimba lets you do this...

I am been punished for someones error, all I can hope for now is the reps help?

I have Colin, to their email accounts aswell, but they just keep bouncing back saying I have to get in touch with the card 1763 bank, I don't know who they are and hadn't used it in years...they are not holding any responsibility, just ignoring the T & C point.

Finally tracked it down myself from an old text from....Vanquis, this is an account I defaulted on when I lost my job and am paying them back monthly via direct debit.

He acknowledged they have the Casimba £1045, but from joy to despair as they are ringing me back tomorrow on whether they will give me it back as it may be used against the debt, great...I am already agreeing to pay the debt off and this was totally wrongly sent by Casimba.

I just know they will say they are keeping it ;(

I suspect you are now screwed mate weather you have a payment arrangement are not with vanquis they will keep the payment and wipe it off your debt..
Possible to appeal to their nicer side but yeah, likely they'll just swallow it up.

Some folk were caught short with off setting going on if you owed money and think there were some successes in, if you claimed in doing so, would put you in financial hardship: Covid season, so they may relax previously stringent approaches given the current climate: worth a shot.

Think i heard about a few folk having their PPI cheque used to settle defaulted debts from the same bank etc.

yeah, this is right.
Not a chance Vanquis will return it.
If it were me I would go for the casino, stating they deliberately sent it to the wrong account and as such they should pay again.
Can't see it being easy though as customer service is terrible.

I know mate but as I said I had the same sort of issue all beit I withdrew to an expired card which was my error as I clicked the wrong card option.
On asking Cs how I was allowed to withdraw to card which was not my latest payment method they just went radio silent via email followed 18 hrs later by another email telling me it had been processed to the correct card and the expired card had been deleted.
So if it is the case their systems allowed a withdrawal to a, method which wasn't his latest deposit method and that money is now lost surely they have some responsibility here??

You play at the Dazzletags casino's?

Careful if you've two cards on there - i had two cards registered on there, used one (one time) and then the other one for the next 30 deposits. Last week i was moaning to their chat the w/d hadn't hit the a/c etc and noticed they'd put it back to the first card, one time deposit, one - didn't make a difference to me, unlike the OP's case, mind you. But still.

Gutted as i've now spoke to about the 10th person on chat and their email, none of them accept its their fault even thought ive used card 8750 for past 12 months depositing nearly every week! and my last withdraw went to that aswell, they are saying I chose 1763 credit card which I 100% did not...not used that in years.

...and as you say I fully expect Vanquis to refuse return of my £1045, so what a disgraceful state of affairs, I lose the £1045 through no fault of my own, I guess the rep @WhiteHatGaming is my last hope but not heard anything.

Hey everybody! :)

Believe it or not, I don't know anyone from this casino group. Nor I don't know all WHG brands and their reps :D
But what I will try is to connect with them and see if they want to work with us and help of course :)

Cannot see how your losing £1045 its paying a debt, I know that's not what you want but surely that's a good chunk removed.

There is a WHG rep here? @WhiteHatGaming
It should really be him who looks at this as the casinos don't handle the payments, thats WHG.

Do you owe more than that on the card?
Presumably you have checked if there were unfair charges/PPI etc on it? How old is the account? Are you paying Vanquis direct or a DCA? Vanquis have a habit of selling the debt fairly quickly and if the debt isn't owned by them anymore then they should pay you, they don't have the right to pay a third party company without your consent.

Aceking I am paying it monthly with what I can afford, these are winnings that I attained and were wrongly sent to an account I assumed closed not by me, but by error at Casimba...having used the same card for 12 months+ no way should this have gone there...

Its a few years old Colin and I am paying Moorcroft monthly, yes they sold it on, but it was Vanquis I spoke to today who have the money and are ringing me back tomorrow....

Also, might be worth looking at the fact it was a credit card, I can't remember from the top of my head what the rules are for withdrawals but might be worth looking at the UKGC rules, I'll have a look later or tomorrow when I get time if you can't find them. I know some casinos said if you wanted to withdraw to one you only had xx days to do so, not sure if that was a casino decision or part of the UKGC rules. If it was the UKGC then Casimba shouldn't have processed it.

Have you got the letters from that time?
Have a look and see if it assigned or sold to them?
