Question Can energy casino set minimum bet for individual games??

Just deposited a small amount at Energy casino as a test run

Started of at the novomatics
It seems that each novo game as a minimum stake

Lord of the Ocean 1p per line =10p stake Great i then tried Captain Venture Minimum stake 4p per line = 40p per stake with the minus line button greyed out
It seemed a bit odd

I can't play Novo anymore, but I believe the minimum line bet on Lord of the Ocean and Book of Ra was 4c last time I played. I could be wrong but I think the lowest stake was then 20c with 5 lines active.

I've seen this sort of thing on Bell Fruit Casino as well. On some games you can bet the minimum per line (0.01), yet on others they won't go lower than 0.04 for example. I like to try new games on low stakes to see what they are like. I don't want to be forced to play at 0.04 x 10 lines, especially when you consider how volatile most Novomatic games are. You can burn through £50.00 in no time. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it all. Dolphin's Pearl starts at 0.01 per line, yet Lucky Lady's Charm, which is exactly the same starts at 0.02. Why? Just allow 0.01 as the minimum line bet on everything and let players find their level for crying out loud

The casino can configure whatever minimum or maximum stakes they choose. Obviously they fancy a higher minimum on the higher volatility games, for obvious reasons.

I see nothing wrong with it, there are plenty of establishments beyond gambling that enforce minimum spend rules. Their house, their rules.

As frustrating as it is for you jumpedupcustard, it's hardly "scummy" behaviour. Energy are a great casino and well worth playing at for many reasons, but if their rules aren't to your taste there are plenty more great casinos to choose from

Nothing odd about it at all a casino can set min / max bets to what they want. And personally I dont think 40p a spin is hardly over the top. Energy casino are a really good outfit
and not scummy in anyway. But if the min bets are to you liking you can just choose another casino that suites you better. Very easy
