I deposited $100 and received a $100 bonus in order to play BJ. Having reached a balance of $300 and having wagered $1.000, I discovered that I should have played on slots in order to meet the casino's wagering requirements and be allowed to cash-out.

I have never played anything but BJ, and slots have never appealed to me, so I tried a withdrawal of my initial deposit of $100 and expected that my winnings and bonus just were forfeited.

But, my withdrawal request was denied. So, I sent an email to casino with the following comments:

"I thought I could withdraw my deposit and forfeit the bonus and my winnings? I have probably done a mistake here, I only know how to play BJ, have no experiences with Slots or any other games. Another way for you is to remove the bonus and the winnings so far, so that I can start all over again with only my initial depost, playing BJ, and even comply with the same wagering requirements. Doesn't this sound fair?"

I received the folllowing satisfying answer:
"The Promotions Department has looked into your issue and they have agreed to do an huge exception this time only. We will remove the bonus balance in your account and only leave your original deposit in your account. Please remember you must wager your deposit at least once on any game prior to cash out. Please make sure you read our Terms and Conditions for any other limitation that may apply.

Thanks for being part of BreakAway Casino and we apologize for any inconvenience.

I then played on, and I probably wagered 5-6 times my deposit and didn't really care if I lost the cash, I was just pleased by their service and good will. After an hour I could cash out $201 but was a bit reluctant, wondering if the casino would accept my withdrawal.

22 hours later the cash was on my Neteller account!

GOD, I wish that most casinos would give the same decent service.

I simply have to recommend this casino!

yes they ask at least once play player's deposit.(same sci-fi casino)
anyway you already played sufficiently blackjack isn't it?
or it was bonus money played?

I dont know why this casino should be recommended.

there are many casinos allow cash out players money
even thogh nothing played.

As I have described, I was supposed to wager on slots, but started playing BJ after the bonus was received. Their terms said that I was to wager their requirements on slots before I was allowed to cash-out.
At the end I was allowed to continue playing BJ, of course the bonus and my winnings so far was removed, so I think they gave me a fair deal.

What do you feel was so fair about it? They took back the bonus, kept your winnings, and still made you wager your deposit 1x on something other than BJ before you could cash out. Doesn't sound to me like they did you any favor.

huh!!!? i would feel ripped off if I received such treatment and she feels like praising them - has the world turned flat

Bruce..they allowed her/him to start over, without the bonus. All on BJ.
Most places would have told her/him "you have to play on slots to meet WR" period. They would not have taken bonus out, and let her/him start over on the org. dep.

Then they told her/him to play at least 1x dep. on anything before cashing out, most places don't let you cash out your dep. right after you dep, without playing. ( I know there are some out there that do, but I played online bingo for yrs before casinos, and bingo places don't let you cashin and then out without playing)
I think that halsnes was trying to make the point that they have good customer service, if they were willing to help halsnes out after halsnes made a mistake and didnt' read the T&C about the bonus. They could have been a real "butt" about the whole thing. We have seen T&C problems here before, I think this is a first where a casino helped a player who made a mistake.

I see your points, but I still don't feel halsnes received any great exception or favor from the casino... A true "favor" would've been taking the bonus and allowing halsnes to keep the winnings along with the deposit, and attached 1x WR on the amount.

I have played around for 5 years now and have done similar mistakes before (not reading the T&C good enough), but have always had to comply with the strict requirements. This is the first time I have experienced some "grace".

On the other hand, I can agree with you. Of course I should be able to withdraw my deposit at any time, at any casino, but then also lose bonus and winnings if I didn't comply with the wagering requirements. In some casinos you will even be banned if you try this. T&Cs are normally not fair.
