It's the end of the month and no spending money so yep, you guessed it, I was bored. I deposit at this casino and began a chat. As it went on I became curious as how they credit bonuses so I asked. Thought I'd share with you all..

Paula welcome to the Support Desk. An Operator will be with you shortly.
Jake : Good day Paula, you've come through to Jake. How can I help you?
Paula : hi jake. my account number is xxx
Jake : How can I assist?
Paula : i'm not sure if i am eligable for any bonuses but i havnt heard from you guys in awhile so thought i'd check
Paula : hope you don't mind
Jake : I need to confirm the following for security purposes:
Jake : 1)Full names 2)Date of birth 3)Registered e-mail address 4)Physical address
Paula : this
Paula : that
Paula : the other thing
Jake : Please hold for a minute for me while I investigate this query.
Paula : thank you
Jake : Paula I checked on this account, and it would require a few more purchases before I could credit any Free Money bonus.
Paula : ok ty
Jake : I can however suggest the 150% Sign-up Match at xxxxx on your first purchase up to $100.
Paula : could you tell me how much i've purchased this year
Jake : Please hold.
Paula : ty
Jake : In total you you have purchased $2497.74 this year thus far.
Paula : ok, sorry to bother you but I am curious. how much have you given me in bonus credits this year?
Jake : We have credited you $267.79.
Paula : so that is a little over 10%. is that the norm?
Jake : From the Support desk side it is roughly 10% that we are allowed to credit. The Marketing Company has higher Purchase Match offers that they e-mail players.
Paula : ok, i understand, i think. lol
Paula : thank you for your help jake.
Paula : i don't get these email offers
Paula : and i click the promos but don't receive any results
Paula : so i am stuck at 10% unless i deposit more. is that right?
Jake : I will notify the Marketing Company for you Paula.
Paula : ok, no problem. i was just curious
Jake : Hopefully they will start e-mailing you Purchase Match offers soon.
Paula : you've been very helpful and i won't take up any more of your time.
Paula : have a great night. :)
Client has left the session.

Yes, a sister casino. I didn't even get into that one. I may have to re-visit.

Yes, I think your cashout % would definitely come into play....exactly how, not sure :)

Be wary of taking a SUB at a sister casino. Many groups won't allow this...especially the JPF group.

Sorry, I should have been up front about the group. Not JPF. It's Fortune. Either way, I wouldn't collect a bonus at another casino but would have to check what the intentions here were.

Fortune is a good group IMO.

If you weren't in the USA I'd say keep switching casinos and get at least 100% bonus on nearly every deposit - like I've been doing for 7 years. But I know it's a lot harder for you guys - less casinos to choose from & the banking difficulties. :(
If you're a slots player & have eWallet I would suggest looking at all the Rival casinos. Otherwise your best option is look at other MG's & see if any are more generous...

Good luck!

10%:what:

That's tighter than Grand Prive:D

I am shocked that an EXTERNAL MARKETING COMPANY has greater powers to comp players than the casino itself:what:

I am assuming this is Fortune Lounge, correct me if there is another "Fortune" group.

I receive promo Emails from Fortune Lounge, but these are NOT for "deposit match" offers, but for weekly draw offers, usually deposit & play any amount for the chance of winning something.

Maybe the action here is too low to progress up the loyalty ladder, higher status is SUPPOSED to get you better offers, but it didn't for me. It was the same whether I was Platinum or "member", same as with Grand Prive.

So long as there are other casinos available with better offers, go there instead.

I suspect that MG casinos that run these MG "tournaments" are less likely to offer standard deposit match offers, as some of the budget has to bankroll the "free" tournaments, and the really big promos. Fortune Lounge is currently running one of their big promos, and Jackpot Factory (also mentioned) seem heavily into running these MG tournaments, and currently have a 500,000K series of tournaments running - the money has to come from somewhere.

I'm not. They will have a specific 'budget' to use as they see fit to increase player acquisition/retention... Essentially, they'll have a 'pot' of money set aside that the casino support won't have access to... certainly a CS Support agent wont have access to anyhoo.

I think I've mentioned this before, I'd love to see a casino exec post vague details on how they categorise players and the percentage comps etc involved... I bet internally it's like the famous doctor acronyms that they've been using on customer notes for years - but are only just reaching the public domain:

(From the BBC)

CTD - Circling the Drain (A patient expected to die soon)
GLM - Good looking Mum
GPO - Good for Parts Only
TEETH - Tried Everything Else, Try Homeopathy
UBI - Unexplained Beer Injury

and my all time favourite...

"Pumpkin Positive, which refers to the implication that a penlight shone into the patient's mouth would encounter a brain so small that the whole head would light up"

:D:D

I guarantee the casino industry internally will have similarly derogatory player classifications.
