I know a fine gentleman that makes a ton of $'s by:

signs up with many casinos under various names then plays just enough hands to qualify to collect the sign-up bonus and then cashes out with any profit from playing but what he's mostly after is collecting the SIGN-UP money.

I'm fixen to start playing and would like to know if that's the way the majority of people play or
do you make money by USING SKILL/LUCK TO BEAT THE DEALER

WOULD APPRECIATE IMPUT CONCERNING THIS TOPIC

side note (been trying to contact you)

joedog, I cannot think of a better way for a person to be able to assure themselves that they will not be paid anything from any Casino that they attempt to scam in this manner. Have a good one.

thanks for the reply, THAT WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT

I met this fellow on the web... A SUPER NICE GUY and i believe his system works.,We have even spoke on the phone. However: he did mention that it took 30 days sometimes to get his money.

I saw a blackjack book advertised on the web and one of the chapters was indeed............. "INTERNET BONUS HUSTLING"

He has been VERY NICE in helping me get educated before i jump in and loose my #$%,,, however I was taken-a-back when he explained how he did it.

He seemed to think it was ridiculus to play any other way. If you dont mind me asking do you beat the dealers and make money (not relying on bonus)

ANYBODY ELSE HAVE OPINION ON THIS

Joedog its' a rare day in deed that I take a bonus from a casino. In my opinion bonuses will be the death of this industry if things don't change soon.

Yes I manage to do well without bonuses but in playing Blackjack only. Have a good one.

It is important to realize that the house is always going to win out in the end so bonuses help to level the playing field. One thing is certain though, if you do choose to play with a bonus make sure you fully understand all the terms of such bonus and strictly adhere to them. In doing this you can avoid any problems you may incurr by using bonuses. As well make sure to do a thorough backround check of a casino before depositing and accepting a bonus. There are many casinos out there that will void winnings if they do not like the way that you play with their bonuses so make sure you only accept bonuses from casinos that have a good reputation. The casinos listed on this site are all casinos that you can trust and a good staring point for any new player.

Hi Joedog

Do take note of what cipher & thesmacker say.

If your friend really recommends:
'signs up with many casinos under various names'

Thats the worrying part, to do so would be bonus abuse pure and simple and you'd get what you deserve. You cannot have multiple accounts with any one casino and claim multiple bonuses therefore. You can claim a sign up bonus once from each casino but you will have to prove your identity in each case, to varying degrees with each casino.

However:
- 'then plays just enough hands to qualify to collect the sign-up bonus and then cashes out with any profit from playing but what he's mostly after is collecting the SIGN-UP money.'

Essentially nothing wrong with the theory but as many have experienced before some casinos are more genuine with such bonus offers than others.

There is money to be made this way just as it is possible to win in a 'straight fight'. Like many I would guess, I have done and still do both. But be assured that getting a bonus and playing purely to keep it is not 100% foolproof.

Best of luck.

vgvhnji(above poster)

if you have multiple computers and multiple funding accounts you can hit the same casino for their sign up bonus.

It seems like a lot of time and effort to me.

Call me lazy but what I invisioned is playing BJ in a "straight fight" against the dealer and using knowledge/skill/luck to win a few bucks. And if there is a bonus involved even better, but mostly would like to just beat the casinos.}

"Hi Joedog

Do take note of what cipher & thesmacker say."
-vgyhnji

Im still looking for the part where I said not to take bonuses? I know my opinion is useless compared to your infinite knowledge but to tell a new player to abuse bonuses, and disregard the advice to do homework on what casinos to play would seem like some fairly reckless and unhelpful advice yourself vgyhnj.
Bottomline Joedog, bonus hustling is a decent way to make a quick buck, so long as you know that the casinos your playing have a good rep. Some casinos offer very good bonuses but in the end will not pay you if you just play the minimum wagering requirements, a point that vgyhnji is telling you to ignore. So bonus hunt to your hearts content as its true you can make money, but be educated on the casinos you choose to play or else you could have some costly lessons.

Don't try it joedog, you will get caught sooner or later. There are enough casinos out there that you can get a bonus from that you don't need to double/triple dip for signup bonuses by using multiple accounts and multiple names, etc. This is known as FRAUD plain and simple.

Once you get caught, your name will be shared with others in that group and you will be personna non grata at many casinos and the casinomeister and other reputable player advocates will not help you recover your lost money. Depending on how many times you ripped off their group, the casino may even confiscate your deposit(s). Its basically a bad gamble.

Play it straight, follow ALL the rules and beat them at their own games by playing games that have very low or even negative house edge like some Videopoker games (9/6 jacks or better, or full pay deuces wild which can payback 100.3% or better in some cases), blackjack if its allowed, even paigow poker is a fairly even money game when played right (play to push, not win when doing bonus wagering). And be polite when dealing with casino support, it definately helps.

Please don't get the wrong impression!!!

It just so happened that the first person I met was a "very nice" bonus hunter and I wonderd if that was the norm.

The reson I started this thread was to find out if all you vets out there were making a profit by beating the dealer or grabbing bonuses....

I'd like to believe that if one sharpens his knowledge and skills he can make money regardless if there is a bonus involved.

So... dont get the impression that I plan on scamming for bonus money. Quite the opposite.

Hi Joedog,

And welcome to the forum. They guy you met may have been very nice, but what he is doing (opening multiple accounts at the same casino, etc.) is player fraud. A lot of players have a BIG problem with this since activities such as your friend's has created a headless monster: cryptic bonus play-through terms and conditions that kick us (and the casinos) in the ass.

There are all sorts of players. There are some who are in it primarily to make a profit, there are some who are in it for pleasure. Personally, I don't make a profit, I never intended to do so; I break even.

Since I deal with player complaints here, it's a bit of a touchy subject for me. There are a lot of players who will never use my services at "pitch a bitch" because they will get busted out as fraudulant players; they take their problems to the forums and chatrooms where they do their bitching. It's my opinion that there is far more player fraud than casino fraud which is truly unfortunate. And it's having a trickle-down effect which is screwing this industry over.

My suggestion would be to check out different playing strategies (like at the Wizard's site

) and play straight without any "free bonus" money. Thus you are playing on your terms, and the casino can never screw you over for being abusive.

'if you have multiple computers and multiple funding accounts you can hit the same casino for their sign up bonus.'

As I said in my previous post 'Thats the worrying part, to do so would be bonus abuse pure and simple and you'd get what you deserve.' DONT DO IT.

I'm still looking for that lot to - I think you have misread my post. I warned joedog that he would be committing bonus abuse, I did not tell him to abuse bonuses! Perhaps my message was not clear, if so apologies.

Forum Meister,

I cain't rember where I met this guy, I was going to a lot of sites the time. Now that I think about... it was another betting forum.....or maby YAHOO CHAT (card games). Anyway I have lost contact with him.

I think we were all just trying to dissuade you from even thinking about doing this multiple name trick joedog. As the meister says, it just ends up screwing us honest players by making the casinos go crazy with their wagering requirements and identification process (they stop just short of requesting DNA at this point, but that may soon change).

I think at many places, you can make a nice profit from the bonus offer, at others, you gotta work for it and hopefully beat the house. It can be done, just not always.

At one place I signed up at about 6 months ago (City Club Casino), they had this offer of $100 match bonus you could claim up to 4 times if you kept losing. Once you made a withdrawl though, that was the end of the bonuses. So I tried 3 times, $100 each time with a $100 match, and lost it all each time. I decided to go back and try once more and was literally down to my last $5 playing 4 line Aces & Faces videopoker for $1.25/line. On my last hand, I was DEALT a royal flush! $1000/line on all 4 lines! I was so shocked that I thought I was dreaming it (since it was 2am). I made sure every card was held 3 or 4 times before I dared hit draw, and sure enough $4000 showed up in my balance. I took screen shots before & after just in case and then went to bed. In the morning, it was still there and they paid me a few days later. So in that case, I beat the house, but they were within 1 hand of beating me.

Good luck!!

Hey there!

I've been playing for a while, and always used the boards as a good guideline, in terms of where to play, and where to stay away from.

Joedog, I like to play the bonuses too, as it's nice to see my account balance as fat as it can be! I rarely win but i have a great time playing, and am happy for any extra money the casino can throw me.

I'm always mindful of how much i wager when i'm lucky enough to score a win and cash out, because i learned a long time ago that playing too close to the wagering requirement lines was sure to get me in trouble with the payout teams at the casinos i was frequenting.

I'm upset to hear Mr. Meister saying that player fraud is becoming a problem:
"It's my opinion that there is far more player fraud than casino fraud which is truly unfortunate. And it's having a trickle-down effect which is screwing this industry over."

I consider myself a relatively honest player, but I do use the boards to learn what casinos are paying and which ones aren't, and which ones have the tastiest bonuses. I always figured that's what these forums are best for. Even in this thread about bonus hunting/don't bonus hunt, JPM mentioned that he likes to play certain games, cuz he'll have a better chance of cashing out a bonus, "follow ALL the rules and beat them at their own games by playing games that have very low or even negative house edge like some Videopoker games". Obviously JPM is not out to fraud the casinos, but it's clear that he's playing to win the bonuses, or else he'd play whichever games he enjoyed the most :)

(("It's my opinion that there is far more player fraud than casino fraud which is truly unfortunate. And it's having a trickle-down effect which is screwing this industry over."))

And we are all entitled to our own opinion. And my opinion on above mentioned is, there are one hell of a lot of players defrauding the casinos, but as for as it being more than the casinos defrauding players, Not at all.

Casinos are in business to turn a buck, and they see a player as paying for intertainment only. So if one gets lucky enough to hit on a win, the casino operators/owners will come up with one excuse right after another, if not ignore you completely, as to why they are not paying your winnings.

And that is bringing down a lot of online casinos, THEIR greed!!

Charge backs are a huge problem to online casinos, costing them untold thousands each month. (and charge backs are only one form of player fraud) Also, when a player goes into a casino and makes a purchase and then charges back their purchase, the casino operators don't go running into forums and message boards to post slanderous allegations about the players involed. Yet, if any casino does anything that remotely appears to be unfair, players rush to the forums and message boards to accuse the casino, creating bad publicity for the casinos.

This may be the reason people find it hard to believe that players frauding online Casinos is a much larger problem than visa versa. That's the only side they read about!

Reputable, honest casinos would - In my opinion - love to lower and simplify the play-through requirements on bonuses. Just imagine how many more players they would attract.

The prevalence of player fraud seems to have made online casinos overly paranoid, though, to the point where even honest players sometimes feel the fall-out when they try to cash in.

Actually Digger, I do tend to enjoy the videopokers the most, lol. They just happen to be one that have a pretty good payback percentage when you're playing optimum strategy. Also, when you do come across the elusive royal or 4 deuces, you can get a pretty good pay out as well.

Sometimes I play to win the bonus, other times, I'll play to catch 4 deuces on 2's wild or 5 of a kind on joker poker. I usually only play full coin bet though (usually 5 coins) per hand. $5 per hand on a 4-line machine, or $1.25 on a 1 line machine, though I tend to stick to the 4 line machines though.

When someone performs a charge back against a casino just because they lost a lot of money, then yes, that in my opinion is player fraud. If a player performs a charge back as a last resort due to winnings not being paid, money taken from their bank/charge card without authorization, then No, that wouldn't be considered player fraud, in my opinion.

As for a casino running to a forum to post of a player defrauding them, why would they? The casinos can do exactly has they please on stealing a players money and the know how to cover it up and make it look as if it was player fraud and not casino fraud.

Online casinos are not paranoid, they use every single reason no matter how small as an excuse for 'their' deceitful ways.

How many legit complaints against an online casino are here at casinomeisters versus fraudulent players?

Just my thoughts and opinions only!

I assumed that it went without saying that I was not referring to legitimate charge backs.

Sorry Jinnia, I didn't mean to offend. I was just pointing out some facts. :(

Don't say sorry to me rowmare, you didn't offend.

and you are right about charge backs. I don't like it when one up and does one/some just because of losing more than they realized.
