Looking like the next big release from Big Time Gaming will be a jackpot style revamp of Bonanza. There were some photos and details on an blacakcat7s site earlier but they have since been removed.

Not been impressed with the last two BTG releases so hopefully a bit better this time around.

Cool Been waiting for a new version. Let's hope it doesn't come with an 88% RTP version though. :what:

Basegame will most likely run at a lower rtp than original to make up for the jackpots.
How much lower will depend on if the jackpots are progressive or not.
I think red tiger has something like 2-4% of the rtp tied to the jackpots on the versions that run the jackpots.

Not really a fan of jackpots since higher bets usually means higher chance to win them, wich means lowrollers like me are just feeding the jackpots for some highroller to come win them.
I probably have the same chance hitting 100 000x on doa2 as i have winning a progressive, so might aswell play that instead and enjoy a higher rtp.

Where even is this Bonanza Megapays slot anyway? I just searched on Pokerstars and VS, but they do not have it? So which casino have it?

Paddypower has it

I can not play there anymore since years lol. I closed my account their permanently because I never managed to win ever at that casino and I never got any bonuses. I did hundreds of deposits there years ago in the space of about a year. Only managed 1 withdraw in all that time. Dreadful casino.

Any others that have it?

Leovegas/Unibet

I wouldn't go rushing to play it

I can not play at those 2 anymore either lol :) Oh well. I guess I will have to wait. Not bothered anyway. I mean I am a lower roller mostly anyway, so chances of actually triggering the JP feature on it would be impossible. For example, still never hit the jackpot on any Red Tiger slots or Playtech slots haha. Thanks both who replied though :)

Not missing much: it's like Bonanza

Only shitter (if poss)

And with crap graphics.

I played this so you don't have to.

And yes, the progressive contribution is massive.

Also, don't bet on ever seeing the progressive round, even though it doesn't have to pay so much as the MINI, if you're a low-roller.

Doesn’t look like this thread will be giving the original a run for it’s money. :p Should have left well alone, the sequels rarely outdo the originals in any category of entertainment. All we have ended up with here is that both versions are now on their arse.

Still no explanation as to why the mega jackpot was going every 5 mins????

Was it genuinely being won? Was it a fuck up? Where did all the contribution money go if it wasn’t being won? If it was being won who was paying it and how are they still in business?

Or is it all being swept under the carpet?

More importantly why is it lottery odds just to trigger the bonus on small stakes even if it doesn’t have to pay you? I’ve still not managed to trigger it once so what the fuck is the point of even trying unless you wanna be like the BTG shills and row it at £5 a pop????

If you’re gonna do that remember to do it RESPONSIBLY. Links to my site are down below and in the chat every 2 seconds.

What a c**t.

Totally agree, I played it a handful of times and decided I didn’t like what I was seeing. The more I thought about the concept, the more uncomfortable I felt so I haven’t touched it since.

Doesn’t look like anybody else has either (or they didn’t hit big) judging by the lack of screenshots.

Terrible game. Pointless giving it a coin if ur a low roller.

I’d like to know where the rtp goes if playing on lower stakes?

The RTP distribution remains the same on all stakes, higher stakes trigger the progressive round more often because they contribute more to the jackpots. Over a large enough spin sample 20p spins will work out exactly the same as £20 spins.

However, because you're much less likely to trigger a progressive round on lower stakes, and you're not even guaranteed to win one of the jackpots when you do, you can effectively just be setting fire to nearly 10% of RTP for a very long time.

I think the game design on Bonanza Megapays is really bad, a combination of huge progressive contributions, an 'all or nothing' style progressive round, and a tiny chance of ever seeing the round on smaller stakes, makes it a dreadful proposition for smaller stakes players.

(And the jackpots aren't even that big, so I fail to see the appeal for high stakes players too.)
