No, each spin can very well be out of a pool of results, in or out of a feature, without the feature being predetermined or the multiplier caped.
It is just easier for them to control the chances of big wins happening. And it also means staked symbols or near miss wins mean absolutely nothing.

I know it can m8, be out of a pool of results. Thats what i think im saying. Each spins is picked out of a pool of results, thus random although limited to the pool of results. Yeah i didnt mean random in the sense that each reel is distributed random. I know what you mean though, that by using a pool - the win you described could not even be available at all. but i thought jammin jars as per your comparison was pre determined prior to the feature starting.

Congrats, this is what is known as "weekend winnings" common known trait in which this slot Tuesday to Friday milks everyone dry then pays out on weekend. I only play at 80p myself now, most of time lose my deposit instantly but worth the limited playe time for when a bonus pays good. This so far all bonuses are pish for me!

Same here had a x10 on 17 spins yesterday. Can’t help thinking the bonus rounds are predetermined whatever anyone says. Even if the pool of results is more limited via different reel strips, we still know there is hell of a lot of winning combos in there.
