After a long drought and seeing Dunover's luck changed yesterday I thought I would have another go last night.

Deposited £60 and initially went for 100x60p spins. I have played bonanza as much as any other slot and my honest opinion is it’s one of if not the best slot out there. How many other games deliver such large wins consistently in the base game? Yes there are a lot of bonuses that pay next to nothing but name me a slot that doesn’t do this. Take DOA everyone raves about this game but in essence it’s not a patch on bonanza. Admittedly I don’t overplay it but I have had one wildline in a year. It isn’t capable of consistent huge base game hits, most bonus rounds really do pay nothing at all so unless you hit the wildline it’s impossible to get significantly ahead yet there is no thread moaning and groaning about this. That I think is because it’s so black and white that everyone understands that this is how it has to play to compensate for the wildline hits. Just because Bonanza is dressed up differently with all the potential it has I think people get led into the illusion they must win. Ask yourself the question (I know they are totally different games but at the end of the day winning is what counts). How many times do you walk away from DOA well in profit compared to Bonanza. Yeah I was just comparing 2 popular games and there aren’t many as popular as those 2. Just basically saying IMO bonanza comes in for it’s fair share of criticism when to me it’s not justified. Sit on any game when it’s dead and try and get it to pay. It won’t happen but I think that is what people do with bonanza whereas they would walk away from other games.

Sure people must have realized by now, if you want big wins you don't play Bonanza. Max true potential 5000x and you can even get 1000x much easyer elsewhere.
