You haven’t missed anything for me every game is playing dead. To be honest it’s making me feel like packing it in. The predictability is becoming so boring. Deposit, hit an early bonus to give you false hope and boost you bankroll by 2 or 3 quid. Then ten minutes of tedious playtime that you know isn’t going to produce anything and you bust out. 23 of my last 26 deposits pretty much went through that exact pattern and 2 of the other 3 were not much better. The other 1 gave me a cash out retrieving a third of my previous losses. Seems to be par for the course. Complete waste of time and money.

So at a site like VS, with maybe 1,000,000 spins on Bonanza per day (or 2,000 features per day), you will see it once a year.

VS actual all time RTP is at 95.90% and that also tells something. The "missing" 0.10% counts for all monster hits. My guess is all wins > 5,000x are included in there.

When all said and done I am afraid all games go down this path. Its more obvious with games like bonanza because it has a very high volume of players so we all make comparisons and great though the game is/was in terms of excitement and innovation it’s complexity leaves gaping holes in the supposed “randomness” of the play. Of course you will be told we are all imagining it and that all of us notice these changes but again we are all wrong. Jungle spirit is another great example. Although not as complex by any means, when that game launched it paid some nice hits, the bonus rounds were fairly frequent along with the firefly bonus and even the occasional big hit in the base game. Now big base game hits are extinct, and you are lucky to see either bonus once in a session and it is virtually guaranteed to pay less than x25.

Hard to strike GOLD but when it came 9/10 it paid well over 100x if not a lot more, making the wait all worthwhile and true to what their rep very first said about the game.

I would say the game gets altered yes. A few weeks back we had the G with OLD to follow in the next cascade, a few +5s being seen and some big hits in the base game. Now seemingly everyone is on a dry patch unless nutnut is hitting them all. Dhv and Extra chilli have been even worse for me. Just out of interest I would like to hear any guesses people have as to how much money goes through Bonanza on a daily basis ( all casinos, not recycled, just lost deposits ).

I was battered yesterday - took an all round beating. Bonanza was woeful and looked like it was changing... nope.

Two quid bonus offerings in JATB was a worse blow - 10x, Immortal may as well have just not loaded and Wild Swarm had me putting my head in the oven

I have had many bonuses on Bonanza. Liked mention above it can turn like any slot to dead spins, we need to learn to take a break from it as it's so easy to keep pounding at it thinking it owes us only to go broke, trust me been a victim my self many times but also to other slots. Can’t complain of late. Last deposit hit a 350x and made £270 profit.

Played tonight and deposited £100, the base played really well and then got a feature for 40x. Was going to cash out £140 and be pleased of some profit when GOLD landed straight in it paid a massive £1.20!

Has to be my favourite slot because of it's potential and the roller coaster rides of the bonus games having seen anything from 3x to 600x.
I wish it wouldn't play it's victory tune when it's given you a rough bonus round and hardly paid anything out though. That almost feels insulting and p's me off.

I find myself looking for patterns and think I can see when the base game's paying it's unlikely you'll hit a bonus round but when it isn't you're more likely.
Also when you've just had a rough bonus round it's more likely you'll hit another quicklier than you would normally have.
