New Slot Announcement Bonanza by Big Time Gaming

I thought I might miss it but I really don’t. It had just become a habit, as I wasn’t enjoying it towards the end anyway. Who would enjoy depositing £100-£300 on a regular basis and not even seeing a bonus round?

If the experience was still the same as the first 5 years, I’d still be spinning away, but it absolutely isn’t, it’s not even close. It will only get worse as well. There’s just a handful of diehards left on the forum and countless have vanished over the years.

Online gambling will eat itself, just as the FOBT’s did. It’s just a matter of time.

I feel the same, playing a few times a week down to one limited Borenanza session a month, remarkable about how quick I got used to not playing and in retrospect it almost seems inane that I did play often.

You probably explained in a video (and I missed that bit) or on here in a post at some point, however, why are you limited to just this single session.

Surely you have access to more than one casino account given the amount of sites that are out there. Is it in the main that you're not willing to jump through any SoW hoops mate?

Yes, I actually have two valid accounts, but one is still pending a Casumo-style AML/KYC nightmare so has been ignored and mothballed. But yes, for me as a self-employed aff it's just not worth the stress.

You obviously missed my “All accounts closed” thread.
I had a last cascade on reels 1.2 and 3.
I've no idea what that would have paid but I am considering my position :(

With a single A on reel 2 i think it would have paid 129x.
That is assuming i did the numbers right, so take it with a grain of salt.

Biggest reason for the relatively low pay is not reaching reel 6, 5oak A only pays 0.6x compared to 1.75x for a 6oak.

That eases my mind Keoffe mate. Luckily I have gone on with a few bonuses to increase my bets and sign out if I fail wid me deposit :)

Just one, just firkin' one diamante on reel 2 for 1200x....

That second reelstrip in that overall reel configuration is probably 72,845 stops long with one diamond on it.

The cascades are not a seperate call after an initial spin no. It’s already decided as soon as you hit start. In other words the cascades you were waiting for in the above screen shot were not randomly selecting symbols to drop down. They’d already been selected.

The max Megaways is obviously carefully designed, like most of BTG bonus rounds, take those god awful games where you can increase the ways to 100 billion in the feature, the reel sets are obv designed to fuck you over easily with certain symbols a plenty on mostly reels but coming around as often as Hayley’s comet on one of them.

Despite what people think, the bonus is not pre determined either. Each one of those mostly dead spins is plucked from the reel sets containing mostly blocking gems and scatters.

This, basically! I was going to use exactly the same example as well, of those Megaways games where they really show you how the sausage is made when the reels massively extend out and you can clearly see how totally gimped they are.

Bonanza has reels exactly like that except you just can't see them as clearly because the game window shows far fewer stops at any given time.

It's not a scam but it is rather sneaky, because our mind fills in the blanks of what we think should be possible on a regular basis, when mathematically speaking the result we're looking for is billions to one or some such shit.

It's the only way Megaways can work, otherwise they'd just be infinite money dispensers for the players.

It’s how some Megaways games work.

Blueprint ones use the jammin jar methodology.

Or at least the earlier ones did, this has been shown on Diamond Mine for example.

Yes you could generate a load of game rounds and Jammin' Jars them of course, but for 'real' Megaways games using proper reels, designing them as you can see clearly when the reels are massively expanded out on some of the games, is the only way to do it.

TBH it proper put me off them, once I had a few bonus rounds with sixty-four trillion Megaways only to get a load of dead spins and a 3OAK on 9s was enough to just have me fuck them off for good.

Yeah I called those games out as soon as I witnessed how blatantly gimped they were. They are shockingly bad.

Obv bonanza isn’t in the same league as the gazillion ways games, but the dead spins in the bonus round because of shit ways and blocking scatters and gems can really you send u into the nuthouse when you’ve waited 3hrs for it to land and the next one is 4hrs away!!

At the end of the day it doesn’t matter whether a game has 1 line or 10 million. When u press start u need the luck to be on ur side. The rest is bells and whistles.

It was a clever gimmick, which sucked a lot of people in (myself included) but you soon see through it.

Bonanza is still a decent game, but games with 9 win lines consistently out perform it when it comes to the monster wins. That tells u all you need to know.

I wish there was a renaissance of "plain" slots that were WYSIWYG with traditional PAR sheets. You get such a clearer picture about the game's personality. There's all kinds of crazy shit you can do without, as it's called here, scripting.

After Bonanza being brutal towards me in their sister site Paddy Power I stuck £50 in Betfair and I hit this very quickly. I think that BTG prefer to generally bleed you dry then give you a big hit to keep you coming back.
So one more shot in Paddy it is.
720x

I’m amazed the likes of hills, paddy, coral, lads, sky haven’t gone over to the 94% model.

All the above are champions when it comes to choosing dog shit RTP models.

Would then only really leave me with 365, and their meagre forced loss limits they have enforced.

In a way I wish they all would so I wouldn’t have to play the piece of shit again.

Is there a 94% version?
The lowest I've found is 95.52% which is from the evo servers

Bonanza during the last few months. £1200 in in Paddy Power £130 out.
It is brutal.
But I will get a return right with a 96%+ return if I continue?

Well it depends how much churn you've done and where your RTP is. If you play for long enough you'll always zero out your balance and never make a withdrawal.

The thing with Bonanza is it's vanishingly unlikely to ever do a life-saver like I got with Who's The Bride which hoofed out 5959x, paid back nearly all my losses, and gave me an escape route whilst saying, 'Yeah I won't be bothering with that again'.

Bonanza's enduring popularity is something of a mystery to me as it really does have a properly fucked up maths model.

I set a limit of £100 per day usuallly limited to 40p spins and each deposit busted out. Gone like an egg timer usually. The rtp has to be pretty low. Last night seen no bonus at all as was the same on friday. Hours without a bonus. PP do not show rtp as far as I can find.
