Okay, I am new to this site but not new to online slots and Bonanza. I am so, so frustrated I felt compelled to look into the possibility that I am not playing the same Bonanza game I have enjoyed for years now.

Has it changed? I used to win often, trigger the bonus often, and even when I'd lose I would get play and enjoyment out of it. Lately I am going through hundreds in mere minutes. I'm in the midst of a week without a single bonus. I play daily. Thousands of spins. Nothing.

Also, I play on DK, and they just attached a progressive jackpot to it and it's even worse! What is going on? Forgive my ignorance and thanks in advance. I don't understand a lot of the lingo in the forum. The algorithms had to have changed, right?

OMG. I play Bonanza daily. My jaw just dropped. April 2021 is EXACTLY when I noticed it changed. I know because I moved then, and I was blaming the losses on bad luck from moving. Just wow.

Has it changed? Yes beyond recognition, not even an attempt to be subtle about it. I used to play it every single day. I think there was only twice, that I didn’t hit a bonus and the most I ever lost was £300 in one day.

Then all of a sudden it became possible to go a week without seeing a bonus and lose 1k at the same time. Once, I could have accepted, twice, a bit suspicious but believe me this became the norm.

All BTG games have been screwed since EVOLUTION took over. Oh, and don’t take any notice of the defenders of the realm telling you rtp is the same because games are tested. It’s absolute bollox, there are more loop holes and skulduggery going on regarding online gambling, than any other industry you can imagine.

Just happens that EVOLUTION & BTG are top of the list.

Yes that's really true. JP contribution in Megapays is almost 10% so in theory it's 86% bonanza.

Just find normal bonanza somewhere. Progressive JP in any game always means miserable RTP in base game.

Though i probably play around 20% of what i used to, my last 7/8 two quid D's were atrocious - only one breached the 50x mark: though it was a 400x. Even before that, they ran really bad.

Less giving gambling up, more finding a better game - probably go 1000x down in Mystery Museum by Push but it will chuck you a 1500x - with Bonanza, you'd need to work for them to even get that and even then it's 50:50 if you got it.

Still playing, but after reading these threads, it'd absolutely time to stop. I am very upset with myself over how much I've lost to a game that was no longer what I though it was.

Problem is, I am VERY addicted to Bonanza. Much more so than any other slot.
 
So I've had a huge roller coaster on Bonanza this last week...was playing the other day..deposited £100 and about 10 spins in had a repeat drop on an all-the-ways. We were shouting for a diamond to fall on reel one but after three drops it wasnt to be. Worked out it would have paid £2160 on 80p. So was spitting!
Hit a bonus about 2 minutes later and this happened. Jokingly said 'Ok, you can pay me the money you owe me now'...as a load of diamonds and wilds dropped in on a x11 multiplier. We sat there open mouthed for a minute! Now my highest ever max win!

Just wanna give you an update after hitting 11k on Bonanza, ever since my cash out the game is doing nothing but dead spins I counted 127 of them yes I said that right 127!! I've not had a bonus since that win, there something not right about it since the cash out to the point I've stop playing it. My suggestion to people that are lucky enough to get a decent win, leave the game for awhile, seems it knows when you've had a win, isn't Bonanza suppose to be random?

I experienced similar after my 7.5k win on £2 stakes, at FreakyVegas a few years a go. Feeling optimistic, I made several bigger deposits than the £50 that won this and ended up spunking nearly 5k back on the game, but at a different casino!

WTF??? 7412x bet!!!!! That's officially the biggest ever Bonanza hit on CM iirc. We've had a 4800x base game hit, I've had two features of 3500x+ and @goatwack I believe had one around 5000x? The original 'classic' biggest win 14440x came very early on, it's on YT and BTG 'recreated' it as it wasn't filmed. There has been another on YT of over 5000x with red gems in feature, so this is the second highest win I've personally seen, the highest 100% authenticated one. Well done. This actually should have been posted too in the Mega-wins thread (3000-9999x) thread. I am waiting for the day to see a CM member get Bonanza into the 'hyper wins' thread where 10,000x-plus wins go.

Who needs 7000X wins when you can go on an 18 month winning run anyway??

Admittedly I took that 14,000x win on bonanza to be genuine but now I’m not so sure, after flogging it to death for years I’m not sure it’s possible. With fake screen shots on here why not a fake vid??

when they hit I knew it was big but I had absolutely no idea it would go for that much. Does anybody know if you can request replays from BTG? I’d love to share the bonus round here. I withdrew 5.5K, with the money left I went over to Reel Linking (whatever it’s called) and the first five dings gave me all five reels and 500x! Even Fat Rabbit then threw me in a whole screen of wilds for 300X. Couldn’t go wrong that night. I’ve been playing Bonanza every night since, and had a ton of bonuses, the best being about 250x. Had some stinkers too…lowest was 6X I think.

1st time I played slots in many months and its cause I was stuck in my room with covid that I did. I played this slot quite abit as it used to be my fav.

One thing I can say with absolute certainty and its honestly not even up for discussion. This game has been changed. This used to be a good wager slot.

Over numerous sessions, my balances got totally destroyed like I was playing danger. This slot plays nothing like it used to at all.

I dont know if they lowered the rtp or changed the variance or both but if I had a choice to bet a good portion of my savings on whether its been changed, I would feel 100% confident selling my house and going all in on that bet.

The only thing this did, was really lower my trust in the industry. There is a reason I quit and it had a lot to do with that.


Not sure if I will ever play slots again tbh. I do not trust any of it anymore. I just didnt play for about 4-5 months and now I really dont think Ill ever play again. I think I broke even after playing from other slots but I just dont trust any of it anymore.
 
I've played this slot as much/more than some posters on here and the base game has been subject to change IMO. As above, it was once a great wager slot, but it appears (before anyone jumps in, IMO) as if the variance has been ramped up , so that it no longer is. Sure it probably meets the 96.xxRTP, whatever that means in practice, but the play is entirely difference. And before some Brexit quoting semi-play people chip in, this is me saying this after a 5500x win recently and 1k ish up on it since Jan-22.
 
About 700 spins today with just a £15 balance.

Not one bonus, not even a shite one.

Top wins 2 x 5OAK diamonds for £10 and 30 x ways 'A' for £10.50

Ragged it after but its not let me wager like that since as long as I can remember (Well Evo? :p)
 
The MGS versions have all been updated again. Just getting a cascade tease is now akin to getting an 8 scatter trigger. Of course tho, it won’t drop in the D when you finally do get one.

Chaos crew wagers better than this game ffs, and at least you have a chance of something crazy when you do hit it!!

Impossible! You cannot deposit a mere 100x and get 3 features in one session - I don't believe it, only seems to happen to you. You simply cannot play 2 euros, win, raise your stake and win over 5k!! Now you've won enough to bank 3k and have enough left to fund 10 more 200-euro sessions and if you get to double some of those, you'll possibly be even further ahead and end up playing more and more 200-euro sessions from the same initial deposit! It doesn't happen to anyone else, you must be playing a different version, nobody gets that many features and especially not 5-scatter ones, you cannot be that lucky....... To be fair, the huge majority of features don't pay last spin simply because by then the higher multiplier in play seems to discriminate against winning spins, you had 9-spins left at Hollywood multiplier (10x) and to get 3 fucking wilds on the final spin roll across, that's the hit I'm always asking for in my sessions when it gets to the higher multiplier. I haven't seen 1000x now for 20 months and I reckon I play it a lot more than you do. Enjoy a good Xmas with the cash! :thumbsup:

To be honest when the red gem for 1,800 dropped in, I was pleased and was ready to cash out 2,000. Didn't expect the subsequent cascade win to be higher than than!

Yes, pretty much like my famous 3628x at Freaky Vegas I got a big red gem hit for around 1500x IIRC then the tumble afterwards dropped in a load of 5OAK diamonds to take the spin up to around 2500x and couple of spins later I hit I think about 450x then another spin of around 250x, mental when it goes right.

Tried persisting with it (when WH's promos were self decent) but the lag on their site (version? :p ), meant it became unbearable to play. Heard someone say it's got better (hardly a ringing endorsement) but hardly hit anything of note on there (or Rizk)

The lag is very annoying, even happens on a drop down chance for the 'D' so you know you're not getting it. I had another go today as I couldn't quite believe yesterday's hammering, it was just as bad.

I don't know why firms are hellbent on offering shite low rtp games to the slotting public when the 96% games can already make them a pretty penny, today's 1 hr session on bonanza was literally like daylight robbery. I suppose when the upturn happens it is far less frequent to occur on the 93% etc..

What was remaining of my balance I withdrew and was very surprised to see it in my bank account instantly, whether the banking technology has changed I don't know, but if not shows they could've been doing this for years rather than monkeying around.
 
Next Gen can rip you a new one just for a tease.

They are all the same with the slight pauses which varies slightly from casino to casino but each spin is an easy tell whether it’s a win or not.

Likewise with the cascade chance on the D. However it’ll still be quick if there is another win coming.

I lost my absolute shit once when I got a quick pulse with only 2 places and no connectors only for it to drop 2 diamonds in. This was after a 3 hour feature drought.

Keyboard not been replaced since.
