"
Maybe the clue is just to play it on max stake? Presumably the higher stake you play on the more chance of a trigger? Is this confirmed anywhere????"
They say that the higher the stake the chances are increased to hit the progressive, aye. Ceartinly is the case for older games like the spiderman/incredible hulk progressive games where if you trigger a progressive you know instantly what you've won. That's evident when playing for fun money, where if you're betting 10+ quid a spin you'll be hitting the minor on those games on a very regular basis, for 80-150 quid or whatever it resets too on those shite games.
The basic idea afaik being if a 10p bet were to give you one chance in a gazillion to trigger it, a £1 bet would give you 10 chances, and so forth. Which is why with the "guaranteed to drop by xx.xx" type huge progressives in vegas, players who hunt specifically for them will pump it on max bet when its close, possibly even in a kind of syndicate fashion with other friends also doing the same on multiple units. While there is no "gaurunteed to drop by xx.xx amount" , perhaps there are groups of people pooling together and trying just that... maybe on casinks that offer bonus play on it.
But since you're not even guaranteed a win after the trigger for these particular progressives, I'd want to guess that the 10p bet for one chance and so forth, then also perhaps applies again on bonanzaar after the initial trigger, with the chances of then actually hitting one of the progressives increasing respectively to the bet size.
.
I'd also think that with even, say, if on average it were 50 players on the planet spinning max bet, when combining that playthrough with all the other players spinning away hopelessly on smaller bets, perhaps it wouldn't take long to rack up the money required to cover the mega progressive hits, of which 99.5% of the time the big one will only ever be going to the people betting near or at the max bet.
If it's dropping so regularly, it really has to make ya wonder how shit the base game must also be. With a huge jackpot dropping at that regularity surely they must have done a shit load of test spins to ensure the trtp levels out as suggested. Otherwise you'd think that after seeing this happen at such a regularity that has been described here, if fearing a huge loss on the horizon they would have pulled it faster than your average teenager watching buffy the vampire slayer in the 90's.
But what do I know, I'm tired as fuck, and you'd never find me playing such a POS anyway
