That is utter filth. Disgusting shite. Of all my 1000x plus hits, only two in 4 years were off 5-scatter triggers, including one that paid 1500x and retriggered 3 times for 32 spins. I've had 2 7-scatter triggers, one was 172x and the other 211x.
You can always tell if a 5-scatter trigger is going to pay as you'll get a couple of winning spins in the first 3, getting you up to 5 or 6x multiplier straight off. The classic is to give you just one winning spin in the first 6, thus neutralizing your +5 straight off, then you know you'll be a getting a sub-50x for your 17 spins, 60-80x at best.
