New Slot Announcement Bonanza by Big Time Gaming

Me too :)

Think these old timers need to hang up their miners helmets and let the new boys (Edit: And Gals) have a pop.

They are passed it now. Bitter and torn from too many G...O....L................ owwww.......

Edit: We should have a team comp - Old School V New School
Think i saw Harry said bonus was 1/450 on Beetlejuice.
Bonanza is around 1/350 i think (somebody probably knows the right number).

So its no wonder its hard to bonus.
Bit tilting that you get 2 scatters in 99% of the spins aswell. :p

I sometimes wonder where these average number of spins to hit a bonus come from. Unless they come from the actual provider or someone who knows the exact mechanics then they are not official.

Even then is that the figure assuming the same reel bands are being selected on every spin?

Games like Gonzo’s Quest for example appear to use the same set reel strips for every spin, although I am not 100% sure they are the same in the bonus round.

Games like Bonanza certainly don’t use the same reel strips for each spin and change dramatically on cascading. This is very apparent when you analyse the 117,649 ways. It is possible to trigger the bonus in the max ways but I have only managed it once.

Think about how often you see even one scatter in the max ways, compared to regularly seeing two within much smaller “ways”. This tells you the reel bands are not the same otherwise you could expect to trigger the bonus in the max ways far more often.

They surely come from simulation millions/billions of spins from the provider and/or the certification company who checks the slots.

Well that’s the thing. If you knew the reel layout and that it was the same every spin and the amount of scatters was fixed, then you wouldn’t need to do simulation because the calculation could be done mathematically.

It would be relatively easy on a game like Gonzo’s Quest where the reel symbol positions are fixed and there is a set amount of “ways”.

Hypothetically if Bonanza did have fixed reel symbol positions it would be more complex due to the variation of ways but still achievable using maths.

However if the reel positions are not fixed along with the amount of scatters available varying, then yes simulation is probably the only way although I am sure the programmers would know because they would know what is available and when.

Also if you think about it they must know because they wouldn’t send it to trial not having a clue. Each slot has a set rtp and that is obviously a major factor that has been fixed prior to testing.

I woud'nt say that this game was abandoned by the provider, but i can tell just by going through all these screenshots that something did change in favor of for example, another new game. Anyone questioning that games cannot be changed or volatility selected by the casino's should take a look at themself.... sigh.

I played a pragmatic game for a long time, untill they removed the quick spin feature from that game. I can tell that the game did'nt play as it used to anymore, not because of the missing quick spin feature, but altered in a certain way that the bigger payouts where like vanished like snow for the sun.

I woud'nt touch these games anymore man. It's obvious that this threads still lives to exist for more then 765 pages by now, with the majority posting a negative trend. What do you guys expect, that it opens up tomorrow all of a sudden? Wake up. This game has bin tanked and nuked; move on. The only reason why it's still up is due to popularity or a certain amount of players coming back for it.
