It doesn't contradict anything - it backs it up. It means that not only must it be possible in every spin, but the chance can't be 1 in 1 trillion - it has to be within a prescribed limit.
And just because two games have the same number of permutations, does in no way mean that they have the same maths. There are thousands of games that use 25 win lines on a 5x3 grid - does that mean these should all have identical maths? No of course not.

No but it does mean every spin displays a 5x3 grid (megaways is obviously different) and is this how BTG get around how often the jackpot is available because if the multiplier potentially has no limit how can anyone say what the jackpot is?

Because if you don’t programme slots it’s the logical way to think. How is a player supposed to differentiate between slots that have the same “ways”. We are not given that kind of info. How would each individual spin select the amount of ways?

I have no idea how the actual maths works, but my guess it's that at the start of every spin there is a chance for each reel too be either 2,3,5,6 or 7 high. Each reel could be independent in that the chance of each reel being a certain number of symbols high has no bearing on the reel stop position, and also no bearing on what any other reels do.

For instance, the game picks a random reel position of 27. Then it decides, for that reel, how many symbols to show in view.

Yes Bonanza used to be one of the BTG slots that caused minimal problems on an iPhone but lately it’s as bad as DHV and Chilli which are both painful to load. The strange thing is that depending where you play these games have different platforms (I think that’s the right word). Why is this? I find once you have issues with a game on you phone sometimes it’s impossible to cure. I liked Rizk casino but no longer play there as my favourite game won’t load and at Casumo I can no longer load Netent games (I suppose I should be grateful really). Tbh it is starting to spoil the enjoyment. Also when I exit a game and go back to the lobby I am nearly always logged out yet my game play records fine. Do you find any other bug/issues generally?

I don't know about others but I'm still perplexed why it was agreed that QF wouldn't have autoplay on the game. I play Bonanza every session and i simply don't want to play it without it - so, aside from one exception, i don't play on sites that just have QF.

Exactly, all it takes is to play a few sessions with lag/disconnects and you'll find yourself not returning. It's more the fact that they don't take any complaints seriously, they just trot out the standard clear cache/internet connection line.

Lets be honest - most casinos are getting pretty similar in terms of withdrawal times/lack of bonus's so it's logical you'll just avoid the laggy/buggy places (hello, Slotsmillion and the servers hosted in the backgarden)

Either way if you are influencing the amount of times this can occur compared to the times it should naturally occur then I don’t see how that passes as being random. It’s weighted and weighted= you know. By my reckoning the chances of hitting the 117,649 is 22,500 to 1 so you would have to say it actually occurs in the base game more often than it should but to never occur in bonus tells you something. On the flip side I have hit it back to back in the bonus on millionaire which again tells me it’s more controlled than random. Just my thoughts.

I think I’m done with this slot now, I usually play it every day.

I've explained how weighting things can be random multiple times. Random does NOT necessarily mean evenly weighted - it means randomly determined.
