well here it is and pretty much as expected
Yeah, I've witnessed 6 of these myself, 4 of them paid in the 3-400x range (like this one) and two were pitiful, primarily @PMKFRUITPRO 's and (although in demo when they gave me the feature-buy Bonanza to try) I did one which retriggered 32 spins total and paid even less than his did.

At a 1/460 feature hit chance, to not get a feature in 10,000 spins really is into the realms of being almost statistically impossible.
You're talking something like 0.000000036%.
NOTE - Anyone with better maths/probability skills than me please correct, but I think that's right.

I certainly believe you because one evening I did 8000+ spins on Bonanza without a bonus (at ladbrokes) I sat there in disbelief, I think the damage was about £220 (mostly 20p, some 40) which could've been worse.
And when it eventually came it was crap, however the following day I thought I'll just give it a short go (same site) and it gave me 2 plus four bonuses in a short time, didn't recoup much but it was a little bit of satisfaction.
However, not sure I'd trust the current bonanza version to be that kind, probably take one for another hiding.

The more astute can’t fail to have noticed the x10 base hit followed by 10-15 dead spins to immediately eradicate it. Happens all the time, it’s absolute bollox. As for, where are the Btg rep’s, well they disappeared ages ago, knowing they would be in for dogs abuse about how the game has been nerfed and they would have no answer.
The same reason as no Bonanza competitions have been held. Suddenly, people would have noticed that previous competitions had been won with some decent hits but now x100 would be winning comp’s.

Why must they be fake? The problem with your posts is that they are pro-slotting. You don’t post anything negative even though there must be times that you suffer the same shite as everyone else. Are you up or down on Bonanza (lifetime)?

If you dig back through the thread (I don’t expect you to), you will see posts from myself that were both positive and negative, until about 3 years ago so why would my posts suddenly swing to all negative if that wasn’t because it’s exactly what I have witnessed.
Sure, you can still get the odd decent hit but in the main, they appear way less often than they used to. I regularly used to hit 5-10 bonuses in an evening (all posted on this thread) and it was very rare not to hit 1 or 2, even if they paid terribly. From there I have regularly experienced not being able to hit a bonus in a week! It simply isn’t the same game. Whether you have to have played 5 million spins to be able to see it, I am not sure, but it strange how only a handful of players defend the game, whilst all the hardcore players are pretty much in agreement that it has changed.

To hit ten bonuses, on average, will take 4600 spins, there'll be some variance around that number but even ten bonuses is getting into the realms of enough for things to start to even out.
If you're not hitting a bonus in a week, then you must simply be doing far fewer spins than you used to. As per orion's post on the previous page, to not hit a bonus in 10,000 spins is an event that has a 0.000000036% probability of occurring.
Conversely, if you were hitting 5-10 bonuses in an evening, then you must have been doing somewhere in the ballpark of 2300-4600 spins per evening, to hit those numbers.
On top of that there'll be good runs and bad runs of course, by all accounts you did had a pretty rich run on Bonanza that lasted for quite some time, at a time when other people were routinely reporting right here at CM, in this very thread, what a terrible slot and impossible to hit a bonus on Bonanza is.
Anyway, I'm not defending Bonanza, I haven't played an online slot at all in six months, to give you an idea of what I think about them, but I still think it's worth keeping in touch with mathematics and reality.

I am not sure where the 460 average for a bonus came from. Strictly, if you are doing £1 spins and it takes 460 spins to hit a bonus, then it would be virtually impossible to ever be ahead.
I know it’s not going to cost £460 to hit a bonus but if it cost, say £200, you would be spending £200 to hit a bonus that allegedly averages x100. That would be continuously brutal.

It's been quoted numerous times in this thread, IIRC the original source was @dunover who I believe had access to the game sheets at some point.
I've done stats collection on several occasions over the years on Bonanza, long term it's always averaged out to that, and I believe @Reelsoffun has a pretty substantial dataset for the game that he's recorded, and reached the same.
To get an average result expectancy for something that happens 'quite often' (and statistically, 1 in 460 is fairly common) doesn't take a massive sample size, which is why orion's 10,000 spin feature drought claimed on the previous page is, statistically, so vanishingly unlikely to happen.

This came up last year (it'll be documented back in this thread somewhere), it doesn't always work properly and sometimes records bogus statistics.
As such any data it generates is prone to inaccuracies and any conclusions reached from said data are spurious.

Its hasn't tracked bonuses for quite a while now.
Annoyingly before they upgraded the community collected spins was much greater (millions) and more accurate. Can't be many users anymore, as nearly a quarter of those spins are mine (44k) since the SlotTracker change, and I haven't played Bonanza for ages, since it took 1100x stake in just a few hours.

Wouldnt surprise me if the Bonanza stats above were accurate, its 'only' 1.6 (ish) % below the theoretical rtp.
Its only natural, just as its natural to be a couple % above theoretical rtp when playing a good game.

Swings and roundabout game - i've had 1800x and 5000x in the last 2 years - i do think the variance has been ramped up but it's just a slot designed to take money off you. Their mechanics of tilting is second to none though.

Without question there used to be more bonuses that paid between x200 and x500. They have all but disappeared along with the decent hits on the max ways. Yes, you still hit one occasionally but most max ways pay nothing or pence.
The decent midrange bonuses have been added to the bigger wins that are once in a lifetime hits and there are way more that pay less than x50 than previously. Add in the 4% that Btg have made vanish into thin air and there you have it. A game that runs at around 92% (even below at some Casinos). No coincidence that DOA has gone to shite since Evolution took over.
