Black Widow ran a promotion for "High Rollers" when they switched to Playtech software.

Some players have been waiting for their withdrawals to be processed for two months.

Please file an OPA complaint if you have not already done so.

Mike, am I the member who they say they will pay but don't know when in the OPA announcement section?

I filed a complaint about a month ago and have not received any type of reply from the OPA or BW.

I've been waiting for my DEPOSIT and winnings for over 2 months.

Is this standard operating procedure for OPA and their recommended casinos?

Got paid yesterday, took 70 days but at least I got my money.

I have no idea what part OPA played since I never received any sort of reply.

hey OPA,

Black Widow has my $1970 deposit plus winnings of $852. I played the high roller bonus, i was eligible, they double checked and manually put in the bonus. i met the wagering req. and cashed out. now they say i broke a "term". they wont say what.

They wont give me my deposit or anything back. they stole $2000 from me. its been almost 80 days since i cashed out. i filed a complaint at the OPA about 2 weeks ago. i havent recieved any answers from black Widow or the OPA. why is this casino still on the "reccomended list"?

i feel like im getting the shaft from Black Widow and maybe the OPA. ive heard nothing about whats going on from either. and whats worse i know of other people that the exact same thing is happening.

We're now well past the deadline that Black Widow and Grand Banks set themselves for sorting out their slow-no payout hassles and by now everyone should have been paid.

Are there any players with payouts outstanding more than three weeks reading this?

That's other than garyjh btw - and gary the OPA doesn't shaft anyone, but I have advised the Complaints Center about your post above and lack of comms from them.

I also am in the same boat as garyjh.

Played at Black Widow on Aug 8th. I deposited $2000 thru Payapl, Bonus of $700. Wagered the $15,000. I then cashed out $2370.

They wont give back my $2000 deposit or any winnings. They claim I broke the terms also. I complained to the OPA also. No answers from them or Black Widow yet. Almost 3 months later.

They said I was eligible, I deposited, they put the bonus in, I met the wagering requirements.

Which of their terms did I break??????? They said they would no longer talk to me about it. So what can I do now? They have my money and no one can get an answer from them apparently.

I can post a copy of the email saying I was eligible for the bonus offer. But that is against the OPAs terms I think.

I have also been waiting on BLACK WIDOW for almost 3 months. First it was delay messages, and then they said I broke one of the terms. I wrote them an e-mail before I even played asking them if I was eligible for the high roller bonus, and they said yes. They still have my $2000 deposit and about $700 in winnings. They no longer respond to e-mails. I filed an OPA complaint a few weeks ago.

LVHM --

Where can I view a lit of pending OPA complaints?
Do you post these publicly anymore? I looked everywhere on the OPA and Casinogazette website and couldn't seem to find this anymore.

Perhaps you guys are too busy with other things lately, which is OK, but at least let us know.

Thanks
Dave R

Is Black Widow on the NR list yet, or are they taking steps to rectify this mess?

I filed a complaint with the OPA 4 weeks ago regarding another casino. There was no response. How do I know the OPA received it?

I tried to follow up with several emails to various OPA addresses, all without response. It would be helpful if there were some address thru which these communications could get to the right person.

Anyone going to gonegambling.com Chat tonight? :

Yes, the GoneGambling Vancouver Truth Chat will start in just a few
hours time. Chat will be bulging with celebrities like Ray and Robert
from Slotland. Matt from Grand Banks Casino will be in attendance and
wearing the latest fashion! Kevin from Reviewed Casinos will also be in
Chat and according to Greedygirl will be wearing beer stains down the
front of his shirt! Harry from All Online Slots will also be there as well as
a host of other celebrities!

Grand Banks Casino has some Free Accounts to give away as does
Slotland. To win an account you will have to answer a question about
the casino so I suggest you visit both casinos now and brush up on the
information they provide and how they look.

This could be a great opportunity to challenge the Grand Banks guy publicly. I will be on a flight as I am going to Johannesburg for ten days later today, but if another adviser could handle them it might be worthwhile before we get down to Player Cautionary Notices etc.

Is working now.

Chat has started and joeyl can't understand who is who.

The chat is like an asylum christmas party.

I can hear voices.

Many many voices.

I got sectioned Portia.

Really though i was just there to see what was said but did'nt notice anyone from the OPA there.

I did witness greedygamblinggirl or whatever her name was in a threesome with some bod from Slotland teaming up with a bloke from Grand Banks.

She seemed happy.

I'm sorry I couldn't be there. Ususally I'm asleep or at work when they have these chats.

Pity Tortex.

Jetset was right.

Although should'nt be necissary really with the direct lines of communication/OPA recommended status.

Pity.

Seems to me this firm are pushing the boundaries of rule 6 of the approved Casino code of ethics to it's limits.

Still nothing from Black Widow or the OPA on the $2700 Black Widow refuses to pay, its been over 3 months - how can they stay on the recommended list? Is this following the code of ethics they agreed to? They still don't answer emails, just nothing. $2000 of this is my hard earned money that I deposited there. I hope the OPA will remove them from the approved list so this won't happen to other members

Majsmoker - they have started paying players. Could you please send me your account# for the casino and your details in an email to [email protected]

I'll have someone look into it.

Wow! Have they really started paying players! What a nice move. Now I see why they are OPA recommended. GB/BW must be the best casinos outthere. You only have to wait 2-3 months to get paid, if ever.

Do I sense a bit of sarcasm here?

BW complicated things and virtually shot themselves in the foot with this stupid ass bonus. And when you're bleeding profusly from a gunshot wound to the foot (with bone fragments sticking out nonetheless) of course it will take you 2-3 months to pay anyone.

I hope the OPA will vote to remove these guys from approved status. If they ran out of money, the least they could have done was to admit who was rightfully owned money, and to have made some sort of payment arrangements.

Instead the lied, lied and lied some more.
Every excuse on the list to cheat players.

At least when Pyramid had financial problems, they had the guts to admit it publicly on a message board. This at least showed they were willing to step up to the plate, and eventually pay everyone rightfully owed. A smart move.

Black Widow and Grand Banks tried repeatedly to scam customers. They accused numerous players of violating thier terms when these players did nothing wrong. They lied to thier customers. They lied to the OPA. And even if they did eventually pay these people 3 months later, it was done because thier hands were tied.

Why would the OPA put thier seal of approval on such nonsense. It shouldn't. This is one big reason the OPA shouldn't be doing payout verification for all Playtech sites. Playtech couldn't care didly squat about players ripped off by BW and Grand Banks. A friend of mine wrote to [email protected] and then finally got the email address to a supervisor at Playtech who basically said that Playtech would eventually help after 90 days went by, but no promises would be made that the player would get even 1 red cent.

Shame, shame.
And yet the OPA has the % payout seal on these sites. What good is a % payout when the player doesn't get paid.

98% of 0 is still 0.
Where is Mike Craig?

Funny Grand Banks terms (from

All deposits of $500 or greater will be audited for fraudulent activity on the account. Activity such as requesting a bonus not offered to the player and using an industry-banned strategy such as Martingale, Anti-Martingale, dAlembert, Regression will be considered fraudulent activity.

Do these systems work after all??

What a load of crap. Martingale industrybanned??? Martingale is what keeps the industry alive..

Martingale, Anti-Martingale, dAlembert, Regression will be considered fraudulent activity.

This is silly. The people at Grand Banks can't possibly be ignorant enough to believe these systems work. This is nothing more than an attempt by them to come up with some type of clause to keep player winnings.

Can you imagine any B&M casino ever using such and excuse to keep a player's winnings? No, of course not, it would never happen. As tortex has stated, these systems are what feed the casino's coffers.

This is just another example of how ignorant online casino owners are.

The reason for banning martingale is they don't have the capital to absorb all the small wins that it creates, waiting for the large loss. Also, I suspect that the Playtech software is in fact a bit flawed and that a martinagle strategy at BJ could be highly effective if played during the right session.

Come on! They can absorb all the player losses can't they?
With regards to being flawed: You're basically saying that martingaling is a problem to them because the software isn't random? Is this substantiated by the results from The Online Casino Analyzer?

The reason for banning martingale is they don't have the capital to absorb all the small wins that it creates

Well, if they are short on capital, they should not be in the casino business. Joints like this need to be run out of business. There is far too much of this BS in the online gaming industry.

I still think it is just a CYA type clause they've added to their T&C's so they can steal the winnings of any player who happens to dance between the raindrops and win big.

Is Grand Banks an OPA member? If so, they should be kicked out. There statement shows how incredibly ignorant they are.

My opinion of their BJ is based on the play I have seen, not solid evidence as the OCA software does not currently support Playtech BJ. Our results on VP where we do collect data though are interesting... More on those at a later date.

I see Grand Banks has now taken that ridiculous "rule" down....as poster Caruso at WOL says, amazing how quickly an "industry banned" rule can be abandoned!!!

What a joke. I have been trying to get $200 out of them for the last 2 months now (as a player). Initially they answered my emails, promising that I should receive it soon.. bla bla bla.. Then they asked me to run a promo for them and when I told them that I would not promote them until I see my winnings, all communication stopped. Emails are being ignored etc. - (you guys know the game)- the usual scenario before a casino goes to the dogs.

What a bunch of losers. Anybody still dealing with them should do so with extreme caution!

Welcome, Peralis :)

Interesting revelation there. They tried to get me to do an affiliate deal, knowing fully well that I would only consider paid advertising, and only after problems were solved...

Needless to say, we haven't taken them on.
