Bitcoin Payout Delayed Due to Too Many Winners?

That's a new one on me. I'm waiting on a bitcoin payout, it's said in process all day. Normally that payment would have been in my account early this morning. (The cashout was on Sunday) I contact support to ask what's going on and they said they had a lot of winners so there is a back up and delay in getting the payouts processed. Give it until tomorrow night and we appreciate your patience. I'm not really happy with all that but of course I don't have a choice but to wait. I just don't understand what the actual "delay" could be. I wish I knew exactly what went on at their end when they're "processing" the payouts. In a way it's unacceptable.

Well, I finally got my payment, minus $43. That's a first too.

It sounds to me like the delay is that they simply don't have enough staff on hand to process payments efficiently due to a rush of players. Now, whether or not that is the truth is an entirely different matter altogether.

Did you ask them what the $43 missing was about? A new cashout fee perhaps? Or maybe it was just a price fluctuation in bitcoin from when they sent it to when you checked it?

I think it must have been the bitcoin fluctuation. The payout was $800. I get an immediate email when bitcoin drops into my account so I checked it right then. I have another payout that's supposed to process this morning from their sister site but I don't have it yet either. I'm hoping that drops in soon, it's only $500 but every little bit counts. Hopefully it doesn't land in my bitcoin account as $450 :eek2:

I never can wait to see if it would have gone up, I transfer it and get it into my checking account asap. I figure that's just the price I pay. Although once it reached my Coinbase account another $18 was missing. Blah.

I've heard there is currently delays with the BTC network confirming payments, i got a few emails about it from localbitcoins and coinbase warning about possible major delays I have not used the currency myself for months so thought nothing of it but it may be down to the bitcoin network itself rather than the casinos causing the delay.

a bit of into on it here

The best way to look for transaction delays is to see how large the unconfirmed transaction queue is on the bitcoin blockchain. If it's 50k+, things may take a while and fees are sure to be higher. If it's lower than that, things are typically smooth, easy, and cheap.
