My Grand mOther also used to play bingo but not online. She prefer to go out and play bingo. I think I need to introduce online bingo to her.

Bingo Site

Hi: When searching for any on line bingo site before you join check out all the rules and especially the rules regarding withdrawals. There are a few sites that have no play through on bingo, but the majority have 3x to 4x your deposit plus bonus. For those of you new to bingo what this means is and this is an example you deposit 50 and get 100% bonus so now you have 100, you must wager $300 before you can withdraw any money as any bonus money is non cashable. Also make sure to read everything as some sites you can not withdraw within 30 days of initial deposit.
Most sites also have chat games in which you can participate but you also must remember that these also count towards what you must wager. Now almost every bingo site has some sort of slot games you can also play and here we get into a different category of wagering requirements, Remember the 3x wagering requirements only applies to bingo but if you spin the slot machine only once the wagering requirement jumps to 12x your deposit and bonuses and any bonus bucks accrued so back to the example I used you deposit 50 get 100% bonus total $100 x 12 = $1200 you must wager before requesting a withdrawal.
I have used 100% as an example but a lot of sites offer higher 1st time deposit bonuses so whatever the bonus plus your deposit on BINGO ONLY is 3x or 4x deposit plus bonus to meet wagering requirements. Do the math, do your checking out the rules.

Also it is best to avoid sites that have huge deposit bonuses as the play through becomes horrendous. My advice to anyone deciding to try on line bingo is to read all the rules, read all the withdrawal requirements and decide for yourself where you want to play, check out forums to see if the site you have chosen has any bad or good reviews. It is up to you where you decide to play and where ever you decide to play I wish you Happy Bingoing.

Hope your grandma will have fun

My Mom is 90 ( age now limiting travel ) and used to love to play bingo at a local senier center except for the fact that there was no limit on how many cards a participant could play and also found that to be true at a large casino/bingo parlor . To have some playing machines with 45 cards while others play 4 cards ruins the experience for most .
Probably a silly question , but is there a good reliable honest online Bingo site with limits on number of cards played ( preferrably no more than can easily be played by older folks ) , legal for U.S , and which allows deposits via Money Gram and withdrawals paid via Cashier's Check ???? She likes to win , as do most , and is not strictly for " entertainment " . We can play at home for free for entertainment .

Thanks ,

Jamie

Holy Thread Resurrection! lol

There actually is.. On the World Bingo Network sites (one of which is BingoWorkz), one of the rooms is the "Fair & Square" Room... everyone in the room pays the same amount for the same amount of cards per game, and it is relatively inexpensive to play in that room, as no game usually costs more than $2.

EDIT - They don't take MoneyGram, but you can easily get a NetSpend card to deposit. As for withdrawals, I believe their only options are to e-wallets.

My thoughts :)

I believe that all of the bingo sites operated by CM accredited casinos are all closed to American players.

I suggest you AVOID any site on the 'World Bingo Network'
Their web sites attempt to gain control of port 18001 on your firewall.

I have never had a problem with them, their customer service is stellar and I have always been paid in a timely fashion.

In regards to opening port 18001, it is simply so it can communicate real-time with the server... I don't see any harm in it.

Also, if you are asked to open specific ports for programs, you should only open the ports for trusted programs. Sometimes these programs require these ports to be opened by the original programmers in order to communicate with servers.

It's their main corporate site that I found it happening at, they don't even offer the games there and therefore have no legitimate reason for wanting a port unobstructed.

Hi Roanan and Slotking ,

Thanks for the response . I am surprised to learn that there is such a thing as a room that has an " even " playing field with players using the same number of cards . Now if I can eventually find a reputable one that will accept MoneyGram ( easily accessible at Wal-Mart here as I recall ) and sends cashier's checks for withdrawals ( and is OK for U.S. players ) I might be able to provide Mom a fun bingo online game at home . A lot of senior citizens might take advantage of that !

Thanks ,

Jamie

fair and square bingo

Let me say that the idea of fair and square originates from the concept that all players have the same number of cards, in no way does it imply that a site or game is without houseplayers, the rng is"fair" or the card distribution is not mottled or corrupted.
I do not for one second beleive that there is not an existing and mutually beneficial arrangement of some sort between software providers and site owners. Bingo is a business and does very well, thank you. I have been remided on numerous occasions that bingo is...after all, gambling. Perhaps this is true for the depositing player, but if the site had to take on the same "chances" the player had of winning, there would be a whole lot less online gambling sites.
I see sites now offering promotions for deposits of anywhere from 100.00 in a week to 2500.00 in a month. Just a few years back it seemed 50.00 was a good amount to deposit and may have offered some playing time considered a good entertainment" value. Most sites are high roller if you want to have a snowball in hell chance of winning. There are always "fluke" wins, but generally maxing out is the only way to go to stay in step with the constant and regular winners.
If you can be happy with watching the same people win in order to chat and dab your own cards, then accept that and enjoy the "entertainment only" claim that sites flaunt at you to deter any ideas that they owe you anything that resembles the probability of luck, statistically or in actuality. Get yourself a WTG AGAIN macro and get comfy.
Sites are just as greedy as players....they want to win, and they are in the catbird seat. I am not saying you cant win, but you have to crash in on bingo with big bucks and a daring soul and be prepared to take all consequences. The timid and frugal will be the fluke winners barring some authentic lucky incident.
I would love to see a site with a minimal purchase buy in for every game, even if the pots were smaller. For those who truly want to play bingo for the fun (dabbing your own cards) and anticipation( increased chance of winning) involved, without overextending yourself, making a small circle of folks your online buds, you will have a tough time locating such an animal. Online bingo is a bulti billion dollar industry and growing every day.
If you are small time player use caution, accept that your chances of winning is minimal, learn to tolerate the same people winning on a daily basis, and most importantly, read ALL the rules carefully and ask questions if needed before you give your money to strangers.

Hi Dynamitewoman ,

Wow --what a name !!

Mom and her sister used to play at a retirement center here , but some folks used so many cards that they won most of the time . It would be nice to have a simple online site , but I am not surprised that it does not exist and am not shocked that underhanded methods are used to guarantee the house the lion's share . Seems a shame since the nature of gambling usually guarantees the house to be the big winner anyway even if totally fair and random . I'll just keep taking them locally , but not where they use those machines to play bunches of cards .

Guess I'll stick with my land-based Casino since I have done pretty well there with video poker . Even felt " famous " while they had my picture on the wall two different times . Seems ages and dollars ago now , but still have fairly good wins fairly often .

Thanks girl ,

Jamie
