big lottery win

It's funny 'cause it's true. :D Rents are now $3000 to $5000 a month as well in this area of Ontario, there was another news article about it today about bidding wars for rentals.
truth
i pay just shy of 2k
and my block is gobsmacked i pay that little

Wouldnt gamble ever again, whats the point when a win of a few or even tens of thousands wouldnt alter your lifestyle.
never understand comments like that tbh.
Whats the point of doing anything then if it doesn't affect your lifestyle?
Some people like to play for fun, I do. Winning say £500 doesn't change my lifestyle, but I still like getting them.
Just like people who sill go to work after winning millions on the lottery, using the logic above, whats the point, the £200 a week they get won't change their lifestyle.

We all have different reasons for gambling, some for fun, some for a diversion from lifes shit and some sadly out of desperation
and addiction, think i have have a bit of each over the years. Now i can afford to play purely for fun but there is little of that left now in
todays nanny state 1984 regulation strangled enviroment, so in my situation a big lottery win would not alter my life one bit,
certainly would not be tempted to play for silly stakes, far better to do something contructive with the money,

Jaromir Jagr (NHL at the time) was well known for his gambling. Not sure what kind of gambling but he lost millions.

Edit: Here's a list including Jagr

I think it depends on the circumstances of the person: if you win it and are the precipice of an addition it'll be hi ho silver to the winnings over a time. Other's might actually cut down on it as they'll get to be doing things that take up their time as i think a lot of folk might just play to pass the time etc.

Personally i'd still play but not at my current stakes, i don't think i'd get much fun out of it by playing on 20-40p - so you'd need to keep an eye on it.

Definitely wouldn't intentionally stop as that gives the impression i currently gamble to make money and, having won the lottery, my goals been achieved etc.

Might make SOW easier - just send them the Lottery email or press release. Knowing the Maltese casinos they'd probably still ask why did you send Aunt Betty 10k etc though: because i felt like it

We will have to restrict your account because you gambled on said lottery once a week and we now think you have a gambling problem ?

If I won several million I'd still play Montezuma, love the sound of those Aztec calendars dropping in and the feeling of joy when that bonus wheel grants you 25 spins!
I saw ur name beside the post and said i bet he says he'd roll max bet in Monte:laugh:

In fact, maybe even request they up it to 1000 quid spins

I did play a few spins at max £60.00 a while back and actually got a bonus, I thought here we go, megabucks incoming, but it paid exactly £1000, a nice sum of course, but disappointing when put in context, by comparison, I had a £60.00 bonus a few years back now on Raging Rhino and that paid £22,500 which shows it's all down to luck, whether you're playing at £60.00 a spin or £0.60 a spin.

One day i dream of getting BTG to up Bonanza to 100 quid

That dream will be my last

Cos i'll be dead as the the last 6 spins normally are
