Non-Bonus Complaint Betsafe/Skrill - unacceptable

Hey Gang

Made a deposit at Betsafe 14 hours ago.

It did not appear in my account, and live chat tells me it needs to be manually approved (even though the funds have left my account).

I still have no funds in my Betsafe account.

IMO this is unacceptable.

Is anyone else having this issue?

They have to pre-verify your deposit? What's next? :what:

It looks like the deposit that you have made is stuck, so I will have to send this to our finance department so that they can have a look at it.

Ummm....the whole "manual" process should have kicked off 14 hours ago, but apparently nobody forwarded it to finance. :mad:

It seems there is an issue with the Skrill-to-casino interface with some operators, hence the deposits getting "stuck".

It happens from time to time, and I was told by a few operators that it is caused by Skrill updating the system on their end and not notifying the operators about it, or in enough time to upgrade to stop these deposits "sticking". You would think they would have sorted simple stuff like that out years ago wouldn't you?
 
I have had this myself a couple of times now in the last 3 years, and sometimes even on my last gambling funds, so really bad timing...

Very irritating and indeed something you would expect to be ironed out, throughout the years.
It is not always Skrill, sometimes the operator is to blame, and sometimes (if you used that) a third party like Ideal with which you fund your Skrill-account.

Not to bring your hopes "down" but there have been a few occasions where i had to wait more then a week for my money..

All I can advise you is to be patient. I've had several instances where I deposited money, and it didn't arrive immediately at the casino. So basically it was getting stuck due an error or late delivery somewhere in the middle. They need a confirmation to update your account most likely, but it consumes some time. Had this happen to me with a Neteller deposit few years ago. Took them 2 days to solve this, but eventually the money always got there:cool:
 
Would be nice if they gave you a no deposit bonus with a very low wagering requirement and no max cashout in the meantime. I can't stand wanting to play, and then not being able to due to an error. They can see the transaction so it's not like you're gaming them, and I'm sure you're probably a regular or semi-regular customer.

Enough hoops to jump through as it is these days. When you're ready to play you're ready, and will likely go elsewhere to get some play time. Only problem is some of your playing funds is tied up now.

Doesn't have to be huge, just something to truly say thank you for your patience. I can name a few casinos that would have handle the situation this way. Just sayin. :D

I remember when a deposit I did using Neteller at 32Red were stuck like that. They could see it so they gave me the same amount to play with, I think it was $50. Suddenly in the middle of my play I got another $50 :eek2:
I immediately told them that it had been credited now so if they could remove it for me...no way. I could keep that too since I had done nothing wrong.
That is Customer Service ;)

Hehe, i also had this at 32Red, some other casinos failed there, but like i said, sometimes it's not the Casino, and then it is not really necessary to comp, but of course still appreciated:)

@ Nifty: already 24 hrs? sounds like a Skrill issue, i assume you will be contacted by the Casino in a bit that will tell you it's not theirs to pursue, and then you probably will have to submit a ticket with Skrill yourself :rolleyes:
Better do that now if you already haven't, and then they will pursue it.

Did you try and fund the Casino from an exisiting Skrill balance, or did it involve a third party like your bank, Ukash, Ideal or whatnot?
 
I had same problem when i made deposit with Skrill months ago :mad: But they did sort it out in end....but after 2 days!!!

Had to send them screen shot of skrill account and more. Never got anything just a sorry from support.
 
So my advise is to get screen shot sent to them with proof of the deposit Nifty. Might speed it up for you. Still bad it took just over 48 hours in my case.
