Betfred newer slots wont work

Games effected: Football fans, Goddess of life, Wings of gold, Lucky panda, the Jazz club, Vickingmania, Hot gems, Dolphin cash, Cops and bandits.

I have been able to download these new games in the download casino but it gets to a certain spot on the loading bar at the bottom and then a pop up message comes up saying "Sorry, there is no response from the gaming server. Please contact customer support at support@betfredcasinodotcom for immediate assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."

I tried uninstalling and deleting anything leftover even in the registry that i could find and updated and deleted old java and flash and temp files and what ever else i thought may of helped, but nothing would work.

It does the same thing on my laptop and a month or so later i tried it on my sisters pc when she was staying at my house and it does the same thing on hers also.

All the other games work fine.

I emailed Betfred on 10 April and sent them the screenshot and told them in detail what was happening and also asked if maybe the newer games are not available to me because maybe they are doing what bet365 started doing before they dropped Aussie players and baring certain games from us.

I got an email back a week later on 17th asking can i please confirm the exact time and date the problem occurred, so i emailed back stating what i had already said, that it happens every time i open those games but i opened one again anyway and gave date time.

Got an email the next day on 18th with the exact same copy and paste question from the 17th, to confirm time and date... told them i had already received this email yesterday and so i copy and pasted what i had sent before and sent again.

Receive an email on 21st saying they have now forwarded the information i provided to the software provider.

Anyway finally heard back from them on 12th May asking to make sure i have the latest version of flash player (which i did have) and then to try deleting my cookies.

I just forgot about it as it was taking so long for not so helpful replies but now there are even more new games that i can not open and its starting to bug me again.

I am going to email Betfred again but in the meantime I guess i just want to know if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas of what else could help?

I am really baffled why it wont work on 3 different PC's and i even thought maybe it had something to do with my modem so i used my mobiles modem and tried also and it still had no effect.

It's like those games are blocked from me for some reason, that's why i wanted to know if my country was restricted as i know betfred are in the Aussie sporting market and maybe they had some licensing issues or something along the lines of what happened at bet365.

I downloaded another playtec casino and the games worked fine, but i would rather not play there as it's not accredited and i dont want to run into problems come withdrawal time.

I don't know of any other playtec that is good to play at that has fast withdrawals and allows Aussies and has the new games if i cant get this fixed. :(

I'm Australian and I just tried and Dolphin Cash worked for me first go.
Maybe the problem was temporary and exactly what the error said - server not responding.

No, it has been this way since the first new games came out... hot gems, lucky panda and such.

I was never able to get into them, It downloaded them fine but when it went to the loading page it would go to the same exact point on the loading bar for all of those games and just stop and have the pop up message.

Before and after that happens, i am still able to play all of the other slots with no problems so for some reason its blocking just the new games. :confused:

I emailed Betfred again yesterday but have not received a reply yet. I find they do take some time to reply to me, days if not weeks :(
 
Game issues

Hi RustyRoo,

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with our new games.

This one has me stumped, to be honest, given none of our other players are reporting issues. Can you private message me your Betfred username; might be a broken game round somewhere that's causing this which I can fix locally.

I'll also take your issue direct to Playtech. Will need your username for that too, so I can point them to a particular time when the games failed to load for youo.

Again, apologies but lets see if we can get to the bottom of this.

As for a particular time when the games fail, well it is every time i have logged in as the first thing i do is check to see if for some reason they work and then if i am depositing i just move on to all the other games that do work.

I have never been able to open and play any of the games i listed, not just on one PC but 3. So maybe it is linked to my account some how as i downloaded a different casino with the games and they opened for me with no problems.
 
As a quick update: I couldn't find a broken game round, which can sometimes cause problems connecting to the game severs. Playtech are now involved; we hope to have some answers soon.

I really hope they can find something this time as i received an email on 11th May saying the software provider got back to them and said they couldn't find any anomalies on their side.

Fingers crossed this time and thank you for your involvement in helping me get this fixed Aaron, its much appreciated. :)
 
Maybe some kind of anti-virus/anti-malware program interfering with the connection? Try disabling any programs like that temporarily and see if it works. Don't forget to switch them back on!
 
Each PC i tried it on had a different antivirus but i did try disabling when it first happened on the main PC with no luck.

I got excited when I received an email from Betfred support last night but nothing was written in it besides the previous correspondence :what:

Maybe they have some news to help or maybe it was sent by mistake, either way i emailed it back to them and let them know it was empty and to send again if it wasn't sent in error.
 
I have a similar problem with some cryptologic games, all the new RTG games and a few Playtech, my Playtech problems are mostly cured by using the flash games site when possible, some of the other ones are cured by using Opera as an alternative default browser, all other problems are cured via a costly and time consuming manner - walking to the end of my garden path and delicately applying a 14lb sledgehammer to my now defunct hard drive, although time/money consuming, nothing gives me more pleasure in the hardware>Roy stakes, j/k aside try the former may-cure remedies gl;).

I just saw they now have one of the new slots Lucky Panda on the flash casino.

Tried it and i got the same message that comes up in the download casino. It must have something to do with my account some how otherwise why would i be able to play these games in another casino on the same PCs?

At least I don't need a sledgehammer i guess although it can be rather fun letting your frustration out on a piece of crap that has caused you so much frustration and hell...Been there done that before :D

First of all, let me commend you on the amount of information which you provided to describe and detail the problem that you are experiencing, and the amount of testing that you performed on your end. This is so far above the norm of what I receive for problem reporting that it would be a welcome relief.

Yours is the only kind of problem over which I ever lose sleep. I have logs and more logs for tracking server side problems, and even additional logs for identifying any internet latency issues once the server has received the call.

However, if a Player experiences a problem like the one you've reported, or the ones that I have seen reported recently for NetEnt, or any sort of problem experienced by the Player that is totally client side, what I suspect they do is to just leave the Casino. I think that's what I might do - rather than go to the time and trouble to report the problem, I would just leave.

So, again I sincerely commend you on the time and trouble to which you went to analyze the problem and report the resulting details to Betfred.

I gave up a few months ago and just played other games but then more new games started coming out and they were just sitting there in the lobby teasing me so i had to try again.:oops:

There is only one more thing I can think of, as this appears to be a time-out issue try this - Make Firefox your default browser and install this addon - ReloadEvery, as soon as you start downloading the game set the reload to the minimum default time (every 5 seconds) if you get a timeout pop-up do a custom reload at every second, this is the last option I can think of, hope it works as I can`t think of anything else:(.

Yw, I know only to well how frustrating these problems can be, I remember a particular problem related with Vegas Tech casinos and flash based bonus rounds when playing at the download version, I even posted this problem at the Adobe forum, as soon as I hit the Pyramid bonus on the Cleopatra slot the window would just go all black, Adobe said it was not a flash based problem and couldn`t help, just by chance I was bored one day and registered at Liberty Slots from a link I received via an email which I had opened using Opera, long story short I played the daily free slot tourney which was Cleopatra, hit the Pyramid feature and it worked perfectly, I then tried playing Cleopatra using Firefox and boom, the problem was still there, I ran Firefox in safe mode, I disabled every addon, etc, etc, to no avail, proving to me beyond doubt it is a flash registry setting problem and unless you get the relative hot fix for it, the only solution is a fresh windows re-install which I really cba to do until it this hard drive takes me a step to far and I administer the hard drive attitude adjuster technique that I explained about earlier ;).

In these circumstances I think the least Betfred can do is let you try to register another account, but not on your PC as it may be an IP thing, your exact details on another PC would be the way to go ;).

Anyway`s hope you find a cure, i`m positive Aaron will be doing his damnest to help also ;).
 
My problem has finally been solved, thanks to Aaron and his trusty side kick while he is away on holidays Duncan. :thumbsup:

I got the go ahead last week for my husband to open an account to see if it was account specific, and he was able to open all of the games i couldn't, on the same PC.

When he signed up, i noticed it didnt have US$ as a currency choice so we chose AU$.

My account was in US$ so i emailed and mentioned maybe it had something to do with the currency and was told they were going to get clearance to open a new account up for me in AU$ and see if it worked.

They opened me up a new account in AU$ and sure enough, it worked. But i then went to deposit and Neteller was not an option in the cashier. :(

I then got back to them and let them know it worked but i couldn't deposit with Neteller, my only deposit method i use and they came back and said they checked with the fraud departement and it was correct... Neteller is not an option in AU$. :rolleyes:

I asked if maybe it could of just been a problem with my actual account and if they could make a new account in US$ but they said they don't offer US$ for new accounts anymore, that's why it wouldn't show when my husband opened an account.

They said they could open another new account for me and i had the choice of either Euro or Pounds. I chose Euro and now finally everything works great. :D

I just hope now that somewhere down the line i don't get pulled up for having multiple accounts or have delays in getting paid because 4 accounts had been opened. Duncan did say he was going to delete the others so maybe this will solve the issue.

I would just like to thank Aaron and Duncan, as they kept me informed and did anything and everything they could to help me. Thanks guys :notworthy

It seems the cause was not technical at all, but "policy". Perhaps if a more accurate error message had been coded this would have been sorted on day one. The error was that these games were not available to US Dollar players.

Why Neteller doesn't work for AU Dollar accounts is "policy gone crazy", as there is clearly nothing to stop the SAME player who has been prevented from defrauding the casino via AU$ from using Euros.

This issue of Aussies and Neteller has been raised before, and it became clear that Neteller doesn't have an issue with Australian customers (yet) using it for gambling. This is STILL going to drive away the recreational players the casino wants, yet the ones it doesn't want will know that to get around this supposed anti fraud measure is blindingly simple, and will use a different currency.

If the fraud problem is the AU$, the primary cause is going to be Aussie players, so the logical anti fraud measure would be additional restrictions, such as requiring document verification from the start, rather than after the first withdrawal.

I don't think it was an error to do with the account being in US dollars. I myself have a betfred account in US$ and played the new games there myself this week. I had a few errors with them sending me a server error after about 5 minutes play on them stating to check my internet connection but.

Vinyl is this no AU$ deposits with Neteller a common thing? I recently made a Neteller account in AU$ to use at the few casinos I have accounts at in $AU (90% of my casinos are in US$ which i use Skrill for)
