I have already posted a complaint about this on sportsbookreview and received consensus there that BetEd did not validate their assertion that I manipulated a bug in their software to make a profit. Since BetEd continues to deny payment I am propagating this as a warning to anyone else who would play there. In fact, BetEd has had at least 4 recently reported seizures of casino winnings on alleged casino software abuse. To save myself some time I will simply post a link to the SBR thread here:

*snip*

I did not cheat and I believe that the majority of people who read through the thread will reach the conclusion that I am most likely telling the truth.

ThrillX software. If you somehow managed to get one over on them, SERVES THEM RIGHT. There are concerns that ThrillX software is "rigged", rather than random. This would explain why there are many "exploits" being alluded to in that discussion.
UK Fruit machines use "rigged" or "compensating" software to guarantee operators a set profit over a certain cycle. This has lead to NUMEROUS exploits being found by players, and most of these exploits involve taking a win that is NOT recorded against the tally kept by the software compensator, which leads to the machine paying more than it is set to.

This one looks like shoddy programming, and possibly something they know about given how quickly your rather normal run in Blackjack came to their attention. It is as though they KNOW this is possible, so have set their system quite tightly to alert them to the possibility that a player has spotted it.

If this is a genuine exploit, I'll bet they are going to get hit by even MORE players trying the software to see if it works, and they may be a little more careful NOT to trigger their automated stop loss system.

It's a salutary lesson to operators, DON'T use "rigged" casino software, it will bite you in the ass - especially when a UK "Fruitie" player gets wind of it;)

don't trust beted software

I don't trust their software either, especially for BJ. I have lost repeatedly there. Admittedly, I usually play rather large ($20 to $100 per hand) but to test the last few 100% bonuses I played between $2 and $5 and never came out ahead. I was lucky if I cashed anything out of my original deposit of $500.

I won't play them anymore. If you play there, stick to sports, they can't fix the games!

Poster Response

To respond to vinylweatherman I can assure you this is the first time I have heard of any such allegations of BetEd rigging their software. Frankly I am curious where he heard such things. It could be true for all I know but my play is not consistent with any software exploit. I played hundreds of hands and BetEd can cite only 1 hand where I lost my internet connection (on a microscopic mathematical advantage no less). Frankly I wonder how it would even make sense to play software that you knew was rigged against you even if you could somehow figure out how to circumvent some of the adjustments made against you. For such a thing to be profitable BetEd would have to program a compensating win mode designed to give the player wins. If such were not the case the best a player could hope for would be to evade the rig against him and get normal odds. At any rate I don't know of any players experimenting with casino software looking for exploits years after opening an account almost exclusively for the sports betting. If a player did get wind of rumors like you have mentioned I think they would also have gotten wind of the fact that BetEd is not paying out. I should also add that it would seem unlikely that BetEd has some instant automated notification system in place when a player hits a medium sized win streak like I hit. My winnings were accrued over a couple days time and it took a while after my withdraw request for BetEd to say anything.
