Bet365 close my account without any notice -Due to the nature of your business, a decision has been made to close your account with immediate effect. The decision has been made in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and your account has been closed with no option to reopen.I, very surprised, answered the following-Excuse me, but I work in a restaurant, I'm a chef. I didn't know that chefs shouldn't play in a casino. Is there some kind of mistake? I live in the UK, I have permanent status, I work on a permanent contract and I pay taxes and fees.I am employed,full-time with an employment contract. And I play at the casino with money from my legal salary. So I really don't understand, because I don't have my own business, I'm a chef in a restaurant.Something is wrong if that's the reason. Just to add that I mainly play at stakes of 0.20 and 0.40 pence. They didn't ask for my bank statements, nothing. They just closed my account without warning.I've been playing for over a year, deposited and withdrawn without any problems until now. Does anyone know what's going on?

Yes, Snorky is correct. Casinos and Bookmakers can close any account at any time, if they so wish to do so. This happens a lot more with sports betting and telephone betting accounts, although customers are usually at first limited to the size of the bet they can place.

Sorry to say, there is no recourse and sadly you have to accept Bet365's decision.

Wow that is interesting. I knew UKGC licensed operators performed soft credit searches, but did not realise they also used this as part of their RG initiatives. I thought it just formed part of the KYC process.
they do all this checks if you win big they still ask for SOW lol

I won about £80 over the period of a year or so on Bet365 and I'm pretty sure that was the reason they closed my account which they specified as "due to the nature of your business with Bet365". I know this because I asked them to be specific several times and it was nothing to do with my job (business). It was purely because I had won some money on their platform and their trading team review accounts that win money and they close them in line with their T&C 17.1 "We may close, limit or suspend your Account at any time". Which basically means we are an entertainment platform and not a betting platform - the whole point of betting is that customers believe they are able, through good knowledge, decisions and hunches to win money. Bet3656 are basically saying by their actions, "no, we will take your money in return for the entertainment value and if you happen to win, we will close you down as you are a risk to our business model' They are bad faith actors because they advertise themselves as a betting app and I believe that they should be held to account for misleading ALL their customers on this point. Class action stuff!
