Beach Life jackpot hit -- $4.2 million!

Hi everyone,

FYI, Playtech's Beach Life progressive jackpot was hit last night. It finally popped at $4,238,508, which makes it one of the highest online jackpots in history.

I have been recording online jackpot data for over 2 years at the site in my signature, and this Beach Life jackpot is the 3rd largest hit I've seen. Only Mega Moolah ($5,556,758.68 on April 18, 2008) and Millionaires Club ($5,898,352 on May 15, 2007) had higher wins in the last 2 years. There was one other Mega Moolah winner, in Nov. 2007, but the amount won was in Rand (R4.3 million), which at the time equated to roughly $640,000 or 313,000.

The current Beach Life jackpot is around $56,000, as of this post.

I have never seen anyone post a screenshot of Beach Life in the winner screenshots thread and have actually never heard of this slot until now.

Where was it hit?

You rarely see WSs in this forum because Playtech does not accept play from USA. Others like Simmo, KK and VWM dont play regularly at Playtech either. I went to winajackpot.com but they havent recorded the current win yet. The last huge win at Beach Life was $4.8M at African Palace (big rogue) on 22 July 2007.

This Beach Life jackpot may have been hit at Joyland Casino, according to "TheBoyMitchell" over at CAP (he works for a Playtech affiliate program).

Also, a few hours ago, someone hit Playtech's Gold Rally progressive jackpot and won over $1.7 million. (I don't yet know where this one was hit.) Two millionaires in 4 days! :yahoo:

As of now, the highest Playtech progressive is "Megaball," at $248,176.

What I do know, is that someone named Teng B. won the $1.7 million Gold Rally jackpot at Mansion Casino. The $4.2 million Beach Life jackpot was hit at Joyland Casino by someone named Sylvia P. (Source: WinAJackpot.com)
