Barney to introduce repeal - should US players return?

I see that Barney will introduce a repeal of UIGEA next month.

However, I have been away from online gaming for a long time now. I don't want to return just to be suckered. What is the state of the industry. Are there strong player protections? Is a card layed, a card played with none of this "bonus abuse" nonsense? Will there be or is there now a new "Neteller"? Are transaction fees free or low?

I suspect poker will be good from the get-go but I don't know about online casinos.

Were there ever? Only if you're playing at a casino based in somewhere like England would you have a shot at a decent regulator.

Quicktender is a common ewallet which has still bee operating in the US. Presumably, if online gambling goes totally legit, more ewallets would open up.
