Hey All!

I've not seen this new game mentioned yet so thought I'd start a discussion. Microgaming (via Crazy Tooth Studio) release a game today called "The Incredible Balloon Machine" - It's like nothing I've seen before. It's not a slot IMO (despite being called one), nor instant win, it's... erm.... a balloon machine!

I'm undecided personally, I've played for a while in Demo mode and after initially thinking "well, this is a bit slow" - I found myself still playing 30 minutes later! Managed a 32x multiplier:

Pop your thoughts in the thread and I'll dish out some free spins (spins? inflations?) to some of those that contribute.

Hi Mark,

Its been mentioned in this thread January Game Releases by Microgaming

Had a go and agree, quite addictive. Funnily enough ive played similar in an online game designed to test your thinking under pressure for recruitment as a prison officer.

Ah thanks, missed that. Hopefully the offer of a freebie may tempt a bit more discussion here. :) Game is now live on desktop, we're just working on mobile.

Interesting! I could see that kinda game driving me mad after a while , but also quite addictive. I gave it a go in demo mode and managed a 70x ish win - but would i have that kinda nerve playing with real money Im not so sure! Definately need nerves to hang in there I think!

Edit: didnt realise there was a bonus too - game appeared to hang on me, so i refreshed it and was put into a bonus straight away. Popping balloons!

Not seen this one before looks interesting can't play at 32red for some reason I join and get blocked so god knows never had any issues think I've only deposited once then got. Blocked nevermind looks good though sure it on other good sites

Tried it about 2 months ago for a couple of hours as always with new slots I am about to review and decided to not write it

Thought it was a snoozefest once the novelty period faded away. It is a niche product that will find some fans but I do not think that Crazy Tooth/MG will be hot on their heels to produce a sequel.

But then I saw MG hailing Seven 7s as the holy grail of future slotting, hence, I wouldn't be surprised to see more of the drivel from Crazy Tooth.

Sorry Mark, not my cup of tea :)

Just playing it now on cough videoslots (I know) seems. OK nothing special just a skills game (a dare you go. Any further) bit of fun

It bored me to tears, I even got distracted and forgot to take my finger of the button and pop!

The bonus round is a bit tedious too on first impressions but I suppose some people might find it entertaining - it's definitely different!

Played this game for 10 seconds, and as a result I didnt include it on our roadmap.

Haha fair enough, we tend to let our players make the decision - new games get a go regardless of our thinking and if it doesn’t click it gets archived to the search bar. :)

I just had a go in demo, as rarely play at red now due to well you know, anyway I quite like it its basically the "Bomb" game tick tick £5 tick tick £20 boom lose it all lol

I like the concept........

However I couldn't find anywhere in the help files, things I would have expected to find like Optimal strategy or best way to play?

Best guess is you just take each balloon as far as you can ? At least as a player that's how I would expect it to work or how could you guarantee at least the expected RTP ?

There is of course a few other ways you can do it but I think the player should be given more info towards optimal strategy on this type of game.

Otherwise if a player constantly takes the offer below what they were going to be awarded they would constantly be below expected RTP ?

TBH these are the sort of questions I would want answered before I went anywhere near it with real money!

But thanks @Mark_32Red for bringing a new game to our attention. :D And I hope this is the sort of feedback you was after......

I played the same way, playing each until the pop - but I presume for those who don’t do that the wins will come more frequently? Almost like you can make your own volatility?

Well that dear sir sounds very like your saying it will compensate in some way?....... tut tut lol

but there's loads of slots where you can alter the volatility, often by choosing the amount of FS within a bonus round for example

The game doesn’t allow you to “pop” all the balloons and some pay out at max “inflation” - I assume that’s so it operates under the advertised RTP? If you could simply purposely lose every spin I’m not sure how that would be approved?

I played it for a few minutes at Energy. I don’t think I will again - it’s a fun concept, but the play is a bit dull.
