Balloon Fiesta 2008

It is that magic time of year here in New Mexico. Balloon Fiesta time.

These wonderful balloonists are here for 10 days. They come from all over the globe and everyone puts aside all of the nonsense and just enjoys the sights. Spectacular!

Thanks for an absolute visual treat, Cynthia - if I'd known this was on I would have extended my recent visit to the States just to be there and marvel at these graceful and imaginative creations.

I've only managed to do two hot-air balloon trips but both provided lasting memories of an incredible experience.
