 Has anyone ever won anything large at bodog? Has anyone ever gotten much above even here?? This is not a casino complaint by any means, but I'm just interested in hearing some stories about them, good or bad. I've been playing there for the last few months now, with really predictable results (unfortunately, predictably bad!) on a consistent basis. I'm not casting any aspertions (sp?), because most everyone here has had generally good things to say. I'm just fact finding is all. I reiterate, this is not a casino complaint, but I just can't seem to get up very much at any of the games, and usually are down at all times until the fat lady sings!!

I never played there, but they have a good reputation for paying, so somebody must be winning! :)

Bodog

Bodog is a huge company.

They are quite big due to their marketing department. They have invested millions on advertising.

They are honest, I have never seen an issue regarding them.

I don't respect how the CEO has become so loud and thinking he is some sort of Celebrity. Good for him, good advertisement also, but I am just tired of seeing him every 20 minutes on every article related to the industry.

Bodog was small when I started in the business.. over the last 2 - 3 years it started making an huge impact on the scene. They are known for being the best book on the web. Even some rumors I've heard that they are bigger now days than BOS, Sportsbook or SBG....

They run a good business and honestly I don't believe they will take a risk on scamming customers... A good operation invests their efforts on becoming stronger on service and reliable systems, not by messing with customers' funds or accounts.

The only bad thing I have ever heard about Bodog is their awful poker software they seem to be in love with. I cant imagine Bodog would rig their software, they have too much to lose. Chalk it up to the fact you are suppose to lose over time and that is what is happening.

I've never played their casino but the poker seems like is it 100% legit to me. I doubt any place that cashes a player out in 10-20 minutes during business hours is looking to be shady. I think the cashout speed in itself shows how cash strong they are.

I'm sure that they pay as well. :)

After all the deposits that I had made there, I gave up on the casino because (like you) I could never get above my deposits. Well, that's not entirely true. For every $100 deposit I'd make, I could perhaps get up about $5-10. Same routine though, it was all sink after that. :what: Bad luck? I guess so because that's all it could have been. But I wasn't too eager to throw more money into it. Even more irritating was the fact that I was playing VP (single-line JoB) on low bets (.25-1.25), and none of my $100 deposits lasted more than 30 minutes!!!

Like you, I'm not doubting that they pay, and I'm sure that they're a quality outfit (word-of-mouth). I though, will not be going back based on that horrible luck. In my opinion based on my experience, there's too much DOG in boDog (woof!!!).

If a clutch player like "Reggie Miller" can't do well there, neither can I. ;)

Appreciate your broaching this topic -- I thought it was just me that couldn't win jack at Bodog Casino! And I love RTGs and generally at least break even. Alas, that was not to be true at Bodog..........

Their games are nice and yes, they pay.But I havent won too much. But I am sure they pay big winnings, too. They know marketing, and they know the power of big winners.

Appreciate the feedback. Misery loves company you know?? Can anyone also fill me in on these "random jackpot" progressive things?? Seems like some sort of lottery if it is random. Anyone ever won one of these?? Bodog has become the blackhole money pit of the online gaming world for me. Seriously considering quitting them if my luck doesn't change soon. I'm afraid Reggie will come out of retirement before I win anything at Bodog!!

I've never won one of the random jackpots at BoDog...but I have won quite a bit on slots....that is until my ISP began to block anything RTG. Always been payed very quickly through Neteller. I've also more than once given Calvin grief over his peurile chicky-boom advertising.

Jackpots

I am not much a fan of RTG...

Check Microgaming, Playtech and Cryptologic Casinos...

All of them offer huge jack pots...

The Goldrally jack pot of Playtech is very famous... on Microgaming they have Major Millions.... Both of them have been hit several times during the last months...

Cryptologic has become a very powerful software. They have comic book charactersslot machines which I believe have been a great idea. Their jackpots are great as well.

Make a research on slot machines... you will find tons of info..

My humble opinion, Playtech is the one and only

Really watchdog? Playtech seems to be very upopular with most of the posts I've read here. You certainly seem to stand alone on this pick. I really like the RTG games, but just can't seem to win on them at all. If things don't improve soon, I will dump them and give one of the others a try. Thanks for the input though! Still haven't heard from anyone about these random jackpots that they show as a progressive on the screen. I wonder if anyone really wins them, and how it is applied to your balance if you do. Then again, I get the feeling noone really ever wins those either at Bodog. I'm getting really dis-illusioned with the whole online gaming world, as aside from never winning at Bodog, I'm not having any luck anywhere regardless of software. I realize that the odds are against you to begin with, but I play several times a day at different sites and I don't ever get up much anywhere anymore. I'm not trying to pick on Bodog, but they have been by far the worst for me lately. I must be the most unlucky person in the universe, I guess.

Pacer, that is just how slots are. Out of maybe 40 trips to our local casino, we came out ahead maybe 2 times and lost the rest of the times. That is just the reality of playing slots. You are no more unlucky than the rest of us suckers (i mean folks). :)

Hahaha... uh... Ha... um...

Hmmm... I've sometimes thought of myself and have told people that I am a "Professional Gambler", sadly, but I think you hit this one on the head "paul02085". "Professional Sucker" seems to fit MUCH better. :(

Cue a hopeless and lost "johnsteed" jumping off the roof of his apartment building, only to land in a dumpster loaded with RTG coupons...

Yep, that's about how I feel anymore. Haven't won anything in so long that I almost don't remember what it's like!! They say you can't win if you don't play, but it seems that you can't win if you do play also!!! SUCKERS is right, maybe I should just bag it altogether. It's not just slots here either. I can't even win at video poker at this place! I have a feeling that if they offered a 50-50 odds game like "flip a coin", I'd call heads and tails would come up 9 out of 10 times!!!! Feel like Rodney Dangerfield these days, NO RESPECT I TELL YA!!

"I called a girl and she said, 'Come over, no one's home'. I came over ... no one was home!! OHHHHHHH!!!"

Gotta love Rodney ... of course, not quite as bad as Andrew Dice Clay. ;)

How could anyone wonder why casinos make money? :)

If you're feeling unlucky, and if gambling is no longer "fun" for you - then why do you continue to do it? Step away from ALL gambling - including this forum - and take a nice break. Or visit a brick-and-mortar casino.

Sorry the topic pissed you off dickens. Have you been losing too or are you affiliated with bodog or something?? I am just giving honest feedback on how a particular site is playing lately. Drop the hostility already, if you don't think there should be honest conversation at a gambling forum, maybe you're the one that should stay away. Have a nice day already and get over yourself!!!

Its tru

Pacers31, you are on a battle you can win...

You can check all the game payouts from all casinos and all of them will tell you they are between 96% and 98%.... even if its true, don´t follow that.

Example: Black Jack, actually black jack is a game with a huge payout percentage. Casinos make money from this game because of volume, not because is a ripoff. The key is keep people playin. After some hours, all of them will end up leaving some. Probably at a big casino only $1 or $0.50 are made from every $100 wagered in black jack... But think on big proportions. During one month, when $4.000.000 have been wagered only at one black jack table, make the numbers and see how many dollars the casino has taken from that.

Regarding Jack Pots, I honestly don´t know how RTG jackpots work. On playtech and microgaming they are shared within all casinos. So, when ever someone hits a jackpot is announced everywhere. A couple of months ago some guy won the Goldrally jack pot at Casino King, there was an article about him there.

I am sure that informing the casino population, with facts that can be proven of course, of the big winners of your casino helps keeping their customers satisfied. Send an email to bodog in case they have never posted anything about their casino winners.

I recommend you to learn 3 card poker, and Jacks or Better... by learning a good strategy on these games you might hit some big $$$$. Personally I find slots to be boring

I have neither been losing, nor am I affiliated with bodog - nor am I "pissed off".

I find it ironic that posters will complain about continually losing - saying something along the lines of "I haven't won in all the times I have played there" - yet will continue playing. If you're playing recreationally - or if you've experienced success there in the past - I can understand, but wouldn't it make more sense to simply STOP playing?

As for your "honest feedback", it's anecdotal at best. You've simply said that you haven't won there - it's not as if you've provided any sort of statistics (such as the thread on doubling at English Harbour).

o.k., enough is enough. This will be my final word on this thread. Look, all I did was pose a question as to whether anyone has been winning at bodog. I further explained that I have been having a hard time winning anywhere lately. I posted this in the ONLINE CASINO section of this site. The online casino section is for such things as players experiences with online gaming. Instead of sharing his experiences with bodog, dickens chose to psycoanalyze my online gaming. Just wanted feedback, not some online "psychiatrist wannabe" telling me how to gamble or not gamble online. So, have a nice day dickens. Candidly, yours!
