Avatar Question

Silly question, when I go to complete my profile, and I go to select an Avatar, I get a maximum size of 50 X 50 that it will accept. I notice many members with much larger avatars, am I missing something?
Completely irrelevant, and not related to gaming in any way, just I would like to use an image that is 150 X 113.

That is because you are still a "newbie member".
Once you "rise up" in the ranks, so to speak, you will get more rights, can add a signature, and increased size avatars
