Auto-verifying casinos?

Can any players share the names of casinos they have played at recently where they have been automatically verified and able to withdraw without having to submit any such documents? I haven't joined a new casino for a while as I do not currently have photo id, and figured I may as well stick to my established safe options... but I'd love to try a new SUB or two if I could be reasonably sure I could be automatically verified, or at worst, verified by birth certificate+utility bills.

How about GUTS and Betat? I see they are being recommended lots here at the moment, do they need documents for every player?

Some bookmakers allow you to pop in the shop after opening the account and give them your id and they sort it out for you. Done that with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power in the past.

I think you'll find every casino will want docs if you win over a certain amount either in one go, or over time.

I guess none can auto-verify your documents, but atleast here in Norway we have a system first made for online banking, with a device that generates a unique code every time +a password, that you can sign online contracts etc with instantly. We do also have a kind of social security number that provide some safety, and shops will send you goods on credit to your social registered adress if you use it.

There are plenty who will pay-out without KYC until the 3k condition is reached of total withdrawals, the max they can do without photo ID/docs verification. They pay these with proof from the electoral roll, credit checks and phone details so are 99% sure even without KYC.

I can name tens that have paid me without in the past, but to avoid any funny stuff from readers it would be responsible of me not to I think.....

You mentioned Guts etc. and while they will pay out on small withdrawals with no need to send id once you reach a certain level or withdraw a few times they will also ask for it. The only places that never ask for id normally for uk players would be all the uk bookmaking casinos like Ladbrokes, William hill coral etc as they only ask uk players for id normally if they cant verify them from information supplied. 32reds also a casino ive never needed id for as again they verified me from address etc in an online search.

As paul7388 has said above many of the bigger UK Bookmakers use very similar verification software with high hit rates for automatic verification for UK residents (around 90%+ in most cases). Success rates are dependent on how long you've lived at your current address, utility bills that you have in your name, if you've registered to vote with that address and some other factors. It's not guaranteed but if you're at your address 1 year or more, if you have telephone, electricity bills etc in your own name, if you're registered to vote etc you've a very good chance of passing first time. I'd say be careful to enter you address correctly too as, as its automatic verification, some have trouble with apartments or flat numbers etc or even post code formats (adding the space versus not adding the space).

Coral have a post code finder on the registration page which will help by auto populating the address in the ideal format which has reduced the need for documents dramatically with us. We also offer the new 'Connect' card which allows you to deposit & withdraw in shop without the need to register a credit or debit card.

Any of the uk based sites seem fine , the likes of labrokes, coral , skybet , william hill etc , Sportsbooks primarily but with games and casino areas , Never needed any for of i.d to play or withdraw from these , And that probably goes for the vast majority of other uk casinos to

I'm in the same boat as the OP as I have no photographic ID.

I know 3 or 4 years back when I joined 32Red they were able to verify me through being on the UK electoral roll, not sure if they can still do that but as you're from the UK, if you are on the electoral roll, it's worth a shot.

This sounds pretty good, but many people now have online utility and banking, so nothing comes by post any more apart from the odd marketing letter or two. Although everybody has to register to vote at the age of 18, only the "head of household" will have all the bills and other things in their name. It's common for companies and councils to deal with a designated head of household, hence many adult members of a household may be on the electoral roll, but have no household bills in their name, only their personal bills and banking are likely to be in their name, more likely their mobile phone contract billing, which is not generally accepted anyway.

What players like the OP need to know is that once they pass electronic checks, they can trust that they won't suddenly find the casino coming back after a couple of years of play claiming they now need a load of other documents that they don't have. This is not often the case as players often think they are OK having passed the electronic checks, and then they are ambushed with a request for documentation that they don't have, and then have to spend days, even weeks, getting hold of, and it can be expensive.

It is the UK government that decided that we would have this electronic system, rather than "identity papers" that are issued routinely to all citizens in most other countries. Too often casinos blame the players for how the government has decided to run things, whereas the only say a player has in all of this is a single vote in once constituency every 4 to 5 years.

Vinyl I was just saying that majority of british based casinos can automatically verify the majority of uk players.So in doing so there is no need to have any paper copies of bills as they wont need to ask for them. Obviously there is the odd exception but I personally don't know of anyone that's ever had to supply documents to any of them including friends and family that stay with their parents etc. . But obviously if someone is not on electoral role or down as a council tenant etc and has no bills in there name thenit would be pretty hard for any casino to verify them.

You will probably find that all those were able to verify you on line catapulto so no need to get id. I see your point tho in this day and age when neteller accounts and bank accounts have all been verified I also don't see why casinos need to go through all the verification process. As they can check online through various places that the named person lives at an address and has that bank details etc then surely it should be enough especially when someone has been using the method to play at their casino etc. I mean you can apply online for a loan of £10,000 if you want and the bank can sure as hell check if your earnings credit rating and all info you submitted is correct without having to ask you to send documents so why cant a casino.

I took the SUB (deposit 50, get 100 bonus) at Vegas Palms back in February this year. When I went to withdraw £250, I got an e-mail which said I MAY need to provide documents to verify ID before the withdrawal was processed, then another one saying the withdrawal HAD been processed and then a third and final e-mail saying my withdrawal had been REVERSED (by them, not me) pending my providing of documentation that proved my ID.

I had an out of date Irish passport (by less than 2 years) and no driving licence. So I asked if my out of date passport was acceptable. They said no. I ended up just playing the balance and eventually losing it. I look back on that and think "I should have got my stubborn head on, got my docs together, got my withdrawal processed and then once the money was in my bank said FU to them in response to them saying FU to me".

I have made a point of ignoring every bonus offer at every FL casino ever since. I basically only log in to play their Power Play freerolls and the 3 hour 50 euro freerolls. I have even promised myself not to take up the SUB offers at Euro Palace and 7Sultans until I get a new passport or a provisional drivers licence. And even then, I probably will not take them up simply because FL Group is now more like FU Group. Not to mention the fact they are no longer Accredited.

Mr green had my highest payout and they auto verified, if you look at noddle, the free credit rating system you will see they do any fraud/money laundering checks on you and I think thats why you need no further ID.

I've seen this topic come up a few different times now, and It just boggles my mind that any adult can survive without a photo ID of some kind.
My experience is based on the USA so sorry if I'm being ridiculous with this, but would it not be easier to just get a photo ID rather than trying to find a casino that you don't need one. I believe that ALL casinos, probably even the ones you play at now have T & C reserving the right to request documents at any time at their discretion.

In the US a Photo ID is an important way of life. I use it at the bank, and many times it's asked for when using a credit card for purchases in a store. I could not imagine not having one. I need one for a job interview....................

There are many forms of photo ID available to us. Drivers license, Passport, Military Id or state issued photo ID. Most are inexpensive.

Thanks for the replies everyone but I am fully aware those casinos were able to verify me electronically - I'm not asking for casinos that do not perform identity checks on players for some nefarious reason, I'm just asking for peoples advice on where they have managed to be verified electronically because as I have been successfully verified in this way so many times I am confident that anywhere who uses these same methods will be able to verify me once again.

I am currently not allowed to drive for medical reasons so my driving license cannot be renewed. It is still valid for another forty years but most casinos deem it out of date because the government requires us to update the photograph every 10 years and my photograph was due for renewing in 2012 and this cannot be done until i am certified by doctor to drive again.

The only other option for us here is a passport, and whilst its not extraordinarily expensive, it is in the region of £90GBP for this document now (around 150$US). And most people in the UK right now are stretched to the max, the recession hit us super hard and even with a highly paid job in IT buying this document would represent a large portion of my gambling budget for a month - and when there are so many top quality casinos I can already play at without issue its just not really something I can justify right now, I might as well wait until I have a win that requires the document before spending the money on it as I've no plans to travel abroad right now.

At some point I may well sacrifice that chunk of a months budget in order to claim the multitude of SUBs out there I have still not taken advantage of because I am not confident I will be able to withdraw, and I'm confident that will be a great day In the meantime though, I have a paycheck coming on Tuesday and would love to find somewhere I can drop a £100 to play with a decent bonus, so keep the suggestions coming!

I get what you're saying, but it seems ridiculous that here in the UK I can open a bank account, start a new job and if unemployed claim benefits without photo ID, yet I need to shell out for photo ID to play at an online casino. I don't drive so I have no drivers licence and have never been abroad so have no passport.

Thanks for the comment, I totally understand it can be frustrating having to complete KYC documents and send in a number of bills and statements that most people get electronically these days and we're constantly looking at new systems to help us identify players. We are required by UK law and our Gaming license to verify players either electronically or by KYC (Know your customer) document requests. There can be a number of factors in a request for additional documents even if someone has been electronically verified some time in the past which can include possible fraud flags, increased deposits, adding multiple cards, money laundering etc. To be fair there could be thousands of scenarios these are requested and during my time in Customer Services and Account Security (back in the day) I saw a huge amount of very creative ways that people would attempt to defraud the systems. Obviously that's a tiny minority of players though it does have implications for all players. The only thing I can say is that we would make every effort to verify a player by any means we can which would comply with our gaming license.

I did have a flat but I left it without saying anything to anybody after I got broken in to and my laptop and phone got stolen by one of my ex's mates

then I had a bad mental breakdown 2 in fact so the choice was made to move back in with my parents till my health improves and it Is slowly

Sorry to hear that, I've spoken to our AS Team. They have advised that if you wish you can setup an anonymous shop account with a Connect card which will allow you to play the machines and place bets in shop. Once you decide to get an ID or other documents you could then upgrade your Shop account to an online one.

I know that this restricts you to a Shop only account but without and formal form of ID and exclusion from the electoral register its not possible for us to verify you for online.
