Ok, I have only ever withdrawn from microgaming & they deposit the winnings back into my credit card. I have had a win at Lucky Red & they don't do that. So my question is what do you use to get your withdrawals & how long does it take to get from whatever to your bank account?

Thanks in advance, Tanya.

I'm from Australia, and I primarily use Moneybookers. I like Moneybookers because they let you withdraw funds straight back to your bank account. It normally takes about 3 days after requesting the withdrawal (from Moneybookers, add what it takes to get withdrawal from casino to moneybookers).

The other good thing about Moneybookers is that you can deposit funds via your bank account also (through POLi).

I know other Australian users here have recommended Netteller, but the only withdrawal option (for me) is via cheque. Although there is an ATM card you can apply for that allows you to withdraw via ATM's.

Anyway with either of these you will need to verify first, but after that it makes online gambling so much easier and you never need to use your credit cards again.

Thanks baabaa. Daniel from Lucky Red told me about Moneybookers as well but I thought it is best to find out from someone from Australia first just to make sure :)

Yes as has been suggested Ewallets are best for Australians. Moneybookers, Neteller, click2pay, etc.

I'm actually quite suprised you have had success withdrawing back to an Aussie credit card. Usually our credit card providers don't allow it.

I have found I can have money refunded to credit cards up to the amount deposited in the past 6 months, but not anything more.

I like Moneybookers as the fees are lower, but the bank transfers can sometimes take up to 5 days....but its free (I think) and if you dont mind waiting its cool.

I also use NEteller and I have a prepaid Mastercard attached to it. Its handy having the MC as I use my Neteller funds to pay bills etc and buy stuff online in USD, plus if I go out for dinner I can use my winnings :) You can withdraw instantly via any Australian ATM, but it costs you USD$6 which is a bit OTT and the conversion rate it a bit suspect, but if you want your money right now then its what you pay for the convenience. I seldom take cash out though for that reason.

PoLi is also available via Neteller, but make sure if you're using IE8 that you click the 'compatibility' button next to the URL bar as it only works in IE7 for now.

Good Luck!

Thanks Nifty for the info about IE8. I just updated to IE8 and couldn't use POLi for either moneybookers or neteller. I had to jump onto other peoples computers to do by POLi transactions.

I'll try out the compatiablity setting as suggested.

Thanks guys for your help. I have another question tho - is moneybookers a bit like paypal? I have 2 withdrawals 12 hours apart, can I wait till both deposits are made into moneybookers before I transfer to my bank account? Also how long does it take to go from the casino to moneybookers?
I will check the Netteller out but I deposit way lots more than I withdraw so I guess moneybookers will do for now :D

Yes, Moneybookers and Neteller are exactly like paypal.
How fast money gets into your moneybookers account depends on the Casino.
Here's some examples (I find these the best of each software platform):

3Dice - Basically instant
32Red - Within 24 hours, generally within 6 hours
Club World - Within 24 hours
Slotocash - Within 24 hours
Intercasino - Within 24 hours

I will only play at Casino's that can payout in under 24 hours. If a casino takes longer then that, I don't plat at again.

hiya

yer agree with moneybookers as well

never had a delay longer than 4 days from site to mb ( from a poker site ) and average 48 hours from mb to bank

just make sure you do the verifications in moneybookers to have your account going
they send you a letter (old fashioned postage stamp :D ) with a code
they dummy deposit into your bank account and you have to tell them the amount
and they take a small withdrawl from ya cc and you have to verify the amount and that amount is credited to your moneybookers once you verify roughly 2 euros

once your done there thats it

but take note ... some sites only allow you to withdraw through money bookers after first depositing to them with it so gl :)

Thanks again guys for your help. I have got the withdrawal from the casino to moneybookers - it must be approx 12-24 for Lucky Red. Now I went to withdraw from Moneybookers into my bank account & it says my account is locked. I guess I have to wait for their small deposit to arrive in my bank account before I can make a withdrawal but do I have to wait for the letter to verify my address as well? Coming from UK (I think that is where it is coming from) could take forever:mad:

you should get the letter within a week
the small bank deposit should be 24 hours

go to the help section and look for my account is locked , it should tell you why your account is locked specifically

gl and grats on win ;-)

I verified my account over 24 hours ago & I still cannot withdraw my winnings but I can deposit, it says to contact security@moneybookers which I have done & am still yet to receive a reply. Is this the norm? Am I panicing for nothing? Thanks again.

No everything is fine mate, what you have done is gone one step ahead of yourself is all.
Basically you were going to have to wait to get your money anyway, what has happend is you have opened a moneybookers account, you have then made a withdrawal back to moneybookers from the casino which is fine in both the casino and moneybookers eyes.
What needs to happen now is moneybookers need to verify you, so they will request ID from you etc, what they will also ask you to verify your bank account.

Im sure when you log into your moneybookers account it asks you to verify the account??, if so, follow those instructions and they will then send you something in the mail like a code you need to verify.
Once this is all done you will safely have your money

Me, I live in ALice Springs in the Northern Territory, I both use moneybookers and Neteller and for me personally having the Neteller ATM card is the way to go.Neteller is pretty much the same as moneyboookers execpt they offer you a pre paid ATM card so when you win at a casino, withdraw the money to neteller and then log into your neteller account and just transfer the funds from netller to the card and Im good to go, I just then go to a ATM machine and withdraw the money, to be honest the fee's arent THAT bad and I like getting my money in a timely manner so that doesnt bother me.

You may want to look into getting the pre paid card as when you win you pretty much have the money in your hands 48 hours later.

Thanks for that. I will wait another 24 hours & see if I receive an email from them, I guess maybe they don't work on weekends like me:mad: the lucky buggers, lol.

E wallet

Do you guys have e wallet down under? It is the best way to take the money and I think that there is none pending time whatsoever. But some casinos have a pending period of their own.I really recommend E wallet or e wallet express since they are the most secure way to take the dough out ; )

Moneybookers has made me so angry  I had still not received any reply to my emails tonight so I called them, the woman on the phone says - yes I see your account has been verified but you have not sent your documents in - I say, what documents & where do I need to send them too - she says I will send you an email with some number I need & explained how to send them & said I would receive the email in 5 minutes. Ok, that was fine. 45 minutes later still no email so I call again - Another woman answers & says the email has been sent, I tell her I have not received it & she says, yes you have  I think I should know. I said ok send it now while I'm on the phone & wait till I get it. She says she has sent it & I say no there is no email here & she hangs up on me  I wait another 15 mins for the email & call again, this time I say please give me the number so I can send documents as I am not receiving emails. Now documents have been sent but how much longer do I have to wait before I can withdraw my money? Also how come I am not receiving these emails as I got them fine right up until I verified my bank account, then nothing :what:

Neteller and MB support is useless - everything is usually smooth etc so you generally wont need them, but unfortunately they are involved in the verification process.

I would ask them to forward the email to a different address - are you currently using an ISP or web-based email? Sometimes an email from a certain domain might be blocked, but another from a different address in the same domain might get through...Ive had this happen several times. Did you also verify that they had the correct address? Some CS person may have typed it incorrectly etc. Also, if its an automated email then there may be a delay in the automailer so it might be taking far longer than the 5 minutes quoted.

I would expect it to take longer to be processed via Fax as they probably only check it a few times a day, so give it 24 hours. You might also want to open a Neteller account and get that verified while you have all the docs handy so if you want to use it in the future you wont have these delays.

Good Luck - let us know what happens.

The emails may also be coming through to your junk folder so check there to make sure it's not coming through that way, I use bigpond (telstra) for my internet and I get all the emails fine, a lot come through to my junk folder so you may want to check that.

Also if you are going to be betting online then get a new email going, you dont want to use your primary email for casino's or web wallets ( web wallets are moneybookers/neteller).
Go for a Gmail account or hotmail, trust me you will see what I mean down the track.

Heck mate if your having problems im happy to give you my mobile number to help you out.

I have a hotmail address that I always use as I have had it for years & always remember the password
I thought maybe because it was a hotmail address that is why I wasn't receiving any replies but they have replied to me before 3 times using this address & this address has also been verified.
I am still locked out so I will now have to wait until tomorrow night (because of their time) I have to work tomorrow so I better get some sleep. I am hoping by tomorrow my account will be unlocked, fingers crossed. I will let you all know either way.

Cheers, Tanya.

Edited to add: Yep, checked the junk folder - nothing. What is Gmail?

Gmail is just another free email domain like hotmail etc, it is google's email section. very similar to hotmail but most emails get through.

Did you confirm the email to the staff at moneybookers to confirm it is going to the right place.

Finally I can withdraw :yahoo: but still no emails  And yes I did comfirm my email address with them the first & second time I called, it is very strange. I think I will open another email addy & change it there.
Thanks again guys for all your help :D
