I'm getting ready to head to Macau on Sunday for the Asian I-Gaming Congress. There are quite a number of companies that will have reps there:

You probably already have this on your list as a current issue, Bryan but it would be interesting to know from 888.com the following about the Lucky-ass affair:

1) How thorough was their DD on this white label that went wrong so fast?

2) How much influence does a white labeller have over a sub-licensing company that also handles all the operational side - like 888.com?

3) How could 888.com have possibly countenanced closing so many accounts on BS rationales, and then trying to get away with just returning deposits?

4) May we hope for a more intelligent and professional approach to future white labelling deals?

5) Why did it take an experienced outfit like 888.com three weeks (and widespread condemnation) to start sorting out the mess?

6) Rhetorical question: considering the above do they value their reputation at all?

7) Were they approached by the Gibraltar authorities following player complaints?

8) Have they noted that their marketers perhaps need to avoid a shotgun approach when recruiting affiliates - ie bringing bonus whoring sites on board and then wondering why they were hit on by so many advantage players?

First and foremost, I will sneak into the enclave and murder Playtech's rep for barring me from the games.:mad:

Bryan, I notice that there are quite a number of companies that have the word 'mahjong' in them. Are we gonna get a large dose of that in the near future? Maybe you could do some exploration on that.

Internet Gambling

Hi there. My comments are about how some companies are working towards live action gameplay, with webcams and using those real life results, and its relationship to online gambling, that some Western online casino companies use.

For me, it's integrity, it's making sure that all games maintain the consistant level of integrity, which includes poker, board games, Crown and Anchor, dice games like craps, sic bo, games like roulette <both versions> Big Wheel and making sure that the shoe games hold their integrity too.

Software designers also have an affect on the fairness of payout on the players. Blackjack is a solid example of having its blackjack payout cut from 2-1, down to 6-5 in recent years.Video poker has been cut down too, from traditional 9/6 JOB.Craps too, the reduction of its payout on hardway plays and the field bet on triple 12, Sic bo with payout cutting to it too.Reduction of payout on ties in Baccarat, creation of the side bet option in baccarat.

Software that can run on old and new computer, so people of various stages in life, could choose to gamble for fun and entertainment, just like they do on various poker sites, play money game sites.

There's also a rising concern with the RNG microchip that affects the integrity of video poker and how the chip has changed video poker integrity over the years. How will the software, keep video poker from being a game that a player would avoid?

How will the software work when combined with other themes, like video games for money, like for home consoles or classic arcade units, made into software for competitions/gambling?

Making sure that the numbers are random for Keno, Lottery games, Bingo.

It's making sure that video poker, will play just like a fair and good casino would have the game set, and not have options to lock out the Royal Flush or Straight Flush, or locked out the Joker in Joker's Poker, preventing people from winning the major jackpots on any level of bet, whether it be 1st level all the way through 5th level or even beyond the 5th level, depending on how the software was developed.

Integrity is what the old gamblers of the 1950's question online, with how gambling is handled, because they had to deal with the "boys" that control and have control in Las Vegas, and in other parts of the USA and EU.

Another comment, is preventing hackers from hacking the websites, stealing information that can be used for crime.

Another comment, would be protecting people from terrorists, web security issues.

There's also the past issues of sports betting in Asia, and business dealings with the communist governments of the orient, who are getting more into things that are "capitalistic" in nature, that Mao, Marx and Lenin would probably be opposed with. The fear of assets being taken by these governments, who are controlling free thought, and using the assets seized from these gamblers, from asians and by western gamblers, who may in turn use their money for their future war machines.

Countries like China, North Korea, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia,Taiwan, and many other countries who have had political strife, and have had armed conflicts in the past century, trying to get their hands on any money, that could be used for warfare and corruption.

Detection software for fraudsters using programs to know hole cards, algorhythms.

Making sure that payout methods are easily to do through the software program and language translations.

Helping those people with disabilities like blindness and people who are deaf, who enjoy gambling.

These concerns have been mention by many people to me, over the legitiment fear of online gambling.

I'm back! I've been traveling for the past day and a half and I finally have my feet on the ground. Today is a normal work day for me unless I pass out at the keyboard :D

Great trip - very interesting and I'll be providing the full details in the upcoming newsletter.
