I'm trying to find out about the poker room Aced.com. Does anyone know if it's a trustworthy site? I don't see any seals of approval or stuff like that on the website.

Dont

I wouldnt put my money there.
First hand experience.

Although they are KGC license holder I dont know if they hide this fact behind that RNG certificate which pops up when you try to select KGC logo, because they dont want to deal with KGC or there is more to it.

I think they intentionally put the wrong link and they even intenionally put the KGC logo which is shown on KGC site as one of the FAKE ones. But when you check the list on KGC, they are there.

If you want to play on Merge, try Carbon, they own the network.

Not 100% sure LF but I think that RNG pop-up is a new feature that's going to be rolled out to many (all?) KGC licensees. I could check into that if it's a real concern.

Didnt know that maxd. If that is the case then everyone should disregard that remark about license and link.

Unfortunately, its not the only thing that concerns me. I`m following a gut feeling here and not sharing more info about that particular incident. Let me just add that RB affilliate removed them from offered RB deals after that particular incident and I`m guessing it was not the only incident that affiliate had with them. Maybe that will be sufficient at the moment for more curious ones.

From my own experience I would also recommend PlayersOnly/PlayAces poker room on Merge but on 2+2 there are people, US players mostly, having trouble getting money from Sportsbook so I didnt mention them in previous post. Carbon is not best on the market but is definitely best on Merge.

When I had an issue with the parent company of the merge network, I had loads of $BR at four sites on the network; PokerHost, Aced, PlayersOnly, and Feltstars. When this parent company had me perm. banned from the entrie network, only PokerHost and Aced worked with me and the KGC in an effort to get me reinstated. They were the only two out of those four that sent me my $BR. IMHO, Aced is trustworthy. I feel this way bc the merge network was giving them a license to steal the money in my acct (playersonly and feltstars are licensee's of this dirty license), but they chose to do the right thing, and get me a payout since I was blocked from any pokerplay on the entire site. But I wouldn't trust the Merge Network, and more over, I dont trust all of the sportsbook site poker rooms on the merge network one bit.

TYVM for this post which allowed me a brief second of off topic steam release.

good day!

I have tried to dig up dirt on this poker room but I just haven't been able to find proof that they are bad so I'm going to assume they are good. Innocent until proven guilty right? I even tried some other poker forums but nothing in particular turned up about them. Basically it is the association with Merge that has some people on edge about them. I think I'll just have to wait and see on this one.

Aced went broke a while ago and Merge took them over. They're as safe as Carbon now for what that's worth.

Lizzy, if you promote Carbon, their Chipsplit Aff program also has creatives for Aced. If you're asking cuz you want to play there, go for it, they're ok.

Thanks :) I was asking because I need to replace the Tony G poker room which no longer exists with a new review. Coming here gives me the best idea as to whether or not it's good enough to add. I just love this forum! :D

For right now I only have an account at FTP and Doylesroom but am actually very interested to give this one a try. Mostly what attracted me to it was the achievements program thing they have.

I know I'm going to end up making an account there anyways just to check it out.

Not that I`ve been watching whats happening with Aced but I missed that one completely.

When did this happen?

They are on the same network so no surprise that you could play on different poker room but in the same tourney if affiliate had a deal with both poker sites.

I found only one article on pokerfish blog about this takeover by Carbon. Maybe they didnt want bad publicity, who knows.

Anyway, Carbon poker owners are also owners of Merge gaming, same as Cake Poker and Cake network.

It happened months ago. They pulled a midnight run and after a bunch of affiliates raised a ruckus, Merge took them over and paid up what was owed.

There was a lot of discussion on PokerAffiliateListings.com when it happened. If you search the forums it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well here's a good answer based on experience.
