Anyone here from Brazil, or know about online gaming in Brazil?

I've had it with this weather, I need to go somewhere warm, somewhere that has a reasonable cost of living, with beautiful beaches and palm trees, and wide open spaces, etc.

From my preliminary enquiries, Brazil seems to be accepted by most of my favourite casinos, but Brazilian law is a bit of a grey area.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.:)

I could certainly do with a bit of this, right now! :)

Thanks liberec, but the operating language is not really the issue for me, I am more interested in the political climate regarding online gaming.

I think you have the wrong continent mate, that's North Africa. If it were Brazil it'd be raining and there'd be a line of ladyboys.

I've gone off Brazil now, gorgeous place, though.

It seems that non-residents are not permitted to open a bank account, and most ATMs will not accept foreign bank cards, and according to the expat sites, everyday living is a bit of a war of attrition against bureacracy, and people dragging their feet, etc., none of which is conducive to the mental state of the keen gambler. My sister has just returned from a holiday there, and she told me that the border controls to and from the neighbouring countries are very tight, and 'inquisitive'.

Oh well! Back to the drawing board.
